Ballymagarvey Village from start to finish, provide a highly professional service and the venue itself is stunning. The venue is incredibly decorated and the staff are on top of their game throughout from the wedding planner to the bar staff. The wedding planning staff (Niall, in our case) took the stress out of everything! All our guests were raving about the venue and wedding. We highly recommend Ballymagarvey to any couples who are looking to have their wedding there.

We got married in Ballymagarvey Village and had our second day onsite and we couldn’t rate the venue or the staff highly enough. They cater to every need of the bride, groom and all the guests. It was a the most amazing two days special thanks to Lisa and Greg and Lisa on the morning of the wedding.

We couldn’t have chosen a more perfect venue for our wedding! From the moment we first visited, we knew this was the place. The team was incredibly professional, attentive, and went above and beyond to make sure every detail was flawless. The venue itself is stunning – the atmosphere was magical, and all of our guests were in awe of the beautiful setting.

The staff truly cared about making our day special, handling everything with ease and allowing us to relax and enjoy every moment. The food was exceptional, and the service was impeccable. If you are thinking of Ballymacgarvey for your wedding day my advice is to just book it because you will not be disappointed. The venue is absolutely beautiful and has such a homey feel. The decor, detail, food & service is 5 star. Our guests were raving about the food and how stunning the place was. My husband and I live in Australia and never had the chance to view before we booked, but we trusted our gut and we are so glad we did. It also made the day quite special for us as each area we were going to everytime (ceremony/drinks reception/banquet hall) was something new to see! Alana was our coordinator throughout the whole process and she is fantastic at what she does. She made us feel such at ease and was so hands on. The whole team at Ballymacgarvey are just amazing and the owner should be very proud cause when I think of our wedding day the first things that comes to mind how great the staff were. Thank you for the best day BMV - I’m praying a family/friend gets married there so we can return again soon!

Where do I even start with this venue Wow is an understatement. From our first visit viewing to booking the wedding the wedding coordinating team where just a joy to deal with. No query was ever silly or left unanswered and every finer detail was explained and spoken through which made all the planning so stress-free. Our wedding Coordinator Cassie is amazing at her job and literally took everything we wished for and gave us the exact reality and more on the day. The staff are incredible and the food was just insane. Our guests have been raving about everything from start to finish since. We are so delighted we had our day in Ballymagarvey Village and our only wish is that we could relive every moment again! We hope to return as guests someday to enjoy it all over again. 5 stars isn't enough for this incredible place it definitely deserves 10. Caroline had picked up our details mid-flight after Niall. She was absolutely brilliant throughout the whole lead up to the wedding and Maria and myself couldn't have imagined the day to go just as smooth as it did.
I couldn't recommend Caroline and the whole Ballymagarvey team enough. Our guests could not believe just how spectacular the day was.

A couple of months before the wedding, there was a transition from Muireann to Alana which for us went smoothly.

Closer to date, we had two video calls with Alana. These two calls were useful and also made sure that everything was covered, answer the bride and groom’s questions and know the full details of the day.

Alana was also available for other calls and also answered very quickly any other question or doubt we had. Thank you!

We received great feedback for the food on tje day, even though there is no possibility to test it before. For the bride with the dietary requirements: I felt that I was very well taken care of. And having a silent vegetarian option which included all dietary requirements made it easier for the organization and also avoid any hiccups. We understand why this option was chosen.

The bedrooms in themselves were great, clean and bed lining of good quality. However, we felt that the people from Ballymagarvey that we were in contact with for the organization of the rooms for the guests were not also the same people and that the information was not always kept. This meant that what was communicated/agreed (such as not communicating the credit cards per email) was not always kept in mind by all the people were very in contact from Ballymagarvey. Maybe it would be good to document more and make sure the information is kept.

Katy was looking after us the morning of the wedding for the bridal party. She was very helpful (serving drinks, providing information, carrying dress, tagging bags, etc). She couldn’t have been nicer or more helpful. Thank you!

For the groom, the morning of was more intense with the arrival at 12:20 and to be ready for the first look, and then check with celebrant. This may not be the fault of Ballymagarvey’s but due to the chosen set up (celebrant and first look). However, we wonder if it may not have been possible to let the groom arrive earlier and have more time and therefore not rushed in this preparation.

Aden was very reassuring on the day. The 15-20minutes that we had between dinner call and entrance for the dinner was really appreciated by bride and groom. We both really appreciated having a small break and eat/drink something. Thank you Aden for being right over our shoulders!

