Truly one of the best Makeup Artists. Grainne has an incredible wealth of knowledge on different products and colour palettes and how they apply to you specifically. She helped me find the perfect wedding look for me. She asked me for some examples of looks I liked and used those as a base to guide me on what was going to work for my skin and skin tones. When I had my trial I genuinely could not believe how amazing I looked. I had terrible patchy tan from my tan trial and she managed to blend my makeup to this and I looked flawless. My makeup on the actual wedding day was somehow even more stunning. I felt and looked the best I ever have. She made me feel at ease and confident in her company, nothing was too difficult or a problem. She really pushed me to be honest with her about how I felt about my look as she really wanted to make sure I loved it and that I was happy with it and I can see why, as on the day I felt so confident and actually felt I looked really beautiful. Feeling the way I did was priceless so she really valued my honesty as all brides deserve to feel like they look their best.
Grainne also helped me with so much more than just my makeup she helped with tips on wedding day prep for great skin, when to tan to get the most out of it, time schedules for the morning and even therapy on the morning! She is so calm and cool under pressure she helped create such a fun and relaxed atmosphere in the house on the morning and is genuinely the most beautiful person inside and out. Grainne is the sole person behind makeup by GC and is absolutely amazing at what she does. Grainne not only provides beautiful bridal makeup on the day but she also works to prep the skin in advance to ensure it is glowing and will really show off the makeup. My skin was in very dry condition when I visited Grainne for my bridal trial. Grainne worked to prep my skin over a series of 2 facials to get rid of the dryness so it would be glowing by the time the wedding came around and really show off the beautiful bridal makeup.
What I also love about Grainne is that she is super responsive. She gets back to her brides so quickly and you know your in safe hands. She was so helpful in creating the on the day look during the trial and really listens to what you like and also suggests what she thinks which is brilliant if your unsure. On the day, she made the whole bridal party feel at ease. She also bought the tunes which created a great atmosphere and stayed with us for final top ups right up to when we left for the ceremony. Grainne is amazing.. from the time I booked, to the trial to the big day Grainne was a dream to deal with. Always very quick with replies to any of my messages & as for the make up it’s self all I can say is flawless… the coverage was amazing but not caked on, my skin looked amazing & the makeup lasted all day & night! It was still so perfect at bedtime it was nearly a crime to remove it! Her attention to detail was second to none & she catered to everyone in my bridal parties different skin types & requests. I would highly recommend her to any bride!

I was so lucky to have Grainne do my make up for my wedding. Grainne’s communication in the lead up to the day could not be faulted. The morning of the wedding went so smoothly. I had 4 bridesmaids, there was a lot to fit in and Grainne’s timing was impeccable. She even had time to give some attention to my flower girl and everyone got a touch up before we left for the church. The make up itself was amazing, and lasted to the early hours of the morning. I highly recommend Grainne to any upcoming brides.

I came across Grainne's instagram and could see straight away from photos and videos how brilliant she is with make up. But something about Grainne that cannot be captured on camera is how calming her presence is, exactly what you need on the morning of the wedding! She also had the patience of a saint the morning of my wedding - so many tears of joy between the bridal party slowing things down and she still managed to get 6 of us done with loads of time to spare. Even with crying throughout the day, make up didn't budge on any of us all day, even into the early hours of the next morning.
I went to Grainne for skin prep as well and wow, it made such a big difference, my skin was glowing before any make up was even applied. Grainne went through every single detail with me, making sure she knew exactly what I wanted and answered all questions and queries I had.

I would like to thank Grainne for being such a professional and holistic beauty therapist who not only looked after me and my bridesmaids beautifully on the outside, with our make up..which looked fab and lasted tears and dancing..but she also calmed and soothed us , helped fix my dress on the day as well as worked as unobtrusively as possible. In the months before my wedding I attended her beautiful studio for million dollar facials plus microneedling which made a huge difference to my skin and she was always on hand with help and advice. Grainne was fabulous! I contacted her to do my make up and she responded quickly with the services she offered. Unfortunately I would have loved her skincare package but living in the UK I was unable to utilise these. I was not back in Ireland until the week before the wedding but this was fine - my trial was accommodated and there was plenty of time to chat about what I wanted - when I left, I decided on a few changes but one quick message and I was perfect on the day. Grainne worked wonders on us all and was especially good with my junior bridesmaid who wanted the full works - she explained different options that would be more suitable for her and the agreed on what would be done. All of Grainne?s make up was top quality and she stayed with us right until the last second for top ups and gave tips to help prolong our make up. I?d definitely recommend her to anyone!

