Our wedding in Ballygarry Estate Hotel was everything we could have imagined and more, Padraig & Thys went above and beyond for us and we were looked after so well from the day we booked our wedding back in 2020 right up until the day of! Our guests are still complimenting the food & service - it was incredible!

Thanks so much to Amanda & Liam for helping us organise a magical amazing day. 5 Stars is not enough for the venue, the lodge, food, staff, for everything! Having our wedding ceremony in the Lodge was the best decision we made. My husband Se?n and I were treated like royalty the whole day and night! Staff seemed to know what we wanted before we did ourselves. Attention to detail was fantastic. Could not praise this venue and staff enough! Thanks again and we are hoping to be back for our first anniversary so watch out. I would recommend 100% anyone considering a venue to be married look no further than Ballygarry. Down to a fine art!

We choose the Ballygarry estate for our wedding reception as we have been there at previous weddings and it was fabulous. Thys our wedding coordinator was exceptional, he is extremely professional at what he does and a great asset to the Ballygarry. The minute we arrived to the reception we were met by Thys and Padraig, they were by our side to assist in anything we needed, even carrying our champagne glasses around the garden while we were taking pictures. The food.. what can I say everyone is still talking about the food, it was amazing, the staff kept coming to tables with more and more you definitely wouldn?t go hungry. The reception room itself was stunningly done up, having our wedding reception here took so much pressure off us as everything was done, table plan, flowers, candles decorations. Breakfast the next morning Thys and Padraig were there greeting and chatting to our guests, It was truly the most amazing day. I would 100% recommend the Ballygarry Hotel absolutely stunning hotel.

Thys, P?draig, Niall and all the staff in Ballygarry Estate went above and beyond for our wedding. From the very first email enquiring about availability all the way up until we left the day after the wedding nothing was ever too much. I remember asking Thys about the format for the father of the bride speech and he nearly wrote the speech for us! They were all incredible, the food was incredible. I could not recommend them enough! They are just amazing and all so lovely!

Where do I start? Thys and all of the team were extraordinary. From start to finish we knew we were in safe hands and couldn?t have asked for a better experience. We were completely blown away and would highly recommend the Ballygarry I would do it all in a heart beat!

From start to finish we can't rate Ballygarry highly enough. We dealt mostly with Thys and Amanda, no question or request was too much trouble. Every detail was covered and the day went smoothly while we were looked after by Thys and Niall. The Lodge was so beautiful and made the ceremony extra special. The meal was fabulous. There wasn't anything I would change about the day.

I would highly recommend Ballygarry for Weddings I fell in love with the Lodge when I went to view the venue. Padraig and his team could not have done enough for us on the day. I stayed in the Ballygarry Suite the night before and it was amazing, getting ready there the morning of was such a lovely experience, all the staff were so lovely and friendly, it felt like I waa at home as everyone was so warm & friendly and knew me by name.
We were so blessed and had a beautiful sunny day, so we had our drinks reception in the garden, the gardens in ballygarry are so beautiful so we didn't even need to leave the venue, we had all our wedding photos taken on the grounds.
My husband had a pre drinks reception on the gardens also where he was able to greet all our guests and have a little drink with them beforehand. The staff had it organised so well and they walked everyone down to the Lodge and once everyone was seated then they came to the Ballygarry suite to get me. The Lodge was absolutely breath taking. Then the bridal party were chauffeured around the grounds to take our wedding photos, which turned out amazing with the mountains in the background.
Our drinks reception was outside in the sunshine, with Danny Goggin playing outside, it felt like we were abroad. Just everything we had dreamed of.
The ballroom was beautifully organised & decorated and the food was out of this world.
Our guests are still talking about the venue.
We cannot thank Padraig and his team enough for everything that they did for us, they exceeded all expectations, it was everything that we dreamt of and more.

