Ballymagarvey Village

Our wedding day was perfect, better than we had ever dreamed it to be. We thank the team at Ballymagarvey for that. In particular, our guests raved about the aesthetic of the venue, the delicious food and the tremendous staff service. Some described it as a “fairytale feel” which is what it felt like to us. We fell in love with Ballymagarvey when we viewed it on a dark rainy evening in December 2021. Luckily we had a sunny wedding day in May which allowed us to use the outdoor amenities but we knew it would be beautiful no matter the weather. This is reassuring when opting for an Irish wedding. The beautiful grounds, the banquet hall, the snug bar and the cosy open fires really sold it for us. There was a great sense of love and togetherness at the wedding which we thank Ballymagarvey’s setting for. Despite having 170 guests, the wedding still felt very intimate. The table planning is well done so that nobody feels isolated. There are good views of the top table for everyone, and equally it is lovely to be able to look around from the top table and see all your guests. This was particularly eloquent during the speeches. As bride and groom, we felt extremely well looked after and connected on our wedding day. Some couples claim not to have seen much of each other on their wedding day but thanks to the staff and set up at Ballymagarvey, we did not feel that was the case. If we needed anything, the staff were one step ahead of us getting us drinks, food, finding phones and handbags. It was the little things that meant a lot. The 30 minutes we had together in the snug bar while the guests gathered for dinner stands out to us and Florin so kindly made us feel cool calm and collected at this part of the day. Our wedding coordinator Celine was a total professional and extremely kind and helpful to deal with from start to finish. Celine was calm and reassuring, super organised, an excellent communicator and generous with her time. We honestly did not feel stressed at any point of the preparation thanks to her seamless planning and coordination. We are lucky to be able to say that having organised a large wedding. In summary, it’s an outstanding review from us, our family and our guests to Ballymagarvey Village. We wish we could do it all over again but we will just reminisce on the wonderful memories we made there instead. Thank you Celine, Florin and all the team x

Ballymagarvey Village is an absolutely magical place. We knew as soon as we first saw it that this was our wedding venue. Our day was perfect. Ballymagarvey Village simply is made for weddings. They have thought of everything that you may need, the planning is easy, the staff are so attentive, the food….WOW and the venue is simply stunning. The staff were so helpful in preparing for the wedding, we had full confidence our day would be amazing. On the wedding day the whole experience was more than we ever could have hoped for. The preparation rooms, ceremony room and reception room were amazing. The food was of the highest quality and the service was impeccable. The whole day was stress free for us and we could enjoy every minute of it.

We had our dream wedding at Ballymagarvey. Everything ran like clock work. We got ready onsite and had out ceremony here also. From the moment we arrived everything was catered for, the staff were amazing! Each part of the day the person in charge of that area would come speak to me and as they were finishing up they would check in with me give me a run down and tell me who I could speak to if I needed anything. It was stress free day from start to finish. Amazing venue and such a beautiful venue there were no need for extra decor. All of my guests have raved about the food and the venue itself. Would 100% recommend!

From start to finish the day was perfect. The bridal prep room was incredible. Very spacious, fabulous food and Lisa was so friendly and helpful. Ballymagarvey is a stunning venue. Delicious food. I have no words. Ballymagarvey is incredible in every aspect. The staff, the food the venue the attention to detail. They go above and Beyond! Hi myself and my husband got married I March 23. I cannot speak highly enough of ballymagarvey Village both venue and staff. Absolutely amazing always 10 steps ahead of you all day. You don't have to worry about a thing. The food is amazing too. I would highly recommend this as a wedding venue for your big day. 10 out of 10. X

I was so impressed with the service that I started looking for incredibly tiny things that we not perfect. So I saw one staff member on her phone for a split second. We also had waited for 3 years and prices kept going up every year, so that’s why value we t down.

We decided on Ballymagarvey village for our wedding after our first viewing and just being blown away by how beautiful and different the venue is to everything else we had seen. It didn’t disappoint, our wedding was absolutely amazing, we had the best day & it could not have run any smoother thanks to the amazing staff at Ballymagarvey - everyone from our wedding coordinator Alana who was great to deal with during all of the planning stages, Lisa on hand during the wedding morning and the whole team on the day, everything ran so smoothly and effortlessly and everyone was so friendly and helpful, we were honestly so happy with the service. All our guests raved about the venue as well and how it was a brilliant day! We couldn’t recommend them Ballymagarvey highly enough!!

We cant say enough about the wedding team at Ballymagarvey Village. From the first contact with Muireann we knew that we were going to be looked after. When we went to see the venue we were blown away from the minute we entered the gates. We just knew Ballymagarvey was for us. Niall was our wedding Co ordinator, an absolute gent and nothing was ever a problem for him. He always responded to emails very quickly and was always available to have a chat if needed. Totally brilliant at his job. The attention to detail was second to none. With Nialls help and guidance we planned the wedding of our dreams. We never thought we could plan a day like it but it was all made as stress free as possible for us and we managed to get exactly what we wanted. All the staff at Ballymagarvey have to be commended. It’s obviously a very well run wedding venue. The staff were always happy and friendly and couldn’t do enough for us. The gardens are well manicured and the venue itself pristine, from the beautiful fires lighting in the cosy Manor House to the fire pits lighting outside in the evening just a beautiful touch. The bedrooms so comfy and warm and well decorated and dressed, spotlessly clean. The food was exquisite. Piping hot and plenty to eat for everyone. Our guests were blown away by the food and some have said they never have experienced a more smooth running dinner service anywhere else. Nobody was left waiting. We could go on for hours describing it but I think it needs to be seen to be fully appreciated. Our day was the perfect day we imagined it would be and we just knew from the start that there would be no problems on the day. Our guests described it as the most beautiful venue and wedding they have ever experienced and we had the most special and magical day of our lives. We had an amazing day at our daughters wedding. Everything from start to finish was perfect. We started with a stress free morning getting ready with Lisa looking after our every need and it continued that way for the entire day. Could not say enough about the staff, the food and the venue. We had a wonderful experience planning our wedding with the team at Ballymagarvey. From the first day we visited the professionalism was top class. No question went unanswered by Celine our wedding coordinator and responses were always very fast. On the day of the wedding everything went super smooth and our guests loved the venue, food and friendly staff. The staff (especially Lisa in the barn) go above and beyond for everyone and made everyone feel right at home. I wish we could do it all over again!!

A fairytale wedding venue Sheer perfection for our wedding at Ballymagarvey Village. Last week we held our wedding at Ballymagarvey Village and to say it was perfection would be an understatement. We booked our date in early 2021 and during that time we were lucky to welcome a son. Our wedding planner Lisa made planning a wedding with a new born baby as easy as possible - even when we were delayed getting information back to her on the lead up. A last minute on the day change to the table plans was not a problem, Lisa was amazing. Planning a wedding is stressful, Ballymagarvey not only is an absolutely stunning venue with attention to detail which is unmatched, but there experience made the day flow We have had so many compliments about the day, here are just some: ‘Bridal getting ready area is genius, way better than some of the rooms at other venues’ The bridal getting ready area is spacious and homely, it set the scene for the relaxed atmosphere at our wedding and was well worth paying extra to have access to it! Massive thank you to Lisa who helped us all through the morning to get ready. ‘The best meal at a wedding I have ever had’ - Delicious food, served piping hot to all the tables with military procession. ‘The banquet hall was like something out of a fairytale’ The reception room is breath taking. My new husband and I were secretly raging we were there to see our guests reactions as they came in - the view through the bar is just stunning. (Suggestion to Ballymagarvey it would be amazing to have a camera there to capture peoples entering - we would have paid to see reactions and comments) ‘Beds are like clouds’ A few of the guests commented that the venues beds was the most comfortable they have ever slept on. A massive thank you all the staff at Ballymagarvey for making it so perfect.

Best Wedding Venue in Ireland by far! Head and shoulders above the rest. The venue is beautiful, the staff are amazing food is out of this world! A day we will never forget.

We got married in your stunning venue on 16th Feb 2023 and from the moment we viewed the venue in 2021 we didn’t want to get married anywhere else! We dealt with Alana from the start and she could not have been more helpful, professional and supportive throughout the process. Indeed any staff member we dealt with while allocating guest rooms and sorting out accommodation were very pleasant and helpful. The venue itself is second to none. From the Manor House with the gorgeous conservatory and kitchen to the cosy rooms within, our guests were treated like royalty from the start and many commented on how delicious and plentiful the reception food was. As we got married over an hour from the venue it was fantastic to have everything ready for when our guests arrived. The banquet hall is incredible! The service at the meal was exceptional and we have to call out the smoky and the sticky toffee pudding in particular - they were delicious!! All the staff made us feel like we were the most important people in the world that day as bride and groom. Everything ran so smoothly without a hitch, and all the guests were hugely impressed by the venue. We couldn’t recommend Ballymagarvey enough and we hope we get invited to another wedding there as guests!

We could not recommend this place more. We had very high hopes and it absolutely exceeded all expectations and more! From the initial planning with our wedding planner Alana we knew we would be well looked after. Her attentiveness, communication and reassurance were 10/10 and she did not leave any stone unturned. There was nothing too much trouble and she went out of her way to ensure we had the best day possible. There was back and forth communication for months prior to the wedding, and Alana always responded in a timely manner with great advice. We cannot sing her praises enough. Onto the day itself. 1: The venue was perfect. We have had numerous comments about the location and the general set up and it blew us away on the day - simply stunning. 2: The staff were unbelievable throughout. From my personal helper Lisa (an absolute gem of a woman who made my wedding morning so stress free and enjoyable), to Greg our event manager on the day (another great addition to Ballymagarvey team) and everyone in between. The service was faultless. Even the dining/wait staff and bar staff were beyond friendly and helpful 3: The food. I have never experienced food of this standard at a wedding before. It was phenomenal. It is possibly the area of the wedding that we have received the most positive comments about - everybody was raving about it. I could write for hours about all of the good things that Ballymagarvey has to offer, but it really needs to be experienced first hand to understand. To anyone that might be reading the reviews and debating whether or not to commit to booking a wedding at this venue, just do it. It simply could not have been any better. It was the best day of our lives.

We didn’t get to see our wedding venue until our actual wedding day but Ballymagarvey village & all of the staff exceeded our expectations. We live in Australia and our wedding coordinator Alana made the whole experience so easy for us and on the day everything ran so smoothly. Myself and my bridal party got ready in ballymagarvey the morning of the wedding and I would 100% recommend doing this. It actually made the day even more special I feel and Lisa who looked after us the morning of, was amazing. I have a 4 month old and she really helped with him and made me feel so relaxed. Ballymagarvey village is so special and in my opinion the most beautiful wedding venue in Ireland. Thank you again to every single person at Ballymagarvey you made our big day that bit more magical.

Absolutely wonderful venue, the staff were attentive and very kind, and we had everything we could have asked for.

The venue and staff were simply amazing on the day. Lisa was amazing on the morning of the wedding who kept us calm. The only feedback I would give is that the heat was too much. Very warm when having our meal. The aisle walking down in the ceremony room also is narrow with the candle stands. Would recommend they be at different location. Other than that we are so glad to have chosen Ballymagarvey as our venue and will always have the fantastic memories. So thank you.

After being a guest at this venue originally I fell in love with it and knew I had to get married here. Fast forward one year and we had our wedding which was absolutely flawless. From the early preparation to the day itself I could not have been more impressed with everyone I had the pleasure of dealing with. No request was too big or too small, every single little detail is looked after and on the day itself everything went so smooth. Communication was next to none and I am so so so happy and privileged that we got to celebrate our big day in this amazing place. Could not recommend Ballymagarvey enough and my only criticism is that the day went by too fast!

From the moment we stepped onto Ballymagarvey we knew it had to be our venue. We dealt with Alana and she was excellent, she gave us advice and nothing was too much. The day on the wedding the atmosphere in the house was amazing, the fires were lite the music was playing in the background. The staff were so attentive, there was plenty of welcome drinks and canapés. All our guests were in awe. We moved to the ballroom and the event manager on the day directed us on exactly what we needed to do. Their was plenty of wine at the meal and all the serving staff were great. The next morning the ladies were serving breakfast which was no easy task with 10 kids, they were amazing nothing was too much trouble. Thank you Alana and all at Ballymagarvey for giving us the most magical day ??

We got married in Ballymagarvey in November 2022, Right from the day we booked the staff where fantastic, From day one Rachel guided us right up to our wedding day. The venue is magnificent and the staff that help run it are out of this world. Couldn’t fault one single staff member everyone goes above and beyond. Special mention to Lisa,Greg, and Anthony that guided us through different parts of the day all were a massive help to us at different points and would do absolutely anything we needed. If the venue alone doesn’t blow your mind the attention to detail and the attentiveness of the staff will. Amazing venue run by amazing people.

My wife and I could not have selected a better venue than Ballymagarvey! First The grounds are amazing and provide a wonderful variety of locations for pictures. All our guests commented on how beautiful Ballymagarvey was, the onsite venue was perfect for our wedding of about 75 guests. The menu for both our Rehearsal dinner (the night before) and the wedding meal were incredible, absolutely the best food we have ever had at a wedding. But any review of Ballymagarvey must include mention of their wonderful staff. The wedding coordinator, Celine, was incredible to work with from our very first conversation, she helped guide our selections and provided wonderful support throughout the planning process. Then once we arrived Florin and his staff were simple incredible and very attentive. Every single person we interacted with from Ballymagarvey was nice and helpful, the removed any stress that might have come from a wedding day.

