We recently had our wedding in the most magical castle setting, and choosing Ian Hennessy as our photographer was one of the best decisions we made. From start to finish, Ian was professional, friendly, and incredibly talented. He captured the atmosphere of the castle perfectly, every detail, every emotion, every moment felt alive in the photos.
What impressed us most was the remarkably fast turnaround time we got our photos in just 3days. We were amazed at how quickly Ian delivered our gallery without compromising on quality. The photos were stunning, beautifully edited, and exceeded all expectations.

We could not have found a better photographer than Ian for our wedding. To say we are happy with everything is an understatement. I love that he does documentary style and the photos aren’t over edited. My husband and I don’t love to be the subjects of photos and can be awkward in posed photos, but you would never know that looking at our pictures. I usually hate pictures of myself but love these and am excited to show people. Ian captured the day perfectly and you can feel the essence of it through his photos. His turn around time was SO fast. Our wedding was Saturday and I believe he had the final photos to us on Wednesday. From the very first correspondence Ian was always quick to respond, flexible and informative. We are so impressed with everything and would recommend over and over.

Ian's professionalism and ability to blend in to the background using a fluid style of photography as opposed to being overly staged/posed made us very relaxed and helped make the day look so natural. His speed at returning the completed pics were an amazing surprise. Highly recommend Ian for any occasion.

Ian was our wedding photographer in December 2022. From the first contact we knew that we were in good hands. Ian was always there to answer any questions or queries that we had, and was very reassuring in all communications. We couldn't have asked for a better photographer on the day - as two people who don't love photoshoots, Ian (& Tyler Fallon videographer) kept us both so relaxed and made the 'taking photos' part of the day fun. Taking the bride and groom photos ended up being one of our favourite parts of the day. Ian kept us laughing and feeling relaxed and comfortable. His documentary style meant he was capturing the day as it unfolded, which is what we wanted. On top of him being amazing to work with on the wedding day, we received the most amazing photos a few days later. He captured all the little moments that, as the bride and groom, we were inevitably going to miss. I knew we wouldn't be disappointed with Ian but we were absolutely blown away by how much we loved our photos. They will be treasured forever. I would 100pc recommend Ian to anyone looking for an easygoing, kind, professional, and skilled photographer for their wedding day. Thanks again Ian!!!

I would highly recommend Ian! He understood straight away what we wanted - we wanted the day captured but also didn't want to spend too long away from our guests. Ian and our Videographer Tyler Fallon worked great together - they captured so many beautiful shots of the whole day! They were a great team to have on the day - both so professional and friendly and put us all at ease. The photos were also turned around exceptionally fast! Ian was amazing, we hardly knew he was there. Snapping away getting absolutely amazing photographs which were ready way quicker than we thought. Ian has an eye and a flair that really shows in the finished product. I would absolutely recommend Ian.

We are absolutely delighted that we chose Ian Hennessy Photography for our Wedding Day! It was nice and relaxed from our first chat with Ian and from that, he knew exactly the type of Photos that we wanted for our Wedding. He also done some Videography for the Wedding too which was fantastic.

We did the main Family Photos in the Church and then we went to a Forest Park for our own Photos. Very relaxed all day! Amazing Photos that we will have forever. For our ?Couple Photos? and the Guests at the Wedding Reception, we have a lot of natural photos which is what we both love and wanted. Fantastic photographer . Couldn't fault him. Blends into the room yet captures every moment . Nothing a problem . Highly recommend for anyone who is looking for someone who is chilled out but gets the job done with out you realizing .

Ian was always without a doubt going to be our wedding photographer. We didn't even look at anyone else's week, we were that sure.

Ian was the perfect gentleman for the entire day. From the moment he stepped into my parents house until he left the Hodson Bay Hotel that night, he was nothing short of amazing. From giving us little tips to helping with the cufflinks and button holes, he really was a massive part of our day and helped wherever he could. I doubt you get that with many photographers.

The idea of having someone with a camera in my face all day was very daunting, but Ian had my husband and I feeling very relaxed and comfortable. Ian's approach to photography is so relaxed and natural, which is exactly what we wanted. We didn't want our wedding photos looking really staged and edited.

Because Ian was going on holidays shortly after our wedding, he got straight to getting our photos ready. I still couldn't believe how quickly he sent them to us. Hundreds of photos. He really captured to love and happiness in the day and and we literally couldn't be happier with them. The more I look at them, the more I enjoy them ???? I really love having such beautiful photos that hold such precious memories ??

Just to say that we didnt spend a whole lot of time choosing a photographer.As we came across Ian.s website and knew from what we saw was a very profesional guy .whos work was second to none.just to say to take the pressure off your wedding organising..give ian a shout for that special day...just like us you will be glad you Did.

Highly recommend Ian Hennessy, from first contact he was professional, quick to respond and so easy to deal with - he was fantastic from start to finish. On our wedding day he went above and beyond and took fabulous photos. So many guests commented on how lovely but unobtrusive Ian was throughout the day. He had our highlights video to us the day after the wedding and we returned from our honeymoon to a beautifully presented USB with all our photos on it.