Peter was also very friendly and nice. There were no surprises and he came to us in a timely manner regarding the tab for the bar. Thank you Peter!

Finally the breakfast was also very nice. The food great, home made. The staff working on the morning were all very friendly and helpful.

Overall, we (bride and groom) and guests had a great experience. 😊 Thank you to everyone!

We found the day to be so relaxing as Muireann and her team had everything sorted in advance.

Aidan was amazing, that man deserve the highest praise. He kept everything moving along and on time to a tee.

Everyone at Ballymagarvey Village went above and beyond to make our wedding day extra special. From my first email with our wedding coordinator Caroline, I knew we were in good hands. Nothing was ever too much trouble and she made the whole experience so relaxing and enjoyable. Lisa in the barn the morning of the wedding was so helpful in so many ways and made the morning so much fun and stress-free. Not to forget our bar managers Greg and Aidan that were there for the entire day/evening making sure everything went seamlessly. Overall, myself and my husband had the best day of our lives.

We couldn’t speak highly enough of every aspect of the day, the team there are just genuinely incredible!

From the day we chose the venue we knew it would be special but we didn’t realise just how special it would be!

We had our special day on the 25th of July this year and from the moment we seen the venue for the first time we were absolutely in love! It was the banquet hall that truly sold it for us, the minute we seen it. From the day we booked the venue right up to the day itself our wedding coordinator Caroline was there every single step of the way, she was so responsive and so helpful in every possible way, we couldn’t have asked for more. The day itself ran so smoothly from start to finish. The food, amazing! And there was an almost constant flow of food from the moment we arrived right up until the end of the night, drinks were served all through to our guests arriving and after the ceremony, all our guests have been raving about the venue too, I highly recommend everything about the venue, and if you are considering choosing this venue for yourself I really recommend getting ready in the bridal barn too 😍

Highly recommend BMV to everyone. We had the most amazing day from start to finish we and our guests were look after so well. Our coordinator was Simone and she went far and beyond with her advice, support re planning and execution on the day.

We were literally blown away by how perfect our wedding day was and that is solely to do with the professionalism, highest quality and attention to detail given by Caroline and Greg and the rest of the wedding team in Ballymagarvey! You can really tell they strive for the best, take pride in making sure your day was truly special and magical. Caroline was a fantastic wedding coordinator, so friendly and responsive and helped us with so much in the lead up to the wedding. She set up our wedding bits on the day perfectly and we are just so grateful. Greg the event manager on the day was also just as fantastic, making sure the day ran so smoothly. I must also say Lisa from the Barn prep room is an absolute sweetheart, so attentive and caring and did everything to make mine and rest of bridal party’s morning prepping for the wedding go as smoothly and stress free as possible.

The reception canapés and the dinner were also fantastic and the entire venue was just set up so beautifully it was like a fairytale wedding.

From the moment we arrived at Ballymagarvey for the open evening, we knew this was the venue for us. The detail that had gone into preparing the venue for potential couples was amazing.
Once we booked our date, Alana McCarthy was our point of contact and she was so professional, helpful and overall a lovely Wedding planner throughout. She could not have done more for us.
The Wedding day itself was a lovely relaxed morning, we had booked to get ready there. Lisa was an absolute angel that morning, and even managed to put my Mam at ease. There was so much space for my hair stylist & make up artist to work with.
Everything on the day was absolutely perfect, we have received so many compliments on the food, the service and the venue overall.
We cannot recommend Ballymagarvey enough for a truly spectacular experience. We will never tire of looking back on our beautiful pictures and thinking back on the fond memories we now share with this venue.

We got married in Ballymagarvey Village last weekend. It is the most beautiful wedding venue of all time. From the moment you step foot onto the grounds, it has a certain magic and sparkle about it. The staff were phenomenal and went above and beyond for all of our guests. Our wedding coordinator was brilliant to deal with and made the entire planning process so seamless, easy and enjoyable. The venue is absolutely spectacular, rustic, quaint and quite simply takes your breath away. There are so many stunning features throughout the courtyard, it is a relaxed vibe yet super luxurious at the same time. The ceremony room, manor house and banqueting hall are all exceptionally gorgeous spaces and our guests were left wowed every corner they turned.