Ballymagarvey village is a fairytale venue. It is hard to find a venue that ticks every box but Ballymagarvey ticks them all! The precision to detail is out of this world and every inch of the place is manicured to perfection. It's hard to put into words the high standards that Ballymagarvey caters to. The staff are like one big family. Our coordinator Rachel was a joy to deal with, she is so professional that on the day of the wedding she had every t crossed and I dotted it went so smoothly. The coordination of everything is flawless from the seasonal decor and fire pits lighting as guests make their way to the truly amazing banquet hall. Lisa, florin and Greg made sure everything went off without a Hitch. The perfect team and the perfect venue. Ballymagarvey village will blow your guests away and exceed all of your expectations.

We couldn’t fault Ballymagarvey Village for our wedding day, everything was perfect! We had no stress as they ran things so expertly & smoothly and we were made to feel so special by everyone who worked there. We also did a pre day dinner which we would recommend to everyone! Myself and my Husband Stephen got married here on the 27th October 2022. And what can I say. It was absolutely incredible. Lisa our wedding coordinator was amazing from the beginning. We originally had Rachel who was also very good but made a smooth transition to Lisa as the day got closer. Lisa was always able to answer my questions, make me feel relaxed and was very good for advice about the day in the lead up. She was great. Everyone absolutely loved the venue, it was so so beautiful I felt truly lucky to have been able to have got married there. The food was absolutely STUNNING. Everyone, even my family of fussy eaters ate every bit of their meal and couldn't praise it enough. The cocktails at the bar were also 10/10!! The staff were magic. Lisa in the Bridal prep room took care of us all so well, especially myself as I had been unwell in the previous days and did everything to settle my nerves and keep me well on the morning. The breakfast was beautiful in the wedding prep room too! Stephen had a fantastic time in the coach house with the groomsman also. The staff were absolutely fantastic. The bar staff, the night porter, the staff at the reception post ceremony..they were all so kind and helped me and Stephen relax when things felt a bit manic with all the photographs. All I can say is thank you so much I could not have wished for anything better it was an absolute dream. I can't reccomended Ballymagarvey enough and highly reccomend it as an exclusive wedding venue. It was everything we wished for and more. 10/10 !!! My only wish now is that we can go back and visit for another wedding in the future.

Amazing!! From the moment we booked our wedding with Ballymagarvey until the wedding was over it has been an absolutely amazing experience. Niall was our coordinator and he was an absolute dream to deal with no ask was too big for him, he was on top of everything, very quick to respond to any question, fantastic at his job. We had the barn booked for the bridal party to get ready and oh my god Lisa and Adrianna made each and every one of us feel like celebrities. They are two of the nicest ladies and they looked after us so well I actually can't thank them enough. Absolute joy both of them. Florin was our coordinator on the day and my god he had everything run perfectly he was amazing and a joy to deal with. All of the food was absolutely fabulous every single guest has come to me to comment how amazing the food was from the drinks reception to the breakfast the next morning flawless. The venue itself is stunning I have not seen a nicer venue picture perfect and what makes it even better is the staff I can't thank them enough every single staff member was absolutely lovely and so helpful they are a credit to the venue. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left it was the most amazing experience and every guest at our wedding has contacted us to tell us this also. If you want a fairy tale wedding with no stress Ballymagarvey is the place I would do over again if I could. Myself and my partner got married in Ballymagarvey Village in October. It was our dream wedding venue. Venue, food, rooms and staff fantastic in every way. Nothing was a problem. Special mention to Rachel our wedding coordinator, she was so friendly and professional and answered any query we had straight away. This was our third attempt at setting a wedding date due to covid and Rachel was fantastic in this regard. Also special mention to Lisa who looked after myself and my bridal party on the day of our wedding. She provided a 5 star service and was so friendly and so good with our little daughter. Jonathan, our operations manager on the day ensured that everything went off without a hitch and was so professional and friendly. All our guests talked about was how they never knew such a fairytale venue existed. They had high praise for the staff and food as well. We travelled to Ballymagarvey Village from the U.S. along with 65 guests for our October 2022 wedding. The venue was truly unique and unlike anything we could find in the States, with the ceremony, reception, dinner, and lodging all in one place. Our wedding day was actually the first time we saw the venue in person and its beauty absolutely blew us away, from the romantic courtyard grounds to the little details in the rooms and everything in between. Every single staff member that we encountered throughout the day was so friendly and provided exceptional, above-and-beyond service. The staff really makes you feel well taken care of, makes everything run so smoothly, and seem to genuinely enjoy being a part of your special day. Lisa E. was patient and helpful throughout the planning process, Lisa was caring and accommodating during the morning preparations, Jonathan was friendly and helpful throughout the whole day, the bartenders made a memorable impression on our guests, and the dinner and breakfast staff were so polite. The venue is of course beautiful in itself, but the staff are really what make Ballymagarvey a 5-star experience that made us and our guests feel very fancy. All of our guests are still raving about the food and presentation. Many have told us it is the best food that they’ve ever had at a wedding, and some even their favorite meal of their international trips or ever.

Beautiful and intimate wedding venue.

Ballymagarvey Village’s service was out of this world. Their level of communication in the lead up to and during the day was excellent. In particular, Rachel our wedding coordinator always responded very quickly. Everything was set up perfectly on the day as we had arranged. All our guests remarked that the food, accommodation and venue was excellent. I would definitely recommend Ballymagarvey Village. Hopefully we can attend again as a guest soon.

Everything was amazing and went perfectly to plan. I only had one complaint for the 2 days (pre day and day of the wedding). We were doing our wedding pictures and the bar manager interrupted the pictures/video to tell me the bar tab was running low and nearly gone. I would suggest that the best man or someone else is also a point of contact for this also. Besides this one issue above, the day flowed perfectly and everyone was so helpful. I wasn't in the bridal suite (barn) in the morning but the bridal crew couldn't speak highly enough of how good lisa was with helping them get ready and minding the kids. The bridesmaids dress zip broke but Lisa was on the case and got the correct color thread to repair the dress in no time. I gave 4 out of 5 star for the flexibility as we were not allowed to put taytos in the bags we made for the rooms due to previous occurrences of some mess. We were just a small bit upset about this as we had the taytos already purchased but Lisa Egan had informed us it was due to previous occurrences and we complied happily. The one thing I would like to compliant was the execution of the wedding day. It was flawless and I would highly recommend to anyone. We had 2 kids and the help throughout the day just made it so much easier. Thank you Ballymagarvey!

I had booked to get ready at the venue and the room was outstanding the staff were so attentive and the breakfast was outstanding, my family and bridesmaids had the best morning! The ceremony room was decorated beautifully. All of our guests have commented on how the food was the best they had ever had at a wedding. Where do we start!? The whole 2 day event was amazing. From the get go, the staff and venue were amazing! Anything we needed both in the lead up and during the wedding was never a problem. Food was one of the most talked about topics on the day, we were all sincerely blown away with the 5 star restaurant quality food. The whole event was arranged by the most amazing wedding coordinator Niall Smyth, along with the wedding day event manager Greg. They were both unbelievable and went well above and beyond the level of service we expected! We couldn’t recommend a venue or location higher! If you are considering Ballymagarvey as a potential wedding venue, don’t bother looking anywhere else. The general staff were the most pleasant, kind, polite and discrete people, tending to every fine detail in the most particular manner while never being seen but always being available! What a special couple of days that we will never forget and it was down to the all the venue staff making it possible and hassle free!

We had the most amazing day! The place is so beautiful, everywhere you look there’s perfect spots for photos. The food was delicious and the staff were welcoming and attentive. It was the best choice choosing Ballymagarvey. We found the cost of the wedding packages to be very reasonable, the venue required no additional decor/flowers as it was already well decorated, the service of the entire team were extremely professional and attentive, the food served were absolutely delicious and Niall was very attentive and was there every step of the way helping us plan and execute our beautiful wedding. We could not recommend Ballymagarvey enough for your wedding. Our day was above and beyond anything we could have ever hoped for. The staff are truly a credit to the venue. Food was absolutely delicious and all our guests commented on the brilliant accommodation. Niall was our wedding co-ordinator and for the months leading up to our day, he could not have been more helpful or accommodating. On the day, we had Greg looking after us, and we have honestly never experienced service like it. He was always there, ready to do anything for us. One of the day's highlights was when the staff organised for me and my wife to spend a half hour away from everyone in the conservatory, with canapés, champagne and cocktails. Just added such a special touch and allowed us to decompress before dinner. We are now trying to convince family and friends to get married here so we could enjoy the experience all over again as guests! Thank you all so much for making our day so special.

Such a stunning venue. I would give 4 stars for value and flexibility because they were a little difficult throughout COVID to rearrange dates - there was a reluctance on their behalf back in 2020 to allow us to rebook for 2022 ( they were trying to get us to move to a Monday/Tuesday in 2021 off peak times of year from our Saturday midsummer wedding in 2020, which was not what we wanted). We expressed our wish to move to 2022 to allow us to have the wedding we hoped for. In the end, they agreed to rebook to 2022 although we were charged a thousand euro to do so. HOWEVER, that was all COVID related and it was right at the peak of COVID uncertainty for the whole wedding sector so I don't think it will ever apply to future couples. There were literally no other issues with the venue. Everything else was impeccable and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it as a venue to anyone else. The day itself was magical and run faultlessly. The staff are so attentive, friendly and professional. The food was raved about by every guest.

The venue and staff at Ballymagarvey are overall excellent. The grounds are stunning and well maintained. The food and beverages quality was 5* from start to finish. On the day the staff where incredibly obliging and friendly to us and our guests. Constructively, considering the cost, in planning our wedding we where at times surprised by the lack of flexibility. It became apparent during planning that the venue seems to adhere to a copy paste structure for all weddings. Examples; There is no menu tasting offered to bride & groom prior to wedding, onsite ceremonies cannot begin before 15:00, dinner begins at 18:30, cutting the wedding cake happens after dinner indoors. On the day it would have been appreciated to have someone to guide the bridal preparation room with time and schedule information regarding guests arriving onsite, ceremony music beginning, as the bride I was late to walk up the aisle. Our day was fantastic, regardless to the above minor feedback and I would recommend this venue to all future couples. Ballymagarvey was a magical wedding venue and will always be special to myself and my husband.

From the minute we booked Ballymagarvey nothing was an issue and all queries or requests were dealt with very swiftly and professionally by our wedding co-ordinators Lisa and then Alana. On the day of the wedding the Bridal Prep room was used by the bridal party and they can't thank Lisa enough who looked after them all morning going above & beyond. One thing that we weren't made aware of until the day that future couples should know is that the best man had to compère the speeches, as we were under the impression that a member of staff would do that as is the case in any wedding we had previously attended. Thankfully this didn't phase our best man but can see how it would others, so not really a complaint by any means just a heads up. The breakfast in the Barn, the lunch in the Coachhouse, the canapés at the drinks reception, the evening meal and the breakfast the next day were all exceptional and have had many guests commenting on the quality of food & service. All in all we had a truly amazing day and can't thank all the staff enough for helping it all run so smoothly and make the experience something we will never forget.

Myself and my husband had our wedding at Ballymagarvey Village on the 7th July 2022 and wow we were absolutely blown away!! From the start of the day getting ready in the bridal paper room to the banquet Hall we cannot recommend this venue more for a wedding! Our guests were raving about the venue a week later and claimed it was the nicest wedding dinner they ever had. We had a few guests with very specific dietary requirements and the staff were so accommodating throughout the day and night. If we were to marry again we would pick Ballymagarvey Village every single time! Just incredible!!

From the moment we got engaged, we knew we wanted our day to be in Ballymagarvey and they did not disappoint! The communication between myself and my husband and Ballymagarvey from the very beginning to the days after the wedding was so positive and reassuring and I just knew that we were in safe hands. Every single thing on the day was smooth sailing and they even tailored to my specific needs when I found out I was unexpectedly pregnant before the big day! Multiple guests told me that they had been to 5 star hotels and that Ballymagarveys staff exceeded their experiences. The venue is absolutely stunning, the food is amazing and it was honestly like a fairy tale. The accommodation is beautiful and it’s even extra special as you have the whole venue to yourselves and your guests. I 100% recommend and wish I could relive the day again!

There isn't one negative thing I can say about the services we received at Ballymagarvey. From start to finish the entire staff was so helpful and friendly. Alana was the absolute sweetest and was so patient with me during the wedding planning process as I was planning from the US and also planning our first wedding simultaneously that took place in Texas. I'm not sure I could have gotten through the process without her expertise, patience, and kindness. Our guests were also very impressed by the wonderful staff, the accommodations, and overall presentation of the property. Many people came up to us to let us know how fabulous everything was and I even heard that there were audible gasps when entering the drinks reception area. We couldn't have wished for a more perfect venue or experience than the one we received at Ballymagarvey.

What can I say...from the minute we saw the venue to the actual day itself, the experience has been fantastic. Celine our wedding coordinator was an absolute dream to work with! Always professional and no request / question went unanswered. Daniel and I live in the UK and so we organized everything via email or by phone, which was super smooth. Dan and I had the most incredible day, Johnathan and Lisa were on hand always and made us feel so comfortable and relaxed. Our guests are still commenting on how this was the BEST wedding they had ever been too. The venue, the food (filet beef just WOW) the daytime staff, the gardens; it was all perfect. I could not recommend this place enough!