Grainne was a pleasure to email and consult with coming up to our day, she made sure to make herself familiar with the skintypes and styles of make up needed and then on the day went through styles again. I had three bridemades and myself we were all perfect and after all the dancing and sweating the make up was still great until the early hrs of the next morning when it was washed off. She colour matched our skin colours perfectly and I normally find it hard to get my skin matched. I can't wait to get lots of pictures back from people that attended to show everyone what the makeup was like. Grainne was so pleasant and made us feel so comfortable, one bridesmade was only 13yr old and grainne made the makeup suit her so well it gave her so much confidence on the day.

Grainne was makeup artist for my wedding in Moyvalley Hotel on 31st March 2023. Grainne is completely professional, detailed, calm and excellent at her job. From meeting Grainne for my makeup trial I knew I had made the right choice. We chatted away and at each makeup step she checked in to see what I wanted added or taken away and listened completely to what I wanted to look like on my big day. On the day of the Wedding Grainne arrived early to the cottage to set up and be ready to go for the first bridesmaid. Grainne was absolutely incredible the morning of our wedding. She has a lovely calming presense which made me feel so relaxed. When looking for a supplier you always look at the quality of their service (which was impeccable) but you don't realise the impact they can have on the flow of the morning too. I had Grainne as my make up artist for my wedding and I couldn?t have asked for better! We had no issues at all. From the word go Grainne was as helpful as she possibly could be. My make up trial was brilliant and I was so happy with it. Grainne is very professional, took it in her stride and everyone?s make up was flawless. She definitely brought a sense of calm to the morning of the wedding there was no panic, you could tell she was very experienced in working with brides and bridal parties. I was so delighted to have grainn? as part of my morning !! Grainn? was first on the scene the morning of my wedding at 9 o?clock it was my first time meeting grainn? as i didn?t want a trial she is a lovely lady put me right at ease and we talked as if we knew each other already email was the only way we had communicated before hand and a week after my wedding we are still in contact and sharing our pictures back and forward Grainn?s skill is second to none she had myself and my bridesmaids feeling so confident and happy in ourselfs ?Hygiene was perfect mask was still worn and hands were always washed between each person..Im delighted i didn?t do a trial as it added to my overall happiness of seeing my final look which was better than i could have ever imagined a lot of time and effort was also put in sorting out times and schedule that she was able to work comfortable between each person ..Makeup stayed on perfect no touch ups where needed even after a lot of dancing and some happy tears throughout the day ?Overall Grainn? is just a really lovely person and provided me with the best experience possible and couldn?t fault her in anyway and feel lucky that i got to have her with me would definetly recommend

Grainne was my makeup artist for our wedding in April 2022 and was amazing from start to finish. Myself and my bridesmaids looked absolutely amazing and we all felt so confident on my wedding day. I had a makeup trial at Grainne?s studio and I was very satisfied with the result, and felt very confident going into the day. The morning of the wedding was stress free, as Grainne arrived early in the morning with a plan in place. As someone who suffers from a complex skin condition, Grainne put me at ease and made my skin/face look completely flawless. The talent she has for her craft is nothing but phenomenal. Grainne went above and beyond for my bridal party and I. From the moment I had my trial with her I knew I was in good hands. As someone who suffers from a complex skin condition, Grainne put me at ease and made my skin/face look completely flawless. The talent she has for her craft is nothing but phenomenal. Everything on the morning of went so smoothly, which made the whole process a breeze. Grainne listened to each of us and executed each look with the highest attention to detail. Everything was sanitised and cleaned throughly in between each girl and she couldn?t do enough for us also. Where to start, Grainne was absolutely fantastic . Everything we asked for she did perfect down to that littlest details. Grainne herself was so professional in her job and not to mention made us feel so relaxed and comfortable. I can't describe how well my makeup stayed on all day, I didn't have to fix it once it stayed on perfect and the coverage was amazing. I could not fault Grainne's work in any way. She also was brilliant and also got involved and took some class pics of us. Can only describe her in one word AMAZING and will definitely be recommending her. Thank you Grainne x

Grainne made me look and feel like a princess! She was very open to my ideas and listened to my feedback and opinions. I was so happy with my make up and I only needed to top up my lipstick in the evening, my foundation didn't budge. Also my mother doesn't usually wear make up so Grainne gave her a gorgeous light make up glow which wasn't too heavy for her. 10/10 I couldn't recommend her enough

Grainne is lovely and very professional lady. She's flexible and very easy to talk to. She's very skilled, listens to what your make-up needs are and makes you look exactly or even better that you would've expected. She's great with natural make up for tweens and lady's that are not comfortable wearing make up. Couldn't be happier with her work and would recommend her to everyone.