Cassie and the team at Ballymagarvey were exceptional and made our day so special. We wouldn’t change a thing. Ballymagarvey is a magical place.

The team there put so much energy and passion into their roles. It is really remarkable. From getting ready onsite to the ceremony, drinks reception and dinner, everything was picture perfect and they catered to our every wish on the day !! Our experience with Ballymagarvey was second to none. The entire day was managed exceptionally from start to finish and we can't fault one single aspect of the service provided. Nothing was ever an issue and the staff couldn't do enough for us to make sure our day was absolutely perfect. In particular our coordinator Alana, our event managers Kristina and Aidan, the bar manager Peter and Katy in the Barn were just fantastic and so helpful at all times. We had the best day of our lives! All of the guests commented on how amazing the food was comparing it to Michelin Star and the service provided by each and every staff member. We had the challenge of organising our wedding from Australia. Cassie was incredibly warm, patient and understanding. She made planning and coordinating our wedding much easier than we thought possible.

The staff on the day were faultless. The food was incredible. Several of our guests complimented the high level of service they experienced on the day. And everything ran so seamlessly.

Lisa in the barn is an absolute godsend. She made our bridal party feel at home and made sure we had everything we could have possibly needed.

Considering the amount of weddings that Ballymagarvey host every year, there were no signs of this from the venue or the staff. Every member of staff went above and beyond and made our day so incredibly special. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you.

I have nothing negative whatsoever to say about Ballymagarvey. It is true that it’s a well-oiled machine - they know how to pull off a fantastic wedding and they do it incredibly well. From the moment we booked, we felt in safe hands. The level of service was excellent and any queries were always answered quickly. Cassie was fantastic to deal with - so warm and helpful. On the day us and our guests were so well looked after and everything went perfectly. Lisa in the Bridal Barn was so attentive and lovely that morning, which really put me at ease. They were probably some of my favourite memories of the day because we had such a gorgeous time getting ready! Greg was our coordinator on the day and nothing was an issue - he checked in with us regularly to make sure we were happy with everything. The food was amazing and some of our most picky guests remarked on how good it was. I will say I was a little bit nervous/disappointed as they don’t offer a food tasting but you needn’t be worried - it was amazing and the meal itself ran like clockwork - no long waits between courses. Our guests were all so impressed by how incredible the venue was from the staff to how beautiful it is and we could not have been happier with how the day went. While it’s not the cheapest venue to go with, you absolutely get what you pay for and they are absolute pros. Thank you Cassie, Greg and Lisa for ensuring our day went off perfectly!

We couldn’t recommend Ballymagarvey enough. The venue, the food, the staff (including staff on the day and the amazing team, especially Simone, who helped us plan the most incredible day) are all absolutely amazing. Things were thought of before it could even cross our minds. They even climbed up a tree to get my veil down on the day! Lisa was so attentive and calming on the morning of the wedding, and Greg looked after us all evening. Everything exceeded our expectations and many of our guests have even said our wedding was one of the best days of their lives!! It goes without saying that it was, without a doubt, the best day of our lives and we can’t thank the team enough.

I don't even know where to start with how amazing the team at Ballymagarvey Village were both on the day itself and the lead up to the day.
Our wedding coordinator Alana was amazing! She helped with any queries or concerns we had and nothing was too big or too small. She was an absolute pleasure to deal with from start to finish and made dealing with the venue easy and stress free. We had breif dealings with Niall when we initially booked in 2022 and he was also fantastic to deal with. Kristina looked after us on the day and she was an absolute star! Anything we needed she was there and made us feel at ease. The staff as whole from the girls on reception, the waiting staff, bar tenders and breakfast were all 10/10. They truely are a credit to the venue.
There is honestly nothing we could fault about our day, Ballymagarvey went above and beyond to make us feel like we were royalty! We would recommend to anyone thinking about getting married here to book it! Not only is the venue itself a magical place but the staff absolutely make it the perfect venue! The food was also unreal! An exceptional experience from the moment we walked in on the open evening right through to the morning after the wedding. Alana was a fantastic and knowledgeable planner, anything we thought of - she already had accounted for. We received many compliments from guests about the standard and especially the food. We would note that perhaps a little too much food at the drinks reception and so possibly we didn't need the extra add on. We were so at ease on the day and the whole place really felt like a home away from home. The fires were lit and people had lots of comfy and cosy places to unwind and chat. Overall it was 10 out of 10 and we wish we could do it all again! Looking forward to attending someone else's wedding here in the future!