After attending many weddings all over Ireland, we just couldn?t face another Manor House with nowhere near enough chairs and one toilet. Also a huge issue we faced was paying a fortune for substandard service, dirty glasses left on tables, meals eaten before other guests on the table received theirs and staff that are indifferent.
Then we found Ballygarry. It looked perfect. Reviews were great. It was 3 hours drive from home, and in the middle of lockdowns we booked it without ever stepping foot near it. Since the day we actually got to visit Ballygarry we?ve never had one regret. It was the least stressful part of the wedding! I knew Thys and the team had every tiny detail covered, even the many things I didn?t ask for. They emptied the cars, took boxes of decor/photo frames etc and without a word everything was in its place the next day. You only had to ask something once and it was noted and remembered. The hotel itself is beautiful, modern and old at the same time but extremely well maintained, staff are personable and friendly but efficient and well rehearsed. The food is of excellent quality and great value. The wedding itself seemed effortless as everyone knew their role. From management to lounge staff, we met the nicest people, helping my son find his suit jacket, doing his tie and I?m pretty sure I only still have my shoes as some unknown staff member made sure they were put somewhere safe! There are many stories of family and friends being exceptionally looked after by staff over the 3 days we spent there (including one being driven to a shop for a new shirt at the last minute)!
Ballygarry is an absolute gem of a venue, nothing can go wrong with them in charge and I would recommend it to anyone, especially those who value great food and service.

Ballygarry were fantastic from the planning process right through to the execute of our wedding. The Ballygarry ceremony lodge, pavilion, gardens and wedding dining room all together within walking distance made it a relaxing and enjoyable day not just for us but all our guests had the same feedback.
The high quality of customer service/ attention to detail from Padraig, Thys, Niall, Chloe, Elaine, Noel to name over our 3 days was great.
The food quality from the Ballygarry chefs was consistently great throughout our stay. Check out there bar food if your in the area for a spin/holiday, great feast.
The garden and grounds are beautiful and photographers have loads of areas to take intimate and funny photos. Ours have come out great.
The Ceremony lodge was amazing and anyone planning a civil ceremony should check it out and let the Ballygarry team should what is on offer.
My wife and I would highly recommend Ballygarry Hotel and Spa to future couples looking to get married or any other events.

Amazing venue, Thys, Niall, Padraig and the staff at Ballygarry House work so hard to ensure you have the best wedding day. The scenery for photographs is fabulous. The meal was exceptional. The staff are continuously observing to ensure your guests are being well cared for. They ensure suppliers are fed. As a bride and groom we had nothing to worry about all day as the staff had thought of everything. There is nothing negative to say about this venue. If you book Ballygarry for your special day, you will not be disappointed.

Could not recommend Ballygarry enough. Thys was our wedding coordinator and no ask was too big or too small. His responsiveness was amazing and he really made us feel like we were in safe hands!! If looking to wedd in Kerry this would be the place to go!

Where do I start with Ballygarry House, absolutely amazing from the minute we walked into the hotel two years ago to our wedding day, we dealt with Tadhg and we thought he was so nice and helpful, his advice was second to none! It was our dream day and we could not have chosen a better hotel,staff, rooms, food, spa, all amazing! We had an absolute ball from start to finish..when I piled on all the decor that we had prepared ourselves Tadhg was so helpful and said not to worry he would sort it all out and he delivered! When I saw the way they had everything laid out I was speechless, we got married outside on the grounds of the hotel and the way they had set everything up was amazing, I didn't worry one bit because I trusted all at ballygarry House and it was a dream! Wish we could do it all over again!...

We had the most amazing wedding in the Ballygarry in June 2019. Everything from start to finish was flawless. The service, food, bedrooms were all excellent.
Tadhg was an excellent wedding coordinator and went above and beyond for us. All of the staff there are extremely professional and helpful.
Al of our guests were very impressed with food, its quality, the service and attention to detail.
As a bride, there are many things that I could have been worried about- but knowing we had this hotel booked I had not one moment of stress.
The bedrooms are beautiful. The Spa is gorgeous- as is the jacuzzi.
We could not fault one thing about this hotel- they made our wedding day so memorable!

From the day we met with our wedding coordinator (and one of the 4 managers) Thys, there was no question about where we would celebrate the most special day of our lives. There is a package to suit every couple and plenty options to tailor your own dream day. No matter when I emailed with a question or a crazy idea I would get a reply within hours! The advice given was invaluable and I always knew that if any problems arose or if any last minute changes needed sorting that I was in the very best hands!
The staff went above and beyond at every stage of the weekend! The attention to detail was second to none-The food, the service, the hotel, the spa.....everything was perfect! I can not recommend Ballygarry Hotel and Spa enough.