If we were to pick holes, the only deduction is for value as my husband never received food or drinks in his groom's room. Ballymagarvey was the first venue we went to visit and I knew straight away I didn’t need to see anymore, not alone are the grounds and all the buildings and interiors stunning but we honestly couldn’t get over the level of attention to detail and help there was from all members of staff on the lead up and especially on our wedding day! We had a dedicated wedding planner helping us to plan out everything over the months leading up to our wedding and they were so so lovely, kind and helpful to deal with and on the day a dedicated wedding coordinator who was just incredible! She stayed with us throughout the day she was there to take my bag and put it somewhere safe when we were taking photos, she brought us drinks and food during the photos, helped with our 3 and 4 year old boys when they decided they’d had enough and we were trying to settle them she went and got sandwiches for them and ribena that my 3 year old was crying for all while rushing back to hold up my dress as I carried my little boy back to the room, I honestly have never felt so special in my whole life I literally felt like a princess, I know some people may find the price per head on the higher side but for all that’s included it is so so worth it, people are still talking about how amazing the food and drinks were and how the day was so smoothly ran and there was always food and drinks available, I honestly could never have imagined a more perfect venue and day! I would highly advise anyone thinking of booking here to just do it you couldn’t possibly regret it the staff are just second to none, I wish I could do it all over again just so I could go and see all the amazing staff!

From the start Rachel was a pleasure to deal with, we picked the Vintage Lace package and it really did have everything we wanted, from food to drink and decorating the venue. The staff went above and beyond on the day of our wedding and it was noticed by ourselves and our guests. We got so many compliments on how amazing the venue was and our guests said they had never been to such a beautiful venue before. There really isn’t any words to describe the day we had with our family and friends and that was down to Rachel in our planning and Jonathan on the day of our wedding. We felt so comfortable and relaxed on the day and in particular for myself as the bride, Lisa was like a second mam to me, helping me with my dress and keeping me calm. Lisa really made my morning and herself and her colleague couldn’t have done anymore for us. The bridal room to get ready on the morning is a great option. From start to finish, the day was just magical! Our wedding coordinator Alana was responsive, friendly and organised - I don't know what we would have done without her. The day was so well run, and the team behind it were second to none. Huge thanks to Florian, the events coordinator too, who made sure everything happened when it should on the day. From the very start when we viewed Ballymagarvey we knew this was the venue for us. The staff were so attentive and always went the extra mile for us. No request was too much to ask for. Everything ran so smoothly on the day, myself and Sean didn't have to lift a finger and we knew we were in the safest hands. The staff were on the ball at every angle and being an exclusive wedding venue really demonstrates the focus on attention to detail as Ballymagarvey is so experienced in this industry. Our coordinator Niall was amazing. He was so responsive and went through the finer details to ensure we included everything we wanted. He greeted us on the day to again ensure everything was going as planned and assisted in some last minute changes. They have close relationships with suppliers which really helped on the day and again allowed for the smooth running of the day. Right up until checkout, staff were so courteous and accommodating. We didn't want to leave! We cannot wait to visit again. It really is the venue of a lifetime and the best decision we made.

Where do we even start... Ballymagarvey was nothing short of 5 stars on all fronts. They were very flexible and accommodating in the planning stages, and were also very responsive to our queries. They let us come up during any open evening to have a look around the place prior to our wedding. An important thing for us when picking a venue was to ensure that we could get an exclusive venue but which had plenty of accommodation onsite, of which Ballymagarvey does. All members of staff were amazing to deal with, both coming up to the day, on the day and afterwards. Lisa, our coordinator, looked after everything for us, and even held up some umbrellas around me as it began to rain before walking down the aisle! We unfortunately did not get to do a tasting due to covid, but both ourselves and our guests were blown away by the food. The venue is stunning, and you really do get the run of place on your wedding day which is brilliant. We hope we someday get to return to Ballymagarvey as guests at another wedding!! We had our big day at Ballymagarvey on 30th April 2022 and I could not fault them in anyway! Our coordinator Lisa was absolutely amazing and was so responsive and helpful with all my questions. We got so many compliments from so many of our guests at how stunning the venue is and how amazing the food was. The banquet hall would take your breathe away when you walk in ! Everybody seemed to enjoy themselves from the minute they arrived and we certainly had a fab time! Thank you so much to all the team for making our day so special!

We were delighted with our wedding at Ballymagarvey Village and would thoroughly recommend this venue. Our coordinator Niall was excellent throughout the planning process and made sure that every detail was covered. The Bridal Party chose to get ready in the Barn before the ceremony and it was amazing with Lisa on hand to make sure that we were well taken care of. The Mill Loft was perfect for our ceremony and the stunning grounds made the perfect backdrop for wedding photographs. The food was delicious and staff were on hand to make sure that everything ran smoothly (even popping out to get Shloer for some of our guests). We had an amazing day!

After 2 cancellations we finally had our day at Ballymagarvey on 16th April this year. We had the best day, the venue was stunning and the food was simply the best we’ve ever had. Our guests are still talking about it. Everyone had a great day. The team with us on the day were incredible, very accomodating even with our 1 year old son with us. From start to finish we were looked after. I booked the bridal prep room which I would highly recommend. Great way to relax and ease yourself in to the day. We did have a few issues with the bar staff and morning breakfast staff being rude to our guests, I really hope this hasn’t been the case for others as it wasn’t nice feedback to receive after such a great day. On the lead up to the wedding I also had a lot of back and fourth particularly with the reservations team as guest changes and details weren’t being captured or recorded. I also had to chase guests to ask them to confirm rooms after understanding the venue would look after this. We had 4 different event coordinators over the 2/3 years of planning due to covid and people leaving. We really had to keep on top of everything ourselves as we found the communication between teams prior to the day quite poor. But it all worked out in the end and none of that mattered when we got to the day. It was just perfect. If you’re considering Ballymagarvey for your wedding day, you won’t be disappointed. Simply the best.

Nothing was too much hassle and I always felt at ease knowing my day would go smoothly which is a great feeling when you are organising a wedding with several vendors. The day of the wedding was exceptional, the staff are so professional and helpful, they honestly can’t do enough for you. The girl who was in the bridal prep room was amazing, assisting us with breakfast etc, she was brilliant and such a lovely presence on the day. Our wedding manager had the day going so smoothly, everyone was commenting on the dinner service being so professional. I honestly cannot say one negative thing about the lead up, and the day of my wedding thanks to all the professional staff. Other than the service and logistics, the venue itself is stunning, the banquet hall is a show stopper, I was told everyone was amazed walking into the room, the grounds are fabulous and so well kept. I am so proud to have gotten married here!

We found Ballymagarvey Village an absolutely amazing venue for our special day. While planning a wedding is stressful, we would do our day again with them it was that phenomenal! We had an extremely stressful time with COVID, pushing the wedding out, panicking over buying a house and then one of us being in hospital; that was nothing to the venue and the coordinator Alana, and they helped us every step of the way and made the whole processes seem to easy. From arriving in the Barn on the day, both of us and our wedding party were looked after so well, from the food to the extremely helpful staff making us coffees and getting us any bits we needed (iron board and steamer). The wedding coordinator met with us and made sure we had everything sorted that we needed to hand over. We were guided throughout the day on what we were to do and everyone was so friendly I cannot compliment the staff enough! The food in the venue - WOW!!! From the littles bits in the Barn, to the reception food to the main meal, just unbelievable. I only wished I could have had all of the foods at the main meal (beef, chicken and the vegetarian option) as everyone of our guests praised the food throughout the day and the next day. All of our guests said to us that they not only loved the venue, but their rooms, the Manor House, the grounds, the staff and the ambience that it creates. Worth every single penny we spent! And we would do it all again without changing a thing. Our friends have even said that they enjoyed it so much they just want to have a copy and paste of our day for their wedding.

He was so responsive answering our (many!) questions, helping with advice and going out of his way to cater for our every need, as well really understanding what we envisioned for our day and setting up/styling the space better than we could have hoped for! Niall is such a credit to the team there and all future couples will be in very safe hands with him! Every one of the team on the day itself were amazing, they kept everything running smoothly and were so friendly and helpful - the service was truly 5-Star from start to finish. So many of our guests commented on the wow factor Ballymagarvey Village so naturally has, as well as the food and service received, with many saying it’s the best wedding they’ve been to and that’s down to the hard work of the venue and staff who are exceptional at what they do! I don’t know where to even begin with BallyMagarvey Village. Our wedding day felt like a fairytale from start to finish . Nothing was too much trouble . We live in the UK so I was nervous how it would work especially when I was bringing all my wedding flowers and decor over from England . We did everything me and my bridesmaids and I wasn’t sure how this would work but They assisted me at every turn . Celine was our wedding coordinator and she was unbelievable. We had a vision in our heads and she helped us make that a reality . I had the bridal prep room and the morning Lisa was looking after us . She was a dream she organised us all kept everyone chilled topped up with drinks and I don’t know what I would of done with out her , she even carried my dress up to the ceremony room . As soon as we visited Ballymagarvey we just knew it was the venue for us. After long planning with much help from Celine, our wedding took place in March and what a day it was. Everything was perfect and nothing was ever a bother for any staff. Every guest has commented on how great the staff were and also how beautiful the venue is. We only have one issue and its that we can’t go back and do it all over again. The most perfect day for us, thank you so much to you all.

The service myself and wife got soon as we visit the grounds to view on our 1st open night to the day after we got married was top class. The friendly staff that worked throughout the two days and done anything they could to help us and our guests. Can't say one fault for ballymcgarvey. If any of my friends or family are getting married in the near future I will be pushing them towards this venue. Big hats off to Celine also for the work she had put in and the numerous phone calls to get our day on point.

From start to finish, Ballymagarvey Village was the perfect venue. The staff were exceptional and friendly, even throughout COVID postponements and difficulties they were always accommodating and could not have been more helpful, and our day was perfect.

We just got married in Ballymagarvey this week and cannot recommend them enough. The venue itself is spectacular no matter what time of the day, we didn't touch it at all as there was no need. From day one our wedding coordinator Rachel was incredible in helping us make it personal but also sorting any last minute table plan changes due to cancellations. The day couldn't have run smoother, every member of staff was ready to help with any question big or small. Leading up to the day, alot of family advised us to take 30 minutes for ourselves to let it all sink in, Ballymagarvey already had this planned and even saved us some food from the reception. Bottom line, we went with them based on reputation and although it might be slightly pricier then the average...it was worth every cent. Cannot recommend enough

I cannot recommend Ballymagarvey enough as a wedding venue. Lisa, Rachel, Kristina and the whole team could not have been more helpful in the planning of our wedding. We were guided through every step and they responded to all our queries in the most professional way. No stage of the planning process with Ballymagarvey was stressful as we were in communication regularly. Lisa ensured that every detail of our day was organised perfectly. Our guests all commented on how beautiful the food and venue was and also praised all the staff on the day.

From the very beginning nothing was too much too ask. Niall was always a phonecall or email away.. cant rate the staff and facilities highly enough. All guests had a fantastic day and were amazed by the venue. if we where to do it all again we wouldn't change a thing..

Wonderful service. The staff were amazing and couldn't have done more to help us. Niall was a great co-ordinator and was always quick to get back to us about any questions we had. Greg and Florian looked after the running of events on the day and did a remarkable job. All of the bar staff and waiting staff were amazing and always ready to help with anything we needed. (including cleaning makeup from the grooms jacket at one point). The happiest day of our lives.

The whole day was amazing from start to finish. All the staff at Ballymagarvey Village were so helpful and professional. We were made feel so at ease. Lisa was so friendly and helpful in the barn where the girls got ready, would highly recommend the barn. Our guests are still raving about the beautiful venue. I cant recommend this venue enough . It is such a beautiful venue , my wedding guests were blown away . We had both the ceremony and the afters in Ballymagarvey . The staff were so professional , the food was excellent and our whole day was amazing. I didnt need to worry about anything as the staff were on hand to take care of all of our needs. We were absolutely blown away by how well everything was for our wedding day. Every staff member took care of our guests & ourselves so well on the day. Lisa took care of us in the Barn house on arrival that morning & nobody could have wanted for anything such a lovely lady. Jonathan the event manager took over for the rest of the day & he was a pleasure to deal with he was right by our side to help out in any way he could. The service & attention to detail was far above what we had even expected. The food was amazing too & we couldn’t have our tasting due to covid but that did not matter everyone was still talking about the beef & Guinness pie starter the next day. Our wedding coordinator Celine was just super every call, email & change I had to make was not a problem. I will be recommending Ballymagarvey village for years to come. It was fab.

We celebrated our wedding on October 14th 2021, after postponing twice. We fell in love with the venue before we even viewed it, and they far exceeded our expectations on the day of the wedding. The staff, specifically Lisa and Kristina were there for us the entire day, they couldn’t have done anything more to make us feel relaxed and taken care of. Our one minor issue was with the dinner, our band were delayed setting up by about 1.5 hours as dinner service ran over our planned time frame. We’re not entirely sure what caused the delay, but we did have to ask the staff to clear tables so that they could set up. But apart from that, we had an amazing day! The food and wine were also delicious, and the decor, as expected was beautiful.

