My journey began with one simple idea: people deserve photographs that feel exactly like their memories.
Since 2017, I've dedicated myself to documenting weddings in the most honest way possible. Over the years, I've photographed hundreds of celebrations across Ireland, each one teaching me something new about love, connection, and storytelling.
What keeps me inspired is the trust couples place in me. Being invited into one of the most meaningful days of someone's life is a privilege I'll never take for granted.
My work is airy, vibrant and effortlessly natural.
I focus on genuine emotions rather than perfect poses. The laughter between speeches, the quiet moments before the ceremony, the tears, the hugs, the dance floor chaos—those are the memories that truly matter.
I'm deeply inspired by cinema, and I love creating imagery that feels cinematic without ever losing authenticity. Every gallery tells a story that unfolds naturally, just like your favourite film.
I believe the best wedding photographs aren't staged—they're felt.
My goal is to create images that transport you back to exactly how your wedding day felt, not just how it looked.

We recently got married, in April 2026, in Carlingford, and had the pleasure of having Lisa as our photographer. From our first meeting Lisa, she was very attentive and meticulous. We knew she had a really good eye as she captured our friends wedding shots also. She was very organised and we sent over particular locations / shots we'd like in advance. On the day she made us feel so at ease and captured the moments that felt most important to us. She worked so well with the videographer on the day, the dream team. We recently got our snaps and are over the moon, they are everything we wanted and more. On top of her professionalism, she is also...such a vibe...we would highly recommend her.

From the first video call I had with Lisa, I knew she was the exact kind of person we wanted with us on our big day! Lisa was a pleasure to deal both during the lead up to our wedding and on the day itself. Although Lisa wasn’t available to photograph our wedding herself, we’re so grateful she still took care of our booking and handled the editing of our photos. She sent her trusted colleague Cassio to capture the day - who was incredible to work with!

Lisa was the perfect photographer for our wedding. She is very professional and easy to work with. She was great at managing time on our wedding day to make sure that we got to enjoy our reception and spend time with our guest, while also ensuring we got all the photos we wanted. Lisa was an amazing for photographer for our tiny city wedding. Her communication up to the event was excellent and she was so helpful and informative when it came to plans and ideas for pictures for the day. Lisa was our photographer for a wedding celebration with 55 guests. She has a very friendly demeanour and naturally put everyone at easy. Our couple session was fun and the family photos weren't too choreographed or time consuming, just as we wanted. As for the results we were absolutely thrilled with our photos. She captured the essence of our day perfectly, we look so happy & relaxed in every single photo and have so many favourites it's impossible to choose. We got a short video too, it's perfect too, everything we hoped it would be stirring memories of the day and having such fun snippets. She even set it to our song. Lisa is manifique!

Lisa was incredible for our day, made sure myself and my husband were comfortable (something we usually arent at all in front of a camera) she made me feel confident and beautiful!!
She always responded quickly and was incredibly flexible as we had changed tge plans for the day a couple of times throughout the planning process.
I couldn't recommend her more, we received our pictures a week after and everyone who sees them comments on how beautiful they are. Lisa is wonderfully talented.

Lisa is an amazing photographer with a great price if you're on a budget. I only had a small wedding and had Lisa booked for only 2 hours, she listen to what style of photos I wanted and really captured everything exactly how I wanted - place, movement, style, colours- flawless work!

From the moment we met Lisa, we knew she was the one. She’s funny, straight-talking, and instantly understood exactly what we wanted from our day. We asked for a table dash—which she warned us had been mental in the past—but she took it on anyway and pulled it off like the absolute pro that she is.
My partner and I are both pretty awkward when it comes to having our photos taken, but Lisa guided us through the entire process so naturally that it never felt uncomfortable. The results were honestly insane—we couldn’t believe it was actually us in those photos, and that 1000% would not have happened without her.
It wasn’t just us either; all of our family commented on how fantastic she was. Lisa has a no-nonsense approach that whipped everyone into shape and made the day run so smoothly—something you really shouldn’t overlook on your wedding day (more time with your guests is priceless!).
And somehow she’s basically a ninja. We didn’t see her at all during the ceremony, yet she managed to capture angles from left, right, centre, and seemingly above.
We would recommend Lisa to absolutely anyone. She’s the whole package.

We were originally on the fence about hiring a photographer for our small budget wedding, but finding Lisa was the best decision we made. Her flexible packages meant we didn't have to commit to a full day, which suited our needs perfectly.
As two introverts, we were nervous about being the center of attention, but Lisa was incredibly supportive and charming, making us feel at ease instantly. She has a fantastic eye, blending reportage-style shots with beautiful staged photos. Even though it was a stormy day in Dublin, she turned the weather into an advantage, making a stunning feature out of our umbrella and the city streets. We couldn’t be happier!

Not only is Lisa a fantastic photographer, but she is a warm and genuine person; the perfect addition to any wedding day. From the outset her communication with us was outstanding. On our initial call we were all set to go for her full day package, but having listened to our plans Lisa advised that the half day would more than suffice. When it comes to weddings, not many providers help you save money - so we knew she was one of the good ones right away.
She made the process on the wedding day so smooth and comfortable. Neither of us are particularly comfortable being photographed but Lisa made it so easy and fun. We honestly couldn't recommend her highly enough.