Absolutely amazing venue. The staff were beyond exceptional with the service they provided. They were on hand at all times from start to finish and continuously checked in with us to make sure we were ok for everything. The food was absolutely amazing. One of the nicest wedding meals we have ever had and all of our guests have shared the same opinion. I don't even have the words to express how amazing BMV really was. We booked without even viewing as we are living in NZ, their service was just unbelievable. Lisa was attentive, friendly, entertained our toddler when we eventually came home to view the venue and nothing was an issue or too much trouble. Lisa is everything you need and want in a coordinator. The venue itself is just stunning (especially for winter/Xmas wedding). Most of your suppliers will probably have done weddings there which also takes that stress away. The accommodation and food is still being talked about by our guests. We will forever be greatful we chose Ballymagarvey above all the other venues we considered!

From the time of booking to the actual day... there is nothing fault, Niall was so professional and accommodating and took all the stress away from us and put us at ease. Greg on the day was amazing... from my experience as the groom as soon as I landed on site Greg took me and the groomsmen aside and we set up camp in the snug for a drink. The service on the day was outstanding, the floor staff were so competent and so professional. We have no complaints and it was honestly the best day and the best decision going with Ballymagarvey!

Ballymagarvey Village is the most Magical Wedding Venue. I would have no hesitations reccomending any future couples. The quality, professionalism, kindness & of course spectacular venue will never be matched.

Planning a wedding is apparently supposed to be stressful! The fact that it wasn't for us confirms we made the best choice going with Ballymagarvey Village as our venue! Couldn't fault it - highly recommend! Such a chill and fun day start to finish.

From start to finish I could not recommend Ballymagarvey Village enough.
We had a two day celebration the weekend of Nov 18th and I'm still in awe on how perfect everything was.


We knew from the minute we attended the open day the 27th of Jan 2021, Ballymagarvey Village was a special place. We instantly got goosebumps with the Christmas decor, the venue, the warm and welcoming staff and attentiveness we received we knew it would lead to such a special and amazing day and we were not wrong.


Niall was initially our wedding coordinator and couldn't have been more helpful to our questions and queries. Alana was then our coordinator for the last year for the run up to the wedding. She was nothing close to a fairy god mother - nothing was too big of an issue, every worry / question or query was too big. Alana was so accommodating to the fact that we lived abroad so totally made allowances to support us over zoom etc.... On the day - every wish we had was executed to perfection by Alana and we can't thank her enough.

On the day, Greg was our wedding day coordinator - he was so supportive and amazing. He kept everything to time, tended to our guest queries and our needs as a couple. He was always there and the guests noticed throughout and could not praise him enough.

Anthony the bar manager - also amazing. He was so patient with all our guests, even those who may have had one too many... all the bar staff we so kind and helpful.

I honestly can't thank all the staff enough - every single person we interacted with was welcoming, kind, friendly, helpful and truly amazing. They knew exactly what we needed before we even did. Every single person made us feel like we were at home, a warm friendly one. It made us feel so relaxed and the guests feel so at home. It meant people could enjoy themselves right from the moment they entered the venue.

Food was exception - we are still receiving texts about people dreaming about the Beef Guinness starter and sticky toffee pudding desert. The day 2 food was also exceptional. I am still craving some of the salads we had. We did worry as they do not do a tasting in advance, but we had 0 to worry about. We also had a few guests with allergies / dietary requirements an all guests as such felt so well catered for with a precheck in advance. This meant a lot to me as some of our guests allergies are severe and we wanted to ensure they felt as catered for as all other guests - as expected Ballymagarvey did not disappoint in this area. Breakfast the next morning, also delicious / needed with a hot breakfast for everyone involved.

The decor / venue speaks for itself - simply breathtaking. It is such a unique venue, which was confirmed by all our guests that they had never been at a venue quite like Ballymagarvey Village. Instantly as people walked into the banquet hall - phones were out left right and center capturing the beautiful room. We were so lucky that 80% of the Christmas decorations were up - all internal. I would pay any money for Ballymagarvey to come and decorate my house at Christmas - it is simply stunning. Every furniture and fitting is such high quality. The curtains, draps, lamps etc etc.. I took a few quiet moments to take it all in but every little detail has been though of. The use of the kitchen by guests was loved as a concept and it really was the heart of the home. Guest accommodation is also to a high standard and quality - all the guests onsite raved about it. The grounds are so well maintained - I woke at 7:30 am to say goodbye to some guests and there was already people out in the garden maintaining the grounds. I was speechless - in a good way. There is so much upkeep in the venue which clearly has an army behind it maintaining.