After 3 rescheduled dates, we finally got to go ahead with our wedding in Ballymagarvey in October. The whole day from start to finish was perfect. Special thanks to Alana and Greg for making everything run so smoothly. We had a ball.

I cannot speak highly enough about the service at Ballymagarvey Village for our wedding this October. They were so patient with us as we chopped and changed our dates because of the pandemic. The were always quick and clear with any correspondence and we felt so prepared in the run up to the big day thanks to our co-ordinator Celine's hard work. I had my morning in the bridal prep area and felt so comfortable and chilled, it felt like we were at home, with a lovely breakfast and lots of space for prep. This was the first venue we viewed for our wedding and knew straight away that nothing would compare to it and booked it straight away. The reception and dinner is delicious, the amazing grounds, the decor in the entire venue, the rooms, the breakfast the next morning, but honestly the staff couldn’t she more helpful. Ballymagarvey Village make what could be a stressful day, the best day of your life. From booking the venue to the last drink on the wedding day, they made the process simple. The food is of the best quality, the service is attentive, the location and grounds speak for themselves. The broucher offers a fairytale and that's exactly what you get. Rachel guided us to the day and Caroline ran the day to precision and made sure every guest was taken care of. The level of care and attention from Rachel and Caroline was faultless. The bar manger ensures the later hours run smoothly and no one goes thirsty. The team at Ballymagarvey Village are superb.

I cannot recommend Ballymagarvey and Rachel (our coordinator) enough. Planning a wedding during a pandemic is very stressful. After postponing our day from 2020, it really meant the world to us that we got our day in 2021. Rachel went above and beyond to ensure we got the most amazing day despite the hurdles and covid restrictions. Nothing was too big an ask. She did her utmost to ensure we had a relaxing and stress free experience right the way through the planning process. She was so prompt and responsive in answering all our calls and emails which were probably more frequent than normal wedding planning given the constant changing trajectory of covid restrictions in the months leading up to the wedding. On the day itself, the staff could not have been more obliging. They made every guest feel so welcomed and special. Their attention to detail and the quality of service is impeccable. Not only did they make myself and my husband feel constantly looked after, they extended this courtesy to all of our guests also, ensuring each person had everything they needed. The quality of the food is second to none. Also the grounds and setting were so beautiful. Many of our guests commented on the standard of the food and everyone thoroughly enjoyed taking photos in the beautiful surroundings. I honestly wish we could do it all again. I can say without a doubt for any future couples, if you are looking for an amazing venue Ballymagarvey will not disappoint.

Ballymagarvey Village exceeded our expectations in every way. We had the best wedding day at this stunning venue. Celine our wedding coordinator and all the staff went above and beyond which we really appreciated (especially in the middle of Covid). They looked after us & all of our guests so well. The food was gorgeous and everything went smoothly on the day. I would happily recommend them to any future couples who are getting married.

ABSOLUTELY STUNNING! We could not have asked for a more helpful or attentive Wedding Venue since the day we first viewed the venue. On our wedding day, our every need was taken care of. Muireann (Wedding Planner), Kristina (Wedding Co-ordinator), Greg (Bar Manager) and Vicki (head table server) were amazing and deserve a special mention. The grounds were meticulously looked after and many of our guests took time the next morning to have a beautiful walk around and admire the scenery. The accommodation was perfect and all our guests were delighted to stay in comfortable and spacious rooms and suites. The food was outstanding from the drinks reception, main meal, buffet and breakfast. Our main meal was the tapas, tomato & chilli soup, fillet of beef or hake and sticky toffee pudding. We would highly recommend all of the above and the service was absolutely fantastic! Overall, I would happily stand at any wedding fair and rave until the cows come home about how amazing this place is! Go see it as you will fall in love with its amazing charm straight away and just have to have it for your special day!! We genuinely couldn’t recommend it more.

TLDR: Lets get married here every year! Rachel, our wedding co-ordinator made the run up to the wedding easy. Everything was organised and all we had to do was enjoy the day. From start to finish the staff were outstanding. All of our guests commented or mentioned to us that they have never seen service so good. Caroline, the manager was always waiting in the wings, supervising or ready to step in if there was anything we needed. The venue itself was decorated amazingly. Everywhere you looked there was a photo opportunity. The Food was cooked to perfection with amazing flavours to all the courses. Bar staff were great throughout the night, even though we put them to the test with many cocktails! Every aspect of Ballymagarvey was outstanding. If only we could get married there every year!

Our wedding day still sometimes feels as if it was a dream! We were told Ballymagarvey would be our home for the day and it was! Even with 25 Guests it was such a magical experience. We didn’t view any other venue. It was the first place we visited and we booked on the spot in early 2020. One of the best decisions we have ever made. The staff were amazing, so attentive and friendly while still being very professional! I really hope we get invited to a wedding here in the near future! Ballymagarvey was an absolutely amazing wedding venue and we would highly recommend it to anyone getting married. Muireann was our coordinater and was extremely helpful and flexible, with everything we asked for. The service on the day of the wedding was brilliant. From the morning of the wedding in the Bridal room, Lisa took such great care of us. The whole day Caroline and Greg couldn't have done anything more for us. They really made sure that we were looked after. Everyone who attended the wedding thought the venue was great and complimented the food, service and grounds. It was simply a 5 star experience. We were taken such good care of and made feel so special on what was an amazing day at an amazing venue. A final shout out to Victor who played a blinder well on into the evening :)

Ballymagarvey was exceptional. We starting planning our wedding well in advance of our original date, about 2 years, when Covid-19 didn't even exist. From initially walking through the doors of one of their viewings the attention to detail was evident. They really are great at what they do. When Covid-19 changed everything Ballymagarvey was excellent, accommodating and above all fair in working with us as restrictions came and went and came back again. In the end we went ahead with 6 guests at our wedding and all of us had an amazing time. For a business that was obviously effected by the pandemic it was great to see the happiness in all the staff at being able to host us, a true sign of a good choice of staff. Our wedding planner Celine could not do enough to help us and we're not sure what we would have done without her. As always the attention to detail was excellent and everyone was just lovely. I would advise anyone I can to go to Ballymagarvey, the whole experience was easy, and I know I mentioned before but I feel they went above and beyond with accommodating us with the uncertainty around Covid-19 restrictions. We loved every minute.

Ballymagarvey will forever be special to us, such a stunning venue. We fell in love with the venue from the very first moment we seen it on the opening night back in 2018, and that was it, we didn't look at any other venues we both knew that was were we wanted to get married. Our original date was ment to be in June 2020 which couldn't go ahead due to covid. I'm not going to lie we had a couple of months of stress, and uncertainty about changing dates, to thoughts of just cancelling altogether. However in the end we decided in the new year that we would go ahead with our wedding on the 17th March no matter what the restrictions would be and we are delighted that we did. we had the most perfect day with are nearest and dearest, the weather and grounds were stunning on the day, food was top class, and are guests couldn't believe how fabulous the venue was , it was so intimate and beautiful. Rachel are wedding coordinator was so lovely to deal with throughout are whole experience, she always got back to us promptly with emails and any queries we had. On the day staff were so friendly and helpful a special mention to Jonathan and also Anthony, who we meet numerous times on are visits up to Ballymagarvey so it was so lovely he was also there on the day. Anyone thinking of booking there wedding here or if yous are undecided about going ahead with your covid wedding, go for it, yous won't regret it.

We piggy-backed on Sinéad's sister's wedding after our original date last August couldn't go ahead due to COVID19 restrictions. To say that Rachel at Ballymagarvey was accommodating is an understatement. Our plans had to change regularly due to evolving government guidelines but Rachel made the entire process as smooth as possible. The event ended up going ahead with 2 couples and 6 guests but we didn't feel for a second on the day that any effort was compromised on the part of the hosts. Met on arrival with champagne, beautiful full fires lit in the gorgeous reception rooms, fantastic staff and bar man (special shout out to Anthony for sourcing a keg of Guinness during a national stout drought). Communication in the run up to the event was always clear and faultless. I can only imagine the complexity of ensuring one bride experiences a perfect wedding day - but Rachel and Ballymagarvey managed to ensure both couples had a day we'll remember forever.

This venue & staff are really the last word in wedding venues. It was the most magical place any of us had every been & all guests all day just would not stop commenting on how everything about Ballymagarvey was unreal. We booked our wedding in a COVID date change & Ballymagarvey pulled everything together for us in 10 days. And it was perfect. The service was the best we’ve had in Ireland & the best team work there. We are trying to convince anyone else we know getting married to choose Ballymagarvey because we want to go back. Couldn’t express enough how much we loved it & they have something extra special going on at Ballymagarvey.

From the moment we set foot in Ballymagarvey Village, we knew it would be the perfect place for our wedding. Every time we visited, the staff was very friendly and welcoming. Celine, our wedding coordinator in the weeks coming up to our wedding, was so helpful and easy to talk to. We had to postpone our original day due to government restrictions and we found them to be very accommodating in making sure our new date was just a wonderful as our original date would have been. We found them to very understanding and as helpful as possible, despite the very difficult situation the entire wedding industry has been in for the last 12 months. Even though we had much smaller numbers than originally planned, we still got the full Ballymagarvey experience. We decided quite close to our day to have a dinner with all of our guests the evening before our wedding, in Ballymagarvey. This was great because it allowed our guests to arrive the day before which eliminated travel on the day of the wedding, and it made the whole event seem more relaxed. The event staff on the day were absolutely superb, particularly Jonathan, Daniel & Lisa. Having your wedding in Ballymagarvey Village is like stepping into a different world for a day and it is definitely a luxury experience. We would be happy to recommend Ballymagarvey Village as a wedding venue.

Incredibly helpful from start to finish during the most difficult time anyone could imagine to plan a wedding. From day 1 they were always so considerate doing the best they could for us in these uncertain times.

We can’t rate the Ballymagarvey Village high enough! From beginning booking and preparations to the day of the wedding all staff involved were absolutely fantastic-nothing was too much trouble. Our wedding was booked for March and was postponed due to lockdown for Covid 19. The Ballymagarvey were extremely flexible with booking alternate dates and our coordinator Lisa was very responsive via email and phone to support us through the stress. We really couldn’t have picked a better venue for our wedding. We were treated like royalty the whole day and all guests were blown away by the beauty of the venue, the service of the staff and the amazing food! Would absolutely recommend to anyone!!

We had a brilliant wedding in Ballmagarvey. A disappointment however on the day was that there was no fire pits(no explanation as to why they weren't on). They were a huge selling point on the open day. A few things were forgotten on the day eg. Sticks with banner were made for end of ceremony, they were given to staff but no where to be seen. Asked staff on the night where the flipglops were we provided? They were located eventually. Slow response from wedding coordinator for some emails. Some rooms had no heating on the night. No refund on guests canceling was disappointing. Otherwise we thoroughly thought it was executed brilliantly.

After looking at a few different venues in the area, we decided on Ballmagarvey Village for our recent wedding, and we are so pleased that we did. Although the weather on the day was pretty horrific, the venue more then made up for it in its presentation, service and facilities. We have had countless comments from guests both on the day and since then, to say how beautiful and magical the venue is, with many saying it was the best wedding venue they have ever been to! Our wedding co-ordinator Lucile always got back to us promptly with any requests we had, and was a pleasure to deal with. On the morning of the day, Shauna and her bridesmaids got ready in the fantastic barn at the venue, and Lisa was on hand to take care of all their needs. Throughout the day, Caroline was extremely attentive and guided us through in such a professional and friendly manner - she always seemed to be available when we needed, including emergency sewing repairs to the wedding dress!! The food and the service was truly exceptional, and again we have had so many positive comments about both. From the moment we went to the open evening, to when we checked out the morning after the wedding, everybody at the venue - from the car park attendant to the bar staff to the accommodation team - have been an absolute pleasure to deal with, and all our questions or requests were carried out with the minimum of fuss. We would have no hesitation in recommending the venue to anyone thinking of booking it, and we really hope we come back some day as guests!

We had our wedding in Ballymagarvey Village on Thursday 20th February 2020. Not only did we have the most amazing experience throughout the day but all our guests made a point of saying how magical the place was. Every aspect of the day was perfectly thought out and the attention to detail in this venue is outstanding. I cant thank our wedding planner Rachel enough for all her help in the planning process. I would also like to thank Caroline and all the other staff on the day of the wedding. Caroline made us feel so special and looks after you so well. The bedrooms are cosy clean and beautifully decorated. The food was the best we have ever eaten and all our guests were full. They commented on the superior quality of the food at the wedding..it was faultless. I would do it all again tomorrow and I cant recommend this wedding venue enough!! X

Outstanding venue and staff from start to finish. Everything went totally smoothly, Lucile was fantastic in helping us plan it all and Oliver expertly managed the day. In particular, his idea to bring us to a separate room for a few minutes to relax before the dinner was hugely appreciated and a real highlight of the day. The menu tasting evening was also a stand-out memory, and very helpful in the planning process. The food was incredible, the bar was well-staffed, and the rooms were perfect. Every guest enjoyed the day and commented on how great the venue and the staff were. We would not change a thing. As we said to Oliver, you even sorted out the weather for us!!

The decor at the venue is just WOW, we didn't need to add anything ourselves as it was all just perfect and provided a stunning backdrop for our wedding photos. The staff on the day really looked after us, they were so professional and everything ran so smooth as a result of this. What I loved the most about Ballymagarvey is the home from home feel, it really is an amazing venue.