Grainne was an absolute gem I had to re arrange my makeup artist as my original date was changed due to COVID and my replacement artist was not available for the day of my wedding. Grainne stepped up. From the nervous trial she was so calm and understood everything..her professionalism and quality was just amazing I can't thank her enough for what she has done for me! The morning of my wedding she got my girls my mam and myself ready and had us looking so glam she was like part of the family touching us up and making sure our makeup was number 1 priority for the big day xx

Grainne has been absolutley amazing throughout the whole process from make up trial to wedding day. She is so talented and catered for all levels of make up. My mam wouldn't really wear make up and was so apprehensive about getting it done for the wedding. Once she met Grainne she was so at ease and enjoyed every minute of the trial and the wedding day. It goes without saying how talented Grainne is, all you need do is look at her beautiful brides. The special thing about her is her patience, kindness and friendliness. Amazing experience with Grainne, from the day of the trails I knew she was the best person to have do my makeup and for my bridal party she was so professional at her job made us feel so comfortable, worked her magic on us and we all looked amazing for the day. I couldn?t have ever imagined how perfect my makeup for my wedding would have turned out, but I was absolutely taken back where I started to cry at how beautiful Grainne made me look, from the bottom of my heart thank you for all your amazing talented work. The only way I can describe how I looked was I literally looked photoshopped walking around, even my videographer commented on how beautiful I looked and how easy it was to shoot close ups shots of my face.
When I think back this was the one aspect of my wedding I never once had a worried thought about because I knew I was in the most amazing hands ever. I even cried at my makeup trial at how fabulous my face looked, so I knew from this moment I didn?t have a thing to worry about. If I could give you a 10* star out of 5* I would!

Thank you so much to Grainne for bringing so much joy and professionalism the morning of my wedding. I was lucky to have Grainne do my makeup before for a black tie event so when it came to choosing my wedding makeup artist I knew she was the one for me. From the trial I felt confident me and Grainne where on the same page when it came to the bridal look I was trying to achieve. She really listened to what I wanted and i was so delighted with the final look. She was amazing when it came to replying to any questions I had and she had such a calming presence the morning of the big day. I got so many compliments on my makeup and zero touch ups where required. She gave me a few tips for my skin aswell which was a great help. I would highly recommend this girl if you want to stand out and feel beautiful for your wedding day she honestly works magic with them brushes. Grainne is absolutely a delight to work with and makes you feel a million dollars before making you look it! I was so very lucky that Grainne was available to do my wedding makeup and that of my 4 bridesmaids. From first contact she was more than happy to help with any questions and had suggestions when I wasn?t too sure of the final look. I asked if we could test it out for my hens and she was more than happy too. On the day she made everything effortless even with 5 girls to do! I loved my makeup it looked natural and I felt truly beautiful. Grainne is an amazing artist and I couldn?t recommend her highly enough!

Grainne did my makeup for my engagement photoshoot and again for my wedding. Grainne has so much patience and is a true professional when it comes to her work. I could not fault her work as everything she did went above and beyond my expectations. My makeup looked flawless in my engagement and wedding photos and I loved how she didn't pack on product and the makeup application itself felt so light. She's great at giving you tips and tricks to do your own makeup at home as well. Grainne is highly skilled and organized. I couldn't imagine having booked anyone else for my special day.

She took her time to get to know me and understand what I like and what I don't like especially since I am someone who doesn't use makeup an awful lot so didn't even know what I really wanted.
There was never any trouble in messaging with queries, she was always on hand to answer, and her guidance was next to none because on the day of my wedding I felt every inch of a princess.
Even through all the tears before even leaving the house the makeup did not budge.
If you are considering a makeup artist, I cannot recommend Grainne enough.
Thank you again Grainne for making me look exactly how I always imagined I would on my wedding day.