I don't even think we can capture every little moment Ballymagarvey pulled off to make the weekend so special. All the staff contributed with little moments to just make the weekend so amazing end to end. If I could sing from the rooftops about Ballymagarvey I would. I cannot recommend them enough it is worth every single penny for the professionalism, service, quality etc... If I could do it all over again I would. I would get married here again and again. We are currently trying to convince all our friends to get married here just so we can go back and relive it all over again!

We had an unbelievable wedding day in Ballymagarvey Vilage two weeks ago. Although the weather wasn't on our side we had an amazing day.

All of our family and friends were so impressed with the venue and remarked on how good everything was especially the food.

Muireann was our wedding coordinator and was extremely responsive and helpful with any questions we had.

We couldn't have asked for a better venue for our wedding day. From arriving and being looked after by Lisa in the Bridal Barn, to all the coordination by Cassie and to Greg for making sure everything ran smoothly on the day - we absolutely had the best day of our lives. Only have good things to say about the venue. First of all the place is magical, the courtyard is breathtaking, all of our guests were raving about it. The rooms are great for the guests, we visited a few of them to see what they looked like and were very pleased with them. The food was absolutely delicious. We were nervous since there is no food tasting, but it was excellent. The staff was fantastic, all super lovely and helpful. We have in mind specifically Greg who helped us throughout the day, several check ins and making sure everything was on track. Lisa who took very good care of the girls in the bridal prep room. Peter who was in charge of the bar was fantastic. And last but not least, we want to give a very special thank you to Niall Smyth in particular for supporting us from A to Z, responding to our many questions and making the whole wedding planning process SO much easier and stress free. Everything was smooth sailling and we want to thank everyone for making our day the best day ever!

What a wedding venue! We had the most amazing day from start to finish. The venue itself was just amazing. Lisa couldn't have been any more helpful and couldn't have done enough for us girls the morning of the wedding whilst making us all feel at ease and very homily. She was just amazing. We had a lovely chilled and relaxed morning and enjoyed every minute of it. Muireann who was our wedding co ordinator was also amazing nothing was ever a bother or too much of a bother and she was so always so helpful with everything. The quality of service was just excellent, all the staff were so bubbly and friendly and made ourselves and the guests feel so welcome. They were so professional and had everything down to a tee. We didn't have to worry about anything on the day. We had the best day in our dream venue it was everything we ever dreamed of and more. The guests are still talking about it and how amazing the whole day was. The food, wine and service was just incredible. Everyone just had an absolute ball. So thank you all so much for making our day so perfect. We just wish we could do it all over again.

Absolutely perfect venue, staff that we dealt with face to face and those behind the scenes do an exceptional job, I would recommend this venue to anyone looking to get married, wedding party , guests do not need to worry about anything , the amazing staff has everything covered and willing to go the extra mile for every single guest, we have received such positive feedback from our guests, so from my wife and I thank you all again.

Overall, our wedding experience absolutely exceeded expectations. The venue is one of the most beautiful places I've seen of all venues I've ever been to. Every building, room, courtyard, and garden was so nicely done and immaculately maintained. The staff was very friendly and the day went smoothly overall. I am still amazed at how beautiful the entire place is.

I also have to mention the food - this was the best food I've ever had at a wedding, full stop. We did have a small wedding with about 40 individuals in total - the food came out hot and was perfectly cooked. The guests all absolutely raved about how great dinner was. Service was fast, and everyone was extremely well taken care of. Many guests also said this was the best wedding dinner they've ever had.

The evening entertainment space (same as dining area for dinner) was perfect. The bar staff was incredibly friendly, and we were very grateful for the amazing service they provided throughout the evening.

There are only a couple small items for constructive feedback, but also want to reiterate this in no way detracts from the overall experience. It would be a big plus if the areas for groomsmen and bridesmaids were more even in size - the groomsmen were very packed into the couch house (I believe that's the name). It would also be helpful if the Bride and Groom could have a quick walk through the ceremony space just to make sure it starts smoothly. We are from the US and the way things were situated in the front threw me off, and I wasn't sure what to do with the chairs and was a bit without direction.