We were so pleased with our wedding at Ballymagarvey Village. From our very first contact with the venue we found everyone very helpful, especially Rachel Gantly. The setting and the food is amazing, our guests were in awe. We had a winter wedding which was spectacular and made so special with all the Christmas decoration and the effort everyone makes.

Disgraceful customer service. No refund on deposit despite not being able to cater to original numbers and is being stuck in a foreign country. Less than accomodating when we tried to change date, and wouldn’t offer us same date the following year because they were being kept as back up dates for other couples who had their weddings booked on different days. Would highly recommend looking elsewhere as we did and were much more accomodating and more about the couple than the money unlike Ballymagarvey

Ballymagarvey were an absolute joy to work with from start to finish. They provided so much help and guidance from viewing, planning and the day itself. The minute we walked in we knew it was the venue we wanted. All of our guests loved the beautifully decorated venue, the exceptional food and were well looked after by all of the staff. They went above and beyond what we expected. We cannot recommend Ballymagarvey highly enough. They played a huge part in making sure we had the best day of our lives!

We were told that Ballymagarvey was an amazing venue from a number of sources and it did not disappoint. We were absolutely thrilled with Ballymagarvey as our reception venue. We had a 2 day reception with our guests and we received impeccable care and service. The staff really could not do enough to ensure we and our guests were enjoying ourselves. Guests are still raving about the reception, including the food from both the reception meal and the day 2, the excellent bar staff and the attention to detail to the little things including ensuring our little personal touches were perfectly arranged throughout. The operations team is a well oiled machine and the whole thing went off absolutely perfectly, hats off to Jill and Caroline. Our coordinator Lucile was also excellent and was on hand to find solutions when the accommodation that we were staying prior to the wedding had a hot water problem. Thankfully it was sorted with that host however it was a great comfort knowing that Lucile was there to help, even after hours. One small hiccup we had was turnover of coordinators over the year leading up to our wedding. This did create some mix-ups, for example missing out on food tasting as we were flying in from overseas, HOWEVER my experience immediately before, during and after the wedding day far exceeded my expectations and that's the most important thing. Overall, I would 500% recommend Ballymagarvey Village to anyone. It was a truly magical experience and I really appreciate all the effort that the team put it in to make it so.

All of the staff involved from the open evening right up until the morning after were just exceptional. We always had a wedding coordinator on hand to answer any questions and help out via email and phone. Was guided through the day and the venue looked beautiful. We literally had the best day thanks to all the staff in Ballymagarvey - Amy was our coordinator and she could not have been more helpful. On the day John helped ensure everything ran smoothly and was both a complete professional and wonderfully friendly and easy to be around. Ballymagarvey specialises in weddings , they know exactly what they're doing and it really shows with how easily everything flows but all the staff still seem enthusiastic about your wedding day - I literally have no idea how they do it but it's incredible. Special mention for Joe the barman who was great craic and made fabulous cocktails all night (something a lot of venues won't do).

My Husband and I had our wedding and civil ceremony at Ballymagarvey Village in October 2019. The venue is absolutely beautiful, there are so many picture-perfect locations for photos and the banquet hall is stunning. We attended open evenings in advance of our wedding day to meet with vendors and to work on details, each time we were warmly greeted by John and Oliver who answered all of our queries and were very professional. I got ready at Ballymagarvey with my bridesmaids on the morning of my wedding and Lisa Hewitt was exceptional, she took excellent care of us and went above and beyond to ensure our bridal breakfast and preparation went perfectly. Caroline was our event manager on the day and her kindness, responsiveness, and expertise are just a few things on the long list of reasons she was incredible. The bar and banqueting staff were attentive to every detail and the food was fantastic, Oliver was brilliant and ensured that our top table and all of our guests were happy, he is a credit to Ballymagarvey and really puts your mind at ease with so much happening on the day. I would warn couples to be very clear on the terms with regard to room bookings as they are quite inflexible. We had some very disappointing experiences with the reservations team, as did a number of our guests. We had called on a few occasions to book rooms and to make amendments, One member of staff was incredibly rude and quite defensive, on one occasion she stated that “she knew her job” and refused to cooperate with one of our guests who needed to cancel a booking two weeks in advance of our wedding as their child minding arrangements had fallen through. We were embarrassed to receive feedback like this from friends before our big day and it was a cause of concern for us as other guests were traveling some distance to stay on the night of the wedding. Most upsettingly, a very sentimental item has been lost, a wedding cake knife used by my parents to cut their wedding cake was to be put out for us to cut our own wedding cake. This knife was never put out at the time of the cake cutting, nor has it been recovered since the wedding despite our request to locate it. As my mother had passed away a few years ago, she was not present on the day and the wedding cake knife is still missing, my family are very upset by this. Our wedding coordinator managed the details and timeline for the day but I couldn't help but feel that sometimes we were just another couple passing through, the next morning when I approached her about the missing cake knife she seemed preoccupied with preparations for the next wedding and said she would call me to follow up, she never did.

What an amazing venue can’t recommend it enough. From the time we arrived to when we left the following day we were treated so well, the staff were very attentive to all our guests. The food was mouth watering and every one agreed it was one of the most fantastic meals they had in a long time.

To anyone thinking about choosing this venue think no more and book it. From the venue itself to the staff, my wife and all of our guests had an incredible day and Ballymagarvey had a huge part to play in that. Our wedding planner Amy was fantastic in supporting us organising and the day went so smooth. The banquet hall is simply incredible. Your guests will be blown away. If your trying to put on & have an unforgettable day then I couldn't recommend Ballymagarvey more highly.

My self and Darren had a two day wedding at Ballymagarvey village on September 10th and 11th- 2019. There isn’t any words to describe how amazing this venue is and how fantastic the staff were. From the day we viewed this venue with the lovely Carmel - to the tasting night with joe the Barman and Carmel again -we were blown away! The day itself was just magical- everything had the wow factor! The food was out of this world, the professionalism of the staff and friendliness was amazing. Lisa was so lovely looking after us girls in the bridal room and Oliver was just made for his job! Ann who made our breakfast was a laugh a minute and all the wonderful staff on both days made our wedding day perfect! My guests have said they can’t go to another wedding now as nothing would live up to the experience they had at Ballymagarvey village. Muireann and Rachael will help you plan and aine will handle your reservations of your guests! Most stress free two day wedding ever and if We could do it all again tomorrow ,we would. My self and Darren got married here on 10-09-19. We had a 2 day wedding and I can honestly say it was the most incredible two days of our lives. The staff couldn’t be better - from the “initial” tour on the open night with Carmel, then our tasting night - again Carmel and joe made it so much fun, and our wedding day. Lisa was just the best , we can’t say enough about everyone working there as you are all just amazing. The venue was a fairy tale, we wanted for nothing and we Would do it all again in a heartbeat. We cannot thank you enough and can’t recommend this venue enough to future brides and grooms. Don’t even think twice!

Ballymagarvey was an excellent wedding venue. From Booking to the wedding our wedding planner lisa was always on hand to answer any questions and organise things for us both. On the big day, we felt like royalty. The staff were extremely accommodating and the organisation went off with little fuss and without a hitch. Oliver, Lisa and victor made our day fabulous. The food was excellently served and tasted amazing and the breakfast the day after was fab. Our guests reported after that they felt very welcomed by ballymagarvey; nothing was too much trouble; and the venue was certainly top of the list compared to other weddings they had been to. From the moment we went to view ballymcgarvey village ..it was magical ..we feel in love stright away ..we knew there was no were else for us .. We arrived to early that day but wasnt a problem , were showing around by one of the housing staf and she was amazing natural funny and new her stuff ...as i say ballymcgarvey sales itself .i would love this job lol as no sale pitch r gimicks needed..... roll on to 18mths later.and everything was a dream..dream day in dream location .by dream staff. I just turned up and it ran like clock work .. staf from arrival to coordinator. To bar, waitress staf ...every singel one of them went above and beyond the duties..very comfortable atmosphere made... Leaven us with d most magical day .in the most magical surroundings.. Having worked in the wedding industry for the past 5 years, I have visited nearly every wedding venue in Ireland, but Ballymagarvey Village has always stood out for me. So when we got engaged, I knew straight away where I wanted to celebrate our special day! Within minutes of stepping into the Manor House on our first visit, Keith was 100% in agreement. From the very start, our wedding co-ordinator Rachel couldn't have been more helpful and as we got closer to the big day, she only got better. Nothing was ever an issue. Our menu tasting evening was such a lovely night. We brought both sets of parents and stayed in one of the lovely cottages on site. It really got us all so excited for the wedding day. On the day of the wedding, every member of staff were so helpful and friendly. We felt so well looked after. Ballymagarvey is such a stunning venue. Around every corner is another beautiful location. The Manor House provides such a warm, comfortable & homely feel to your drinks reception while the Banquet Hall is like walking into a real life fairy tale! The food is amazing. Every one of our guests commented on how delicious it was, many stating it was the best wedding meal they have ever had. We had such an amazing wedding day at Ballymagarvey Village, if only we could do it all over again!

All the staff are hands down amazing it made organising a wedding from overseas so easy. The venue its self is out of this world everything we wanted and more can not fault it. Everything was perfect and we couldn’t be happier we choose such an amazing place to host our special day.

There were a few hickups in the run up to the wedding but the staff always worked to find a solution. We had a fantastic wedding in Ballymagarvey Village. I would recommend to a friend. It is expensive but worth it for the overall experience and food. The service on the day and the wedding co-ordinator were exceptional.

The whole Ballymagarvey team was very supportive from the moment I arrived to the Bridal Suite. They provided us with the highest service we could imagine. As we only booked the venue 9 months prior Our Big Day we were in constant correspondence with our Wedding coordinator Rachel Gantly who we would like to say special thank to her very professional work. Eventually We would like to express our appreciation to John who even made us forget about the rain. ( which later cleared out)and served us all night in a very professionial, gentle, and thoughtful manner.Thanks John and Rachel! We wouldn't like to forget about the whole team who with their hard work helped us to select the best menu for our lovely friends and family. This venue is so incredible and beautiful.When we first viewed here it took our breath away and no other venue we viewed compared to the ballymagarvey. From the minute we booked our wedding we received the most amazing professional help with planning the big day. Each time we visited the ballymagarvey we were greeted with a warm welcome from Vincent and all the staff.The wedding day was set up just perfect and exactly how we planned thanks to Rachel and john. The staff at the ballymagarvey went above and beyond for us and all our guests. Everyone was blown away by the amazing service they received right up until breakfast the next morning. The food was just delicious and our guests are still talking about it. It really is such a magical and fairytale venue to have your special day.

From the moment we stepped foot for the first time in this venue to the day after our wedding in Ballymagarvey, the staff has been nothing but helpful and resourceful. Not one thing went wrong and even if it did, Jill or Rachel or any other member of staff would have found a way to fix it. Ballymagarvey was the most incredible venue that my wife and I had ever seen or been at. I want to first start out by saying that our wedding was a destination wedding from New York. Most people thought we were crazy to get married in another country as the logistics of the wedding are that much more difficult. Rachel, our wedding coordinator, was an absolute pleasure to work with. She was beyond accommodating and made it much easier for my wife and I to actually pull off this wedding. She was responsive, helpful and a true professional. She keep up with due dates and would respond within a more than reasonable time with every email or question we had. The venue on the day of the wedding was immaculate. The cleanliness and the attention to detail was second to none. The staff the day of the wedding were efficient and really took care of us every step of the way. We want to give a special shout out to John, the operations manager, and Lisa, who attended to the girls in the bridal suite, who both really created a perfect atmosphere and took all the stress of the day away. Lisa’s attention and kindness made us feel like we were on vacation and John was there every step of the way and ran a perfect ceremony/reception. Our guests the day of the wedding and days after were raving about the place, the food and couldn’t get over how magical the venue and wedding was. One of our guests said, “this was the wedding of the century”. Molly (my wife) and I truly felt the same way. Our family and friends couldn’t have had a better time and we couldn’t thank Ballymagarvey enough! If we could give this place 100 stars we would! This venue was nothing short of amazing. This was a dream come true and an actual fairytale. Katie Curran was amazing and John the evening manager helped make this all possible. I would get married here again and again. It’s stunning and the food was amazing. Everyone cannot stop talking about the carrot ginger lemon soup!!! The most beautiful wedding venue anyone could image, from our first visit to Ballymagarvey we were totally inlove with the place and couldnt wait to share it with our family & friends, as for the personal service and wonderful food it was second to none. Perfect. We were treated so specially from day 1 right up to our wonderful wedding day.

From the open evening through to the wedding day Ballymagarvey were a cut above every other venue we saw. The staff are so courteous and helpful, the venue itself is stunning and meant we didn’t have to leave our guests for too long for photos as everything is on site. The recently renovated Ceremony Room in the Mill Loft was stunning. Special thanks to Rachel and Oliver for looking after us.

Lisa and all the staff were brilliant on the day and the months leading up to the wedding. They made everything so easy and were quick with responses, which was great as we were planning from overseas. The venue itself is gorgeous and is fully decorated already. The service is amazing, the venue is magical, literally the only thing letting it down is the amount of things that went missing in the chaos as you are booted out the door the day after so that another wedding can come in. Leave a bitter aftertaste on an otherwise perfect day. Also the Osborne room doesn’t lock from the outside so bride and grooms room (with wedding cards inside) is open to anyone all day and all night!