Couldn't recommend the ballygarry house hotel enough for a wedding. They have a fablouse reception room for pre drink. The main ballroom was decorated fablouse and their food is outstanding. Their waitstaff members were outstanding at their job and very friendly. Thys their wedding coordinator was so helpful any questions, worries or recommendations we had he answered them without delay. Padraig, thys and all the ballygarry staff made us fell very relaxed and special about our day from the very frist day we meet them.

Our wedding day in Ballygarry House Hotel and Spa on January 3rd was the most amazing and memorable day ever. From the day we booked our wedding Thys and the staff went above and beyond the call of duty where no task was too big or two small. We were made to feel like we were the only couple every to get married. Every detail was done to perfection on the day...the meal and service were outstanding our guests are still talking about the dinner. Their experience and expertise is second to none and I could not recommend them more highly if you are looking for that special place to have your Wedding reception. Thank you Thys and your team for truly making our wedding day one of the best days of our lives.

Thank you soooo much! We had an amazing day as did all of our guests. We chose Ballygarry even though we are both from Cork and living in Dublin because the team at Ballygarry are so friendly and professional. We dealt primarily with Thys who is the epitome of calm and is extremely professional. Thys and all of the staff at Ballygarry inspired confidence from the beginning. The quality of the food and service is second to none. We were so relaxed on the day because everything was taken care of in an effortless manner. We especially liked when the bridal party was brought away on their own and served a drink outside whilst all of our guests were taking their seats and ordering, it was a lovely time for us between the drinks reception and the meal. We cannot recommend Ballygarry highly enough, it was a fantastic experience we will always remember.

Being a native Kerry woman, we were always going to get married at Ballygarry House. Their reputation is renowned locally and we just knew if we wanted something that bit extra special Ballygarry was the venue that would deliver.
Our first experience with the hotel was walking in off the street to be meet by Padraig. He talked us through the whole wedding experience and was glad to answer any queries we had. He also showed us around and spent so much time with us. This was how our experience with the hotel was to continue. The staff are so welcoming and no request is too big or too small. Any of the guests that stayed at the hotel for the weekend remarked on the staff and how welcome they were made to feel.
Our wedding co-ordinator Helen took care of every little detail. Her magical diary was brimming over with details and nothing was overlooked. Not surprisingly our day ran so smoothly and everything was accounted for. Padraig, Thys and the staff were amazing all weekend and just seemed to appear out of nowhere every time we looked around.
The food on the day was outstanding with a few of our guests helping themselves to a couple of dinners!! Everyone was so impressed and we have had so many guests remarking on the service for the whole weekend from the bar to the restaurant and the wedding reception to the BBQ.
Once booked couples should really take advantage of the hotels bridal recognition day. We found it fantastic as we were able to meet local suppliers and it also convinced us to definitely go ahead with a day after party and a BBQ in the Pavillion. Just try out those burgers they are mouthwatering!!
It's not just the day or the weekend that's so special it's the whole experience from start to finish We were made to feel as if we were the only couple to ever get married there. From the beginning when we chose Ballygarry House our minds were at ease knowing that everything would be taken care of. Thys went above and beyond to ensure every last detail was taken care of.
Our guests are still talking about the delicious and incredibly generous meal! And the service was impeccable. I've never seen over 150 guests being served at the exact same time and eat each course together. It was unbelievable!
The drinks reception was perfect and guests had the choice of mingling both in and outdoors. Thys gave our bridal party a chance to enjoy a lovely moment together before we went into the meal.
It was the details for us that had us blown away. From giving the bridal party tips on how to enter the room and making sure the microphones were held correctly, each tiny detail that can often be overlooked is taken care of at Ballygarry.
Thys, P?draig and their wonderful team should be so proud of the magical days they give to couples.
They care about each and every guest and my husband is still talking about how lovely it was that they had a plate of gluten free toasties for him later into the night!!
We won't ever begin to thank Thys and the entire team at Ballygarry for giving us the most special day that we'll always treasure!!