This venue really exceeded our expectations and I would 100% recommend this as a top choice. Honestly, I wish I could come back with a large group of friends and family for an evening of dinner and the bar, even without a wedding! Truly amazing place - thank you again for everything and a memorable experience!

We had our wedding in Ballymagarvey in July and we literally couldn't recommend the place more. Alana was so helpful on the lead up to the day and facilitated every request we had, no matter how big or small it was. They made the whole process so easy.
On the actual day the staff were so attentive and helpful, the food was unbelievable (guests said it was the best wedding meal they ever had) and the ceremony room, dining room, bedrooms were amazing. Thank you so much to Alana and all the team!

The perfect venue for a perfect day! From the moment we saw Ballymagarvey, we knew it was the right choice. Everything is managed so well, from the moment you sit down with staff on a viewing evening to the big day, everybody is there to help in any way possible. No stone is left unturned, no question to small or big and every member of staff is nicer than the last. It's truly a magical place.

We could not fault ballymagarvey in any shape or form! The most amazing 1 and half years dealing with them and the most unbelievable wedding day! Our guest can not stop raving about this place . After a LOT of research on wedding venues around the country, we viewed Ballymagarvey Village in December 2021. From the moment we drove through the gates, I had goosebumps! Niall Smyth, our wedding coordinator, was highly professional through the whole wedding planning process. He showed us around the venue when we viewed in December, and we booked our date with him in January 2022. Niall was always at the other end of an email and responded so quickly and informatively to all of our questions during the wedding planning. On the morning of the wedding, Niall met us and he set up all of our personal items as we had discussed in our planning meetings. He paid great attention to all the little details and everything was even better then we had hoped!

Everything about the Ballymagarvey Venue is perfectly geared towards a wedding. On the morning of the wedding, I got ready in the Bridal Barn with my four bridesmaids. We arrived at 9am for a 3pm ceremony and we had loads of time to enjoy the excitement and build up of the morning. Lisa looked after us all morning with a plentiful supply of coffees, teas, cakes, breakfast and of course prosecco! My husband and his groomsmen got ready at the Pillo Hotel, and went to the Coach house at 12pm to have a few drinks and sandwiches before the ceremony.

The Bridal Barn and Coach House provide the perfect backdrop to get some "getting ready" photos before the ceremony. The short walk to the ceremony room meant that it was very easy to be there on time! After the ceremony, our guests were led by the massive team of staff at the venue towards to reception area to check in and to get some drinks and food. We had plenty of time to get some photos as a couple after the ceremony in the beautiful grounds by the lake, as well as family photos by the manor house. We also had time to get join our guests at the drink reception.

When all the guests were led to dinner, we were well looked after and were able to have a quiet moment together with some food and drink for ourselves before entering the banquet hall. And what an entrance there is to the banquet hall ! The music was playing and all our guests were on their feet to welcome us as Mr & Mrs when the sliding doors opened.

We were a little nervous about how the food and wine would taste as we did not have a menu tasting. However, there was nothing to be worried about because the food was delicious! The venue were very accommodating to our guests with dietary requirements and they offered vegan and vegetarian menus to our guests who needed them. Everyone commented on how well fed they were throughout the whole day. I was also delighted to have the option of pizza in the evening too !

As the band were setting up, it was a great opportunity to get some fresh air with all our guests for a sparkler shot. Something which really impressed my about the venue was the easy accessibility guests had to move seamlessly through the whole evening from the bar, to the banquet hall, to the beautiful grounds outside but always feeling a part of the event and activities.

The staff run a perfect operation in Ballymagarvey Village. The day completely exceeded all my expectations and completely blew myself, my husband and all our guests away. We loved every single part of our day and that was down to the meticulous operation and professional standards in Ballymagarvey Village. We are very hopeful that we will be able to go to the venue again as wedding guests ourselves someday!

From the first day viewing of Ballymagarvey right up to the morning after the wedding the staff at Ballymagarvey were incredible throughout. Our coordinator Niall was well planned and made the runup as stress free as it can be. There is a real sense of team amongst all the staff working together to make sure the day goes to plan. My wife and I would highly recommend Ballymagarvey to anyone looking to get married.