We booked Ballymagarvey after viewing it in November 2017. We walked in and fell in love, and it was in the process of being cleaned at the time! The venue itself is just unbelievable. It’s breathtaking. The staff are incredible. So attentive and professional, but so friendly too! We just couldn’t have wished for better. You made our day so magical and memorable and we are very grateful. Lisa who helped me get ready in the bridal room was amazing. There was nothing she wouldn’t do for me and she was just lovely. Daniel looked after us both all day, he was incredible. He was here there and everywhere making sure we had all we needed. Rachel helped us from start to finish and I couldn’t have planned it without her. The whole team were unbelievable. There isn’t a better venue out there to have your wedding at. Myself and Andrew got married at Ballymagarvey village on Sunday. We had such an amazing day!! Our wedding coordinator Lisa was incredible and organised the day from start to finish for us! Our guests had a great time and the most talked about thing is the amazing staff and how brilliant they were. Another lady Lisa who was in the bridal prep area on the morning went out of her way to do everything she could for us and throughout the day she was so helpful and amazing. Caroline also was so kind and kept checking up with us making sure everything was going well. We really had the best day of our lives at Ballymagarvey village!!! I dont know where to start with ballymagarvey! If you are looking for a fairytale wedding then this is the spot!Brianan our wedding co-ordinator was so helpful and friendly and supported us through every question and query throughout the year of planning.It isnt the best value for money but it is absolutely worth it! The food on the day was beautiful and everything ran seamlessly. In particular Lisa was brillant on the morning of the wedding,making us all cups of tea and coffee and making sure we had everything we needed! Amanda the morning after the wedding was so lovely, knowing we were a bit worse for wear, she made sure we had our breakfast out straight away and plenty of tea, she really looked after us!!! John was absolutely fantastic too, making sure everything went smoothly on the day, we had great crack with him before and during the cermony and he couldnt had done enough for us,he was so easy to be around! Its things like this that really makes a differnece to your day. The room is breath taking!! I have never seen anything like it. Its worth spending that bit extra to have these incredible memories, Ballymagarvey really is the dream!

Our wedding day in Ballymagarvey Village was perfect. The warm welcome we received in the Manor House on our arrival was only the start of a beautiful evening in Ballymagarvey. The attention to detail at the drinks reception and the banquet hall was superb. Our guests were so impressed with the food, friendly service and gorgeous decor. We were so thrilled with our choice of Ballymagarvey and really did have the best day. Our co ordinator Rachel Gantly was extremely helpful during the planning process and was a pleasure to deal with. Daniel and Amanda looked after us on our big day and couldn't have done enough for us. They were so attentive and really made us feel special. Our guests are still commenting on the friendliness and helpfulness of every staff member. The food and wine served for our meal were amazing and we are still hearing about how impressed guests were with their meal. It made us so happy that our guests were really enjoying themselves. I just wish we could do it all over again!

We can not speak highly enough of Ballymagarvey Village. We had an absolute blast! From the first email to check out we and our guests were met with nothing but kindness, fun and professionalism. To say they exceeded our expectations is a total understatement. Each member of the team in their own way went above and beyond to ensure we had a fantastic wedding day. Brianan really helped us plan the day to perfection, on the day she was there to set up and check in and keep us sane. Daniel worked with us on the day too, he checked in with us throughout the morning and kept the bridal party on the straight and narrow going up the ailse. He had great advice and was great for a chat to calm the nerves.. He was on hand all evening and ensured we were all looked after. I got ready in Ballymagarvey, Lisa in the bridal prep room looked after us so well from start to finish. She kept us fed and watered and made us feel so at ease and at home, we so enjoyed her company during the morning.. The waiters and bar staff were brilliant, so professional and so happy.. everyone was in such good form.. I think the guests were feeding off all the positive energy... Ballymagarvey made us feel like the most special couple in the world... Hands down the best day ever. We had the most memorable day.

When we attending an opening evening we were blown away! absolutely amazing venue. The food was out of this world and the staff could not do more than enough to help. Rachel was our wedding co-ordinator and was a dream to have. John was our ops manager on the day and always made us laugh and made sure everything went smoothly. To say that our day in Ballymagarvey was perfect was an understatement. The day was organised like clockwork. Everyone was really helpful and efficient at guiding us through the day. They were happy to set up any extra touches that we wanted for our day. Our wedding coordinator (Lisa) and operations manager (John) were always available to us and showed a genuine interest in making sure our day went perfectly. The food was fantastic with many guests complimenting it afterwards, and drinks were plentiful. The banquet hall was absolutely stunning and the synchronised service during the meal was so impressive. Food allergies were catered for really well. The waiters were extremely attentive and the waiter who showed us around at our viewing was there on the day too(Amanda)and she really looked after us which added a lovely personal feel to the day. The venue is beautifully maintained and there are so many pretty spots for photographs. The whole day was seamless and I would recommend this venue to anyone, it was the most wonderful day!

You could not find a better venue than Ballymagarvey. From the second we arrived we knew that was where we wanted to get married, it is stunning and the dinner room is just the most amazing room you will ever see. The food is superb with a huge amount of choice! The staff here are second to none, they could not do enough for you and that extends to every single member of staff. I still get compliments from any guest I speak to on how amazing the venue was with pretty much everyone agreeing it was the nicest they had ever been to! I really recommend Ballymagarvey to anyone, you will not regret it!

I cannot give Ballymagarvey a high enough rating! They think of everything and make the planning process easy and stress-free. Honestly, we hadn't a clue about organising a wedding and they guided us through the whole thing with friendliness at all times. On the day of our wedding, they made us feel so special and had absolutely everything covered. We had a truly amazing time, and so did our guests. One of the goals we had for our wedding was that our guests would have a fun day - and they really, really did! They could not stop complimenting everything about Ballymagarvey - the team, the food, the venue, and all the wonderful little details that make Ballymagarvey so magic.

Words cannot describe how incredibly amazing this venue is and their staff !!! From start to finish we were treated like royalty and the staff didn’t miss a trick , they were so observant and noticed I didn’t drink wine & got me an alternative drink of my choice without me even asking, amazing !! Our guests are still talking about the venue & food a week on from our wedding as they just could not get over it. We dealt with Lisa from the start and Lisa is such a smiley, bubbly, friendly person and no ask was ever too big. We also dealt with Caroline who was like a friend you new a lifetime . Such a lady ! Caroline also helped me with my dress in the evening when my bridesmaids were struggling to pin it up and we had a great giggle . We couldn’t find a flaw even if we tried !! On 21st November 2018 my wife Emma and I had our wedding reception in Ballymagarvey Village and what an exceptional out of this world experience the management and staff of this venue give to us. Throughout the planning process Lisa Egan, our wedding coordinator was just fantastic, an asset to any wedding venue. Her level of professionalism, attention to detail and overall assistance was somewhat amazing. Ballymagarvey Village as a venue is something we could only describe as a real life fairytale venue. Our first question when selecting this venue was when do the Xmas decorations go up, and on our big day the requested decor did not disappoint. The attention to detail this venue considers when decorating their venue for this time of year is magical. On the day of the wedding the service from the staff, from the receptionists, to the kitchen staff, to the waiters/waitresses/bar staff was just extraordinary, again the staff here at Ballymagarvey showed nothing but 100% professionalism and provided an exception service to us and all our guests. Another special shout out to Caroline our wedding manager on the day. This lady went out of her way, over and beyond her call of duty to assist Emma and I. She made us feel so important and her attention to detail was also exceptional. Ballymagarvey is the definition of exceptional service, and any couple lucky enough to have their wedding at Ballymagarvey Village will not be disappointed. We got married over two days in Ballymagarvey and the entire time there was flawless! We got married on site in their beautiful exposed stone ceremony room and so made use of 'the Barn' for the bride and bridal party to get ready and 'the Coach House' for the guys. Lisa in the Barn was especially accommodating and helpful all morning with no favour too big to ask! Our reception drinks in the Manor house felt like a big family gathering and there was always a staff member within reach to offer food, drinks or answer any questions. The food at dinner was incredible and we have had many guests compliment the food, wine and service. Caroline and John helped to co-ordinate our day and introduced themselves to us during the morning. They seemed to check up on us and the running of the day frequently and we always felt like we could call on them for anything. In fact, after dinner we availed of John's expertise in the area of wedding dress design and he removed the sleeves from my dress so I could be more comfortable on the dance floor! The second day was as spectacular as the first from the breakfast being cooked in the manor house kitchen to the amazing afternoon tea to Joe serving us drinks til the bitter end in the Snug bar. The night of our wedding we missed the rugby which was the (now famous) day we beat the All Blacks. Caroline was amazing and organised a projector in the main bar for us to watch it alongside our family and friends on the Sunday evening! We couldn't recommend the place more and we are so happy to have chosen Ballymagarvey and delighted with the happy memories we have made there!

We were delighted with our day and all the team involved. All our guests were so happy to experience the venue. Our only concern was we were briefly dealing with a lady who was extremely unresponsive to email and calls which was stressful as we felt it was not the standard we had seen throughout our time dealing with the fantastic team. As above is correct 100%, the venue, the service from ALL the staff was impeccable, ALL of our guests could not praise the venue highly enough and nothing was too much trouble for the staff, the food was cooked to perfection everyone said so. i am from Yorkshire originally and we have a terrible name for being tight... you got exactly what you paid for... top quality and for what you got it was well worth every penny. we are so hoping some of our friends might get married there so we could enjoy it again. positively Perfect.... we are still talking about it.

Ballymagarvey Village has a very experienced team. They are very helpful and responsive and we have been delighted by the quality of service during our big day.

The entire team at Ballymagarvey are a pleasure to work with. Always very quick to respond to emails and on the day they were very attentive and professional. I couldn't give a full 5/5 for their flexibility due to the certain terms and conditions that have to be respected by the couple (no confetti or glow sticks that kind of small thing) but their reasons for each stipulation are understandable. Likewise for value they are very up front about the fact that there is no bargaining so I can't complain but it's always nice to feel like something could be thrown in as a little extra.

Ballymagarvey was an amazing venue. We couldn't have been happier to have our wedding there, service was 5 star quality and our guests from home and abroad couldn't get over how beautiful the setting was and how well they were looked after. A little bit on the expensive side but overall it was worth the money!

Myself and Aoife were due to get married in Ballymagarvey on Match 3rd 2018. We were so impressed with their grounds, their staff and food that we really couldn't wait to experience it all with our family and friends. Unfortunately that week there was a snow storm which failed to clear in time for our day resulting in us having to cancel and reschedule our wedding the day before. As you can imagine it was a busy, stressful and extraordinary situation for both ourselves and Ballymagarvey. Luckily, with the help of Lisa Egan, we managed to rearrange a date for May 7th and had the best and sunniest day of our lives! We had so many comments about how amazing the place looked, how delicious the food was and how helpful and friendly the staff were, from our impressed friends and family. We couldn't recommend Ballymagarvey higher and look forward to one day returning.

The venue is stunning and well looked after by a dedicated and passionate team. Sean and I had a blast celebrating our wedding at Ballymagarvey - and we planned it from afar - from Sydney Australia! Lisa our Account Manager/liaion from the viewing to booking, to the planning handled all our random enquiries and niggly questions from afar over email and skype. She noted all the small details and it was great to actually see her on the big day too! As an Event Producer myself I was extremely happy with the service and attention to detail. Caroline (Ops Manager on the day) was professional, personable and understood just what we needed when we needed it. She along with our celebrant leads us through the day, put us an ease. I will never forget... when cutting the three tier cake... cut the middle tear - thanks Caroline!! :) It was also great to get feedback from other staff the following day saying how much they enjoyed themselves too... the joy and love rubbed off on everyone! :) It's great to see people doing what they love. Thanks so much to everyone who made the day (and the following day) so amazing for us and out guests... half of whom flew from across the world to be there with us. So very happy with Ballymagarvey... will always be a special place for Sean and I. Cheers!!

Ballymagarvey were incredible to us and helped us have the best day we could have asked for. We looked around a few places with similar look and feels but Ballymagarvey were far better in terms of value for money and hospitality. We had our wedding in Ballymagarvey this year and it was just incredible. I would love to be back there again. I cannot thank all the amazing staff, especially Caroline. They were incredible and thought of everything and helped us in everyway. It is such an amazing place and we fell in love with it the second we laid eyes on it. It was just perfect.

I cannot rate Ballymagarvey Village highly enough. The staff were amazing throughout the whole process, nothing was ever an issue and I had some mad requests! I was looked after so well on the day and they really make sure everything goes to plan and all family and guests have the best day ever. The rooms are all beautiful, the food was amazing and the only way to describe the atmosphere was magical.

I loved my wedding day at Ballymagarvey. It was the only venue we went to visit as we were happy that it ticked all the boxes from first viewing. It is a gorgeous venue and I highly recommend it. Where I do think it falls down though is that it’s really inflexible. Before I booked my friend compared it to a conveyer belt for weddings... which is exactly what it is. Any request we had was hit with a hard no. In saying that they are excellent at what they do so the approach is obviously working!