Lisa is insanely talented, efficient, professional and looks after her clients so well. I got so many compliments from my guests on her efficiency and talent at taking photos. I honestly didn't even notice her moving around the venue, I was in awe at all the photos she got without me even realising she was there. She responds so quickly, is always so happy to answer questions or concerns and is incredible value for money. Her goal is to have happy clients and she is super flexible and willing to do whatever you need to achieve that. Her ethos of your wedding day not being a photo shoot is so important - she got incredible shots of me and my husband and it took 15/20 minutes. The family shots also took 10 minutes. This was so important to us to be able to enjoy time with our guests while also getting the important photos. The end results are incredible, I am so over the moon with the photos. My dad used to be a professional wedding photographer and he thought she was great, and the photos gorgeous. I can't recommend Lisa enough!!!

Lisa was absolutely amazing from start to finish. Myself and my husband would both be extremely camera shy, Lisa made us both feel so at ease and picked up on our vibe immediately ! She blended in with the bridal party so well and captured not only the more formal photos that we requested but also beautiful litte candid moments that we'll always cherish! Lisa is incredibly talented, professional, and an all round wonderful human being. We spent a bit of time trying to pick a photographer that matched what type of pictures we wanted and Lisa appeared to match that. Lisa is amazing!! From my very first enquiry, to very good prompt communication throughout the planning process, to the day itself, and then of course the photos!!! I could not recommend Lisa enough, she was so much fun, had amazing ideas for photo locations and made myself and my husband look like naturals behind the camera, we were actually both a bit nervous of the photos because we’re both a bit camera shy but Lisa just made it so much fun, gave us great direction and then is obviously insanely talented at getting the best shots! All our guests raved about her, and our dog ,who we had asked to be the star of the show, loved her! I am obsessed with every single photo we got back. Lisa is amazing and I would highly highly recommend her!!

We honestly couldn’t have asked for a better wedding photographer. From the very beginning she was so inclusive, calm, and incredibly efficient, which made the whole day flow effortlessly. She blended into the background so naturally that at times you forgot the camera was even there — yet somehow she captured every meaningful moment.
This was hard to do considering it was a wedding of 13 people!

We have Lisa quite a task with capturing our wedding in a very short space of time. She managed to capture the day perfectly with lovely photos of all the guests, of the ceremony, our family photos and a chic city couples shoot - I honestly don’t know how she did it! The quality of her photos were top class and the price packages she offers are extremely reasonable given the level expertise she has. Not only is Lisa a wonderful photographer but she is also a lovely person, she brought great energy and made everyone feel really comfortable. Our son is autistic and struggles with new people and crowds but Lisa was great with him and managers to get the most amazing photos of him, one with him smiling directly at the camera in his little suit - still our favourite picture of him to date! Thanks so much Lisa, we’re so glad we found you, highly recommend Lisa to anyone looking for a professional photographer ❤️

Lisa made our couple's shoot so enjoyable even for two people awkward in front of a camera! And the family shots were relaxed and fun and done efficiently to ensure we could enjoy our drinks reception,which was really important to us.

We had our wedding ceremoney in mid January in South Dublin. There was a number of last minute changes to schedule and venue. Lisa was incredibly flexible with these changes and was everything you could possibly want in a wedding photographer. The end result was incredible in the album she produced, Lisa went above and beyond. All our guests complimented Lisa's ability to make the photo session really enjoyable and comfortable. We looked at so many photographer profiles but nobody stood out quiet like Lisa Chonier, from the moment we saw her website we knew this is exactly the style of photos we were looking for on our wedding day. From the beginning Lisa was beyond professional, attentive and kind and she really listened when we discussed what special moments we would like to capture on the day. As soon as we booked Lisa we knew we made the right decision as her communication and attention to detail was just impeccable. On the morning of the wedding she really made myself and all the bridal party to feel at ease and she captured some beautiful and natural moments from the morning. She provided a calming, fun and relaxing environment throughout the whole day, she was really focused on getting the perfect pictures for our wedding day and ensuring that everyone was together when capturing the family portraits. She was so great with the children at the wedding too and getting them to smile for the photographs which isn't easy! After the wedding day she stayed in contact with us letting us know the progress of our wedding photos. Once we got the professional photos back we were just in awe of how they turned out, they exceeded our expectations! She captured every moment so beautifully from the candid shots at the reception to our couples photoshoot. The quality and style of the pictures were just spectacular and we would highly recommended Lisa to any future couples out there, you will not be disappointed! Not to mention she is just the sweetest human! I wish I could get married a second time just to book her again, she was just that good!

We were unsure about getting a photographer as I wanted to feel relaxed on the day and not worried about cameras! However we contacted Lisa and she was brilliant from the start. Lisa was the perfect photographer for our wedding. From the moment we met her that morning we just loved her. It was like she was part of the family. She was very professional in her work, well organised and calm. I cannot stress enough about how much FUN we had with her. We both thoroughly enjoyed our private session with her. She made it a lot of fun, we laughed the whole way through. Her french accent is so beautiful. The wedding guests had a great time with al of her tricks for camera poses.