Ballymagarvey Village is the most stunning wedding venue. I am so happy we chose to get married there. We had ceremony and reception at the venue. Everything went smoothly on the day from preparation right through to the last dance. The staff are exceptional - very professional and the attention to detail is second to none! I was in awe even watching them as they served the meal. In planning the wedding, our wedding co ordinator Lisa Egan was just brilliant. She was quick to respond to any questions I had. She was there on the day also and had the reception room checked over and put our favours out. Nothing was a problem to her. Initially when we first attended the open evenings I felt the venue wasn't very flexible with the packages such as what we could have for the canapes during the drinks reception but we were able to add to the package which was great and there was flexibility with the menu so we were able to have exactly what we wanted. Regarding value - when we first looked at Ballymagarvey Village as an option for our wedding, I thought it would be way out of our budget. Yes, for a summer wedding it was but they also offer a cheaper package for January and February. It probably wouldn't have been my first choice to get married at this time of year but to get married in Ballymagarvey Village I really didn't mind when - it just had to happen there! And for a cold winters day, Ballymagarvey Village was the perfect homely venue for us and our guests to enjoy. I have had so many of our guests compliment our wedding and so many who had never heard of Ballymagarvey Village cannot stop talking about it now. I could not recommend Ballymagarvey Village enough!

Ballymagarvey Village was a dream wedding come true. We planned every detail of the whole day from abroad, yet the wedding coordinators were so incredible that it went so smoothly on the day! The grounds were gorgeous, our guests loved staying in all the unique rooms on the property, and we loved being able to utilize the entire property exclusively. We had a woman in the bridal suite all morning to help us with anything we needed and she provided us coffee and tea all morning. We then had John, who made sure everyone was on time and in the right place all day long. He even fluffed my dress up just before I walked down the aisle - he was a star! The attention to detail from the staff was impeccable, the service incredible, the food SO delicious and the venue so gorgeous. I have only positive things to say about the entire experience! Thank you again!

The team are so professional and they leave no stone unturned to ensure the day is enjoyable for couple and guests. The venue itself is stunning and needs very little additional decoration/flowers but of course you can put your own stamp on it. If I could I would do it all over again...love love love this venue!!

Had the most amazing wedding day at Ballymagarvey Village. It is a stunning venue with photo opportunities everywhere! The staff were so friendly and helpful and the the food was delicious. All of our guests commented on the excellent service and presentation of the dinner. What we loved about Ballymagarvey was that it felt like our home that day and night.

We recently got married at Ballymagarvey village and to say it was the perfect day is an understatement. I arrived at half eight in the morning in the purposely built prep room which created a stress free environment which set me up perfectly for the day ahead. On arrival my bridal party was met by Shauna who was on hand to not only look after any needs we may have had but also was extremely friendly and professional. She personified the level of care we received from all staff throughout the day. The grounds were magnificent and the attention to detail blew us away. We didn't have to worry about anything thanks to the great planning of our wedding coordinator Muireann and we were guided calmly through the day by Caroline who was wonderful. We had a civil ceremony and the room was beautiful and beautifully decorated. We were lucky to get a bit of time at the reception after our photographs and it was perfect. Our friends and family really enjoyed the setting and the snug bar was great. I even got to pull a pint of Guinness for my new husband. After this we were given a few minutes just to ourselves before dinner which was lovely. Dinner was brilliantly presented and efficiently served which left no one waiting. The food was delicious and was commented on by all our guests. We had enjoyed the food tasting before but the dinner on the day was even better. The bar was great and the staff again fantastic. Everyone was nice and relaxed by the end of the day. We only got about four hours in the room but it's exactly what you'd expect from a venue like this, luxurious and comfortable. Breakfast the following day was delicious and there was plenty of choice with something for everyone. This is a five out of five venue. We gave four stars for flexibility out of honesty. They have a formula that works very well and obviously like to stick to it. But any time we had anything we wanted or had any difficulties they did everything to accommodate us. We had as stress free a wedding as I think anyone could have both for planning and on the day and we couldn't have been happier with our day.

Ballymagarvey Village is a phenomenal wedding venue. Eimear, our wedding coordinator, made sure we were happy with every detail in the run up to the big day and answered any questions we had in no time. From the moment we walked in there on the day of our wedding, everything was taken care of. Not only is it magnificent to look at (the banquet hall is out of this world) but the staff are the most attentive, professional and caring we have ever come across. Couldn’t praise Ballymagarvey enough. As a mother of two small kids I didn’t have the time to plan every aspect of the wedding in the detail I might have liked. Ballymagarvey took care of everything. Our wedding was seamless. We had a fabulous day and all of our guests remarked on how beautiful the venue is and how welcome they were made feel.

Had an unbelievable wedding weekend in Ballymagarvey in January. We chose off peak month so that we could avail of Day-2 package and were delighted we did. Essentially it felt like our own home for the weekend and all of our guests commented on how relaxed and friendly the atmosphere was. My 99year old grandmother was treated like the Queen for the weekend by the staff who were so kind to her. Our nieces and nephews had loads of fun exploring the grounds and were happy too! Everyone was so professional, our every whim was attended to. We cannot praise the staff enough - so impressive. Food was sensational. Setting was beautiful - got gorgeous photos on the grounds. Cannot find a single fault from start to finish - would recommend Ballymagarvey in a heartbeat!

From the beginning of our day at Ballymagarvey the staff were so attentive that my wife and I felt totally stress free. Every one of our guests, without fail, commented on their professionalism and courtesy. From our arrival, through dinner to the after party nothing was too much trouble. Obviously the village and surrounding grounds are magnificent and I wouldn't hesitate in using that word to describe the staff as well. I would recommend the venue in a heartbeat for the whole experience especially the organisation, the meal - which was outstanding - and even before our big day our wedding planner Niamh, who kept in regular contact, addressing even our smallest concerns in a timely manner.

We were recommended Ballymagarvey Village by a friend who had attended weddings there before. On first glance we were hooked, it's layout and relaxing setting was exactly what we were looking for. Our big day was the day after the Christmas lights went up and it was fantastic, a wonderland of graceful elegance. From the onset the staff have to be truly commended for all the work the put in order to have the day run smoothly, you wouldn't even notice them. We just let them do there thing and it was great. I have to thank Muireann our wedding co-coordinator who was always on hand to answer any queries or request we had. Also to John who made sure we were looked after all day. I cannot recommend this place enough as a location for the best day in your life especially if getting married there as well. From the moment we arrived at Ballymagarvey on our first visit for an open evening, we were blown away. Everyone was so friendly and professional, we knew this was the venue for us. We quickly reserved our date and got planning. From the start we were helped along the way by the amazing Veronica; nothing was too big an ask for her. As the day approached, Veronica was as excited as we were which made the day seem even more special. We had a Bridal Breakfast on the morning of the wedding in the most beautiful room which was ours to use as we pleased. We arrived in our PJ's and relaxed drinking Champagne, eating the most amazing breakfast provided by the in-house chef, and having our hair and make-up done by my glam squad. We then moved over to the main house to get dressed before the ceremony. As we are not religious, we opted for a Humanist ceremony which was so personal to us and which Ballymagarvey led itself so well to. We then moved over to the main house for drinks and canapé's and our guests loved the homely feel of the main house. Dinner was called at 5.30pm and everyone was again taken away by the beauty of the banquet hall. Fairy lights, trees and exposed brick led themselves to our rustic wedding, and everyone commented how beautiful the room was. All of our guests commented how beautiful the venue was and the food and service was amazing. Mary helped us on the night, she was there for anything we needed but her entire team are so professional, everything went without incident. I can't recommend them enough, we had the most enjoyable wedding, as a Bride it can be very stressful planning a wedding and I was doing it from London, but Veronica and Mary made the process so easy, and I didn't have to worry about anything on the day, they looked after all the details for me. I wish I could do it all over again xx

We fell in love with Ballymagarvey as soon as we set foot in it. It truly is such a magical place. The staff, the setting, the food, the value for money - everything was 100% leading up to the day and on the day itself. Special shout out to Eimear, John and Ellie - true treasures!! All our guests are still raving about our big day. We had a second day there too, and it was just as much fun! We had an absolute ball and if you want a stress free wedding that will blow your guests away, then chose Ballymagarvey!!

We knew from the moment we went to view Ballymagarvy Village that there was nowhere else we would even consider for our Wedding Day. Our Wedding Co Ordinator was Mary Troy who went above and beyond to make sure every detail & everything we asked for was done to perfection on the day. I booked the newly furnished Bridal Prep room to get ready in the morning of the Wedding, it was fantastic, when I arrived that morning, breakfast was prepared & waiting for us, my make up artist & hairdresser were set up & ready to go. The morning flowed brilliantly, no hassle or stress, I would highly recommend any bride to avail of this facility. Our Cermony was at 3pm in the Beautiful setting of the Loft Cermony room, it's just stunning, private, & exactly what we wanted, decorated beautifully with flowers from Arbour Blooms, Ballymagarvy's recommend florists, they did a marvellous job. Our drinks reception just flowed brilliantly, & so did the drinks & canapé service, the staff here were just amazing, we were allowed download our favourite songs & play them in the back round which really made our reception more personal to us, & also we had our speeches in the Manor House before our dinner, making the day more relaxed for everyone involved, it's the small personal touches that made the big difference to us. Our dinner in the Banqueting hall was exquisite, as always this beautifully decorated room took everyone's breath away, the food was Excellant, everyone still talks about how good the food & the service staff were, the staff were always on hand, to help anyone with their choice of dinner on the menu, & no glass was left empty, the waiting staff were always on hand topping up everyone's glasses, true professionals. I cannot praise Ballymagarvey enough for giving myself & my husband Mark, the day we had always dreamed of. A massive Thank You to John Regan our manager on the day, he was brilliant, always calm, funny & on hand to do anything we asked for, he is a huge asset to Ballymagarvy. We were blessed to have him with us on the Day. I cannot recommend this venue enough. It's six weeks now after our Wedding Day, & our guests are still talking about the fantastic day they had. All thanks to the staff & the stunning setting of Ballymagarvy Village. I wish I could do it all over again.

The venue is just beyond anything I could have imagined- just so incredibly beautiful and the atmosphere all throughout the day was pure magic! So many of our friends had travelled from England, Australia and NZ, visiting Ireland for the first time and they were all saying it was such an incredible place for them to visit and they couldn’t wait to come over for their next trip to the Emerald Isle :) I could continue on about how wonderful a day, and how amazing a venue Ballymagarvey is, but I shall leave it as this. We hope one day we get the opportunity to be invited back to a wedding at Ballymagarvey as guests!

I have to say all the staff were fantastic, particularly Veronica who helped us prepare for the day. The finishing touches were superb, the venue was even better than I had hoped. I cannot recommend this place enough and would very much encourage anyone considering this venue to attend an open evening at the very least. In terms of cost it was also very affordable. Lastly, the rooms were amazing - all our guests raved about the rooms, food and pretty much everything! It was one of the greatest days of my life and I cannot thank Ballymagarvey enough!

This place is magical. The venue is out of this world. The staff are super friendly and take care of all your requests with no problem. The food is 5 stars. From the moment I stepped into Ballymagarvey, I knew this is the one. Staffs are so nice from the first day until the day of my wedding there. We planned our big day for 2 years and Lisa was our coordinator, and honestly there is nothing more they can do for us. All the staffs are just superb, they ran everything like clock work, nothing is too much hassle, no questions or concerns are silly or nonsense. They really listen to what you want and try to do they best to accommodate us. They even make sure we have something to eat and kept checking if we need anything done etc. To conclude, it is not the cheapest place but it is the prettiest, reasonable venue to both of us, it worth every €€ for their attentive service and food!!

What can I say about Ballymargarvey...... From the very minute we walked through the doors on our first visit we fell in love with the place, and knew instantly it would be the place we would get married. The staff were also a huge selling point. Every person we had any contact with were so warm and welcoming. In the 18 months from setting our date to the big day itself our wedding coordinator Niamh could not have been more helpful, always on hand to answer any of my queries. The day itself could not have been more perfect. We were lucky that the weather was fabulous, so the house and the grounds all looked amazing. Our guests were blown away by Ballymagarvey, it was even better than they had all expected. We would do it all again in the morning if we could, and would recommend Ballymagarvey to any future Bride and Groom out there, you really won't regret it.

From the viewing to the booking and the pre hand arrangements they were carried out to the highest quality and nothing was an obstacle. This venue is the no.1 in Ireland!! The professionalism from the open night to your special day is second to none... I was so upset my day was over because this meant I wouldn't see all my friends I made at the venue over my 2 years planning. The wedding co-ordinators are exquisite the food is out of this world I did it receive one complaint the soup was on special request everyone looking for the recipe... I want to thank all the staff I cannot express how much I appreciate all there help and hard work on our day and the run up!! Best venue in the country.

The planning process with our planner Muireann was such a pleasure, we really looked forward to every meeting and this insured that our actual wedding day was spectacular. Ballymagarvey were so accommodating to all of our requests and were delighted to include our little doggie too. It was a magical day made even better by a perfect mix of professionalism, kindness and humor from John and Ellie who made sure everything ran smoothly. Couldn't recommend Ballymagarvey highly enough, it really was a dream venue for us.

We got married in June this year and had the most amazing day. I couldn't recommend this stunning venue enough,not only for it's beauty and super delicious food but for it's outstanding and incredible staff. They couldn't have been more helpful on the run up to our big day and on the day itself! They really made us and all of our guests feel at home in Ballymagarvey and made sure everything ran so smoothly to make our day perfect. I'm really hoping some of our friends book their wedding in Ballymagarvey soon just so we can go back for the experience again. Ballymagarvey made our wedding day as special as I imagined when I was a young girl. The staff were all so helpful and incredible. They couldn't do enough for you. The venue was out of this world with the most stunning rooms and banquet hall. And the food was incredible!!! Everything was 100% perfect. Couldn't have wished for a better day. Would highly recommend to anyone. I can't wait to go back to renew our vows in 10 years to do it all again ;-) x

We have been dealing with Ballymagarvey village for about four years from open days to the big day itself. Every time and every member of staff has been brilliant. They have looked after us every step of the way and we were left with a fantastic, stress free day. All of our guests enjoyed their time there and I'd definitely recommend here to anyone getting married.

We attended the wedding of our niece at this wonderful venue. The house is very well maintained with plenty of comfortably sized reception rooms, with very good furnishings that really suit the house. We didn't stay in the accommodation, but the rooms we saw, were perfect, all decently sized, in top condition, with very good beds and furnishings. The room used for the wedding dinner was beautifully decorated. The food was very good, and well presented. The staff without exception were top class, very friendly and nothing was too much trouble for them.

Myself and my husband were so delighted with our day. We could not ask for a better team to coordinate the day,Niamh our allocated wedding planner was very professional,she provide us with practical tips and kept my wedding arrangements to schedule. Caroline was the coordinator on the day and she was fantastic. I don't really have a critique of the venue because everything went as I hoped it would.

We got married here in February 2016 and couldn't have imagined having our wedding anywhere else. We fell in love with it the first time we saw it and just knew it was the venue for us. From the time we booked until the wedding was over, the staff were so attentive to all of our needs. They were always so accommodating to changes we wanted to make. The food was to die for, people are still talking about it now :) Our wedding day was simply perfect, couldn't fault a single thing. Niamh our wedding planner was amazing as was John the manager who was there on the day for anything we needed. The team at Ballymagarvey really go above and beyond to make your day so special. They were so friendly from the start and always remembered our names every time we visited, we really loved that about the staff. My only wish is that we could go back and do it all over again, we wouldn't change a single thing.

From the moment we walked into Ballymagarvey, we knew we'd get married here. We live in England and about 75% of our guests do too, so we needed a venue where everyone could stay the night. We were also having our wedding at the venue, so wanted somewhere that had a specific ceremony room. Ideally we'd have loved to have Ballymagarvey for the whole weekend, but that meant waiting a couple of years! Niamh was our wedding planner and she couldn't have been more helpful or accommodating with our requests. We knew she was always there at the end of the phone if we needed her and we completely trusted her and the team. The food was incredible and there was so much of it (our guests still rave about the food), and the food tasting evening was an added bonus. It was a shame we couldn't get into the venue on the day until 2ish to get ready, but since our wedding, I see they've added a bridal parlour where the bride can get ready and have breakfast with her bridesmaids, so obviously a lot of other people felt the same and they're listening to what people want. I wish we could do it all over again - and I wouldn't change anything as Ballymagarvey know how to host the perfect wedding.

I can't recommend this place as a venue enough . From the day I booked the venue I knew I was capable hands . Our wedding coordinator Eimear was so in the ball and a real pleasure to deal with and just instilled me with confidence that everything would be as we wanted . She was so responsive to all my emails and so professional and just lovely felt like a friend by the end of the process :-) . Every open day I went to I was made to feel special and every dealing with any staff member on the run up to the wedding also made me feel special . They were so accomadating to my requests . On the day everything was just as I had envisioned just even better. The attention to detail was unreal just gorgeous . The food amazing and tasty but most of all the staff were so friendly . They went out of their way for myself my husband and all our guest who all commented on how great the staff were . They instilled such a lovely calm and warm atmosphere on the day . They made me feel like I was the only wedding they had that year i just was made to feel amazing on the day and that everything was in hand . To make a bride feel that special and that their wedding is so important is really something considering how many weddings this venue has every year but they really make you feel so amazing . We had the day of our dreams magical in every way . The place is truely unique and magical everything you can dream off . Just perfect thank you from both myself and Jimmy .

We absolutely loved the venue and the staff were so helpful and nice. I especially loved how they allowed us to leave my wedding dress and cake at the venue overnight, as well as providing a breakfast for bride and bridesmaids the morning of the wedding. We also had many different dietary requirements for our guests and this was no problem for Ballymagarvey at all. It was just beautiful. They made everything as easy as possible for us.

Ballymagarvey was our dream venue & it turns out they had the dream team too! From the very first meeting we had with Muireann , John & the team they treated us (and our baby) with so much warmth and kindness, they couldn't have been more accommodating to us or our guests. Even with a wardrobe malfunction on the morning of the wedding John was on hand to sew the dress, these guys can do anything! The venue itself its just beautiful, and there are so many little touches that just make it so special. I couldn't recommend them enough

Ballymagarvey is a truly special and unique venue and we have been inundated with compliments from our guests, since our wedding. The beauty of Ballymagarvey speaks for itself, but the service received from the staff there in last 15 months was really the icing on the cake! We would like to give a special mention to Muireann, who was our wedding manager. She made planning our wedding ceremony and reception a completely stress free experience. She was always on hand to answer questions and offer advice; in relation to both Ballymagravey and third party suppliers. She was extremely friendly and professional in all dealings we had with her; as were any of the other wedding managers we encountered at Ballymagravey (Niamh and Lisa in particular!). The wedding day itself was truly magical and easily the best day of my life so far! Guests commented on high standard of service they experienced, the delicious food and the effort Ballymagarvey had gone to decorate the place for Christmas (really fabulous!). As the bride and Groom, we felt that the staff could not do enough to make sure we enjoyed our day and were relaxed throughout. Of particular note we Mary, John, Ellie and Viktor who were so helpful to us on the day. We would 100% recommend Ballymagarvey to any couples out there considering it as a wedding venue!!

We had a winter wedding here last year and it was truely amazing . If your looking for a venue straight out of Pinterest with great staff and amazing food Ballymagarvey Village is definitely the place. We still have people saying how amazing our wedding was a whole year after . We also paid a lot less then we would of on other venues we viewed and they were no were near as amazing as Ballymagarvery Village.

Ballymagarvey is exceptional in every way. When we first visited for an open evening we were blown away by the beauty and uniqueness - we booked our wedding that night and never looked back. In the run up to the wedding we dealt with Niamh & Sinead, both ladies were so welcoming and friendly, they answered every question or query we had. They were so organised, helpful and supportive in the run up to the wedding. The wedding packages are very reasonable and the quality of the staff, accommodation, food and venue itself are just outstanding. I want everyone I know to get married here just so I can keep coming back :) In the run up to the wedding there was a Menu Tasting Night and we had so much fun at that- you literally get to taste everything!! Ballymagarvey also have a list of suppliers they recommend and through this you receive quite a large discount- we used both the Photographer, Mark Harrison and the band, The Panoramics, and they were both top class. We made our own cakes and brought a few decorations (not many needed as there is so much already) and Ballymagarvey put everything up for us exactly as we wanted. On the day we dealt with Caroline, and she was just amazing. So professional, helpful and friendly. Even our guests were commenting on how lovely she was!! Your wedding day is supposed to be one of the best days of your life, and it truly was for us, and we would like to say a massive thank you to Ballymagarvey for everything they did in helping us to achieve that. It was truly magical.

A truly fantastic wedding venue with serious wow factor. Our guests were very impressed! The food and service is amazing - guests are still raving about the food. Ellie was very attentive on the day and guests were well looked after. Unfortunately for one reason or another we had 4 different coordinators during the planning process, but each were very thorough and things did not get missed. We were very hands on and Ballymagarvey were happy to embrace this, taking all our ideas on board and displaying all our handmade and special decor beautifully. The grounds are a stunning and making for amazing photographs - there's so many nooks and crannies! A venue that had to be seen to be believed!

Ballymagarvey was the most magical venue for our wedding day. From our very first contact with the venue they were professional and knowledgeable. Planning our wedding from London was made so easy given the staff of BMV. Our wedding day, was just perfect in BMV with every little detail covered by their exceptional staff we didnt need to worry about anything. The food and venue were stunning and all our guests from Ireland and the UK loved the uniqueness of BMV. We cannot praise the staff enough for making our wedding day so memorable and perfect.

The most magical fantastic venue you could find.......The weather was dreadful but that didn't dampen our day.....The setting is magical and the staff were so attentive we could not fault anything......Our guests are still praising the place, food and staff....We had the best day ever and couldn't have asked for anything more......As it was both of our second marriages we wanted a private exclusive venue and Ballymagarvey Village couldn't be beaten.....~Although I was an older bride Ballymagarvey made me feel like a princess on our big day......

Beautiful place, sun shone BUT the service between courses was unbelivably poor. it took at least 20 mins between courses which meant we did not get finished our meal until 10.15pm. the band did not get starting until 11 and cut their time playing. we were so annoyed at this. also there was an incident with a waiter towards a guest which was unacceptable. there was no manager on duty or wedding co ordinator, which we thought was very poor.

From start to finish of planning our wedding the staff could not do more for us in making things easy. We just loved the venue & that we could have it all to ourselves for 2 days was amazing as it felt like our for that time. I can't recommend this venue enough

Eimear (Wedding coordinator) and the team at Ballymagarvey were brilliant to deal with. There was nothing they couldn't do for us and were always available if we had any queries. The venue is so beautiful and the staff were very friendly and helpful throughout our dealings with them. The day itself ran so smoothly and I wasn't stressed as I knew there was nothing I needed to worry about. Ellie made sure everything ran like clockwork. The meal was so tasty and not one of the guests or I could fault it. I would go back there in a heartbeat. Couldn't recommend them highly enough. Go to an open evening - they are amazing!

When planning our wedding we wanted to invest in a couple of things we thought would make our day special and memorable for us and all our guests - the venue and the entertainment. Ballymagarvey Village was just a short drive for us so bonus number one but the fact that it is a private venue was its biggest pulls but OH MY GOODNESS was it such a wonderful, beautiful, romantic, elegant venue and the staff where so professional and helpful. The Christmas decorations were still up made it all the more wonderful. This is the most perfect venue for an intimate and elegant wedding. You won't be disappointed.

The team in Ballymagarvey went above and beyond for my husband and I in the build up to the wedding and on the day, reducing the stress of wedding planning to a minimum which in my opinion is priceless! Two years on from our big day we are still hearing family members talk about the staff....and how they helped my dad relax before his speech as they could see how nervous he was…., and how they cleaned my bridesmaids dress 15mins before the ceremony (she got oil on it getting out of the wedding car) and I hadn’t even noticed. Then there's the stunning ceremony room, courtyard, food................ I could go on and on!! We 100% recommend Ballymagarvey Village to any bride to be :)

Absolutely amazing venue from start to finish. Sinead and the rest of the team were fantastic to work with and nothing was too much for them (from dressing the tables with my diy decor to saving the day and keeping my dress dry in the rain with a make shift rain canopy using a bed sheet!!! It made for a very memorable walk to the ceremony!!! ) I cannot fault them. Such a stand out venue and we are still getting compliments about our day 2 years on! Such a beautiful setting (even in the rain!) with a relaxed but professional service. They really did give me the wedding of my dreams! 5 stars *****

We had an absolutely wonderful day at Ballymagarvey last August. Not even the off season torrential rain could wipe those smiles off our faces! In rain or shine, Ballymagarvey is the perfect venue. Our guests enjoyed being inside exploring the delights and décor each room had to offer and the buzz of everyone being inside together gave a great atmosphere and air of excitement. The staff were wonderful, the food was delicious and the banquet hall during dinner was like being in a fairyland with the pretty lights and stonewalls. The only thing I will say in relation to value, the accommodation is quite expensive and we did have to fill all of it which can be awkward and stressful! So that is something to consider and maybe discuss with your Ballymagarvey wedding co-ordinator. But that aside it really was the perfect venue and it was such the perfect day and I wouldn't have wanted our wedding anywhere else!

Absolutely stunning venue with exceptional attention to detail on our wedding day. The coordination leading up to our wedding was the only issue we had, we found it difficult to tie down all the details as we were doing everything from abroad and were constantly dealing with different coordinators, luckily we were a very easy going bride and groom! In the end however it came together very well. The manager on the day couldn't have done more for us, even going as far as getting down on his hands and knees and sewing my dress bustle in place after my dad stood on it during our father daughter dance!!

If we were to do it all again it would be in Ballymagarvey and we wouldn't change a single thing. John and his team are super efficient. Every detail and request was adhered to. Everything about Ballymagarvey is 5 star. It oozes class and is by far the most beautiful wedding venue in the country.

Staff here have the balance just right - they make you feel relaxed and welcome in a friendly environment yet are immaculate with their professionalism and service levels provided. The reception planning, update meetings with overall setting & food were unmatched having explored a number of other venues before deciding on BMV. Rooms and the house itself are finished to have a real sense of country home but with a luxurious edge that our guests commented on plus the use of the kitchen and conservatory make it a real home from home. We've returned to plant our tree in the Orchard and really looking forward to being able to stay again soon just to have the whole Ballymagarvey Experience. I can't recommend this venue highly enough to any bride or groom lucky enough to have their day here - it is so good I had a friend get married there last year based on our reviews! It will be the best decision you make for your big day - I promise!