In particular, our guests raved about the aesthetic of the venue, the delicious food and the tremendous staff service. Some described it as a ?fairytale feel? which is what it felt like to us. We fell in love with Ballymagarvey when we viewed it on a dark rainy evening in December 2021. Luckily we had a sunny wedding day in May which allowed us to use the outdoor amenities but we knew it would be beautiful no matter the weather. This is reassuring when opting for an Irish wedding. The beautiful grounds, the banquet hall, the snug bar and the cosy open fires really sold it for us.

There was a great sense of love and togetherness at the wedding which we thank Ballymagarvey's setting for. Despite having 170 guests, the wedding still felt very intimate. The table planning is well done so that nobody feels isolated. There are good views of the top table for everyone, and equally it is lovely to be able to look around from the top table and see all your guests. This was particularly eloquent during the speeches.

As bride and groom, we felt extremely well looked after and connected on our wedding day. Some couples claim not to have seen much of each other on their wedding day but thanks to the staff and set up at Ballymagarvey, we did not feel that was the case. If we needed anything, the staff were one step ahead of us getting us drinks, food, finding phones and handbags. It was the little things that meant a lot. The 30 minutes we had together in the snug bar while the guests gathered for dinner stands out to us and Florin so kindly made us feel cool calm and collected at this part of the day.

Our wedding coordinator Celine was a total professional and extremely kind and helpful to deal with from start to finish. Celine was calm and reassuring, super organised, an excellent communicator and generous with her time. We honestly did not feel stressed at any point of the preparation thanks to her seamless planning and coordination. We are lucky to be able to say that having organised a large wedding.

In summary, it's an outstanding review from us, our family and our guests to Ballymagarvey Village. We wish we could do it all over again but we will just reminisce on the wonderful memories we made there instead.

We had our dream wedding at Ballymagarvey. Everything ran like clock work. We got ready onsite and had out ceremony here also. From the moment we arrived everything was catered for, the staff were amazing! Each part of the day the person in charge of that area would come speak to me and as they were finishing up they would check in with me give me a run down and tell me who I could speak to if I needed anything. It was stress free day from start to finish. Amazing venue and such a beautiful venue there were no need for extra decor. All of my guests have raved about the food and the venue itself. We decided on Ballymagarvey village for our wedding after our first viewing and just being blown away by how beautiful and different the venue is to everything else we had seen. We cant say enough about the wedding team at Ballymagarvey Village. From the first contact with Muireann we knew that we were going to be looked after. When we went to see the venue we were blown away from the minute we entered the gates. We just knew Ballymagarvey was for us. Niall was our wedding Co ordinator, an absolute gent and nothing was ever a problem for him. He always responded to emails very quickly and was always available to have a chat if needed. Totally brilliant at his job. The attention to detail was second to none. With Nialls help and guidance we planned the wedding of our dreams. We never thought we could plan a day like it but it was all made as stress free as possible for us and we managed to get exactly what we wanted. All the staff at Ballymagarvey have to be commended. It's obviously a very well run wedding venue. The staff were always happy and friendly and couldn't do enough for us. The gardens are well manicured and the venue itself pristine, from the beautiful fires lighting in the cosy Manor House to the fire pits lighting outside in the evening just a beautiful touch. The bedrooms so comfy and warm and well decorated and dressed, spotlessly clean. The food was exquisite. Piping hot and plenty to eat for everyone. Our guests were blown away by the food and some have said they never have experienced a more smooth running dinner service anywhere else. Nobody was left waiting. We live in Australia and our wedding coordinator Alana made the whole experience so easy for us and on the day everything ran so smoothly. Myself and my bridal party got ready in ballymagarvey the morning of the wedding and I would 100% recommend doing this. It actually made the day even more special I feel and Lisa who looked after us the morning of, was amazing. I have a 4 month old and she really helped with him and made me feel so relaxed. Ballymagarvey village is so special and in my opinion the most beautiful wedding venue in Ireland. Thank you again to every single person at Ballymagarvey you made our big day that bit more magical.

After being a guest at this venue originally I fell in love with it and knew I had to get married here. Fast forward one year and we had our wedding which was absolutely flawless. From the early preparation to the day itself I could not have been more impressed with everyone I had the pleasure of dealing with. From the moment we stepped onto Ballymagarvey we knew it had to be our venue. We dealt with Alana and she was excellent, she gave us advice and nothing was too much. The day on the wedding the atmosphere in the house was amazing, the fires were lite the music was playing in the background. The staff were so attentive, there was plenty of welcome drinks and canapés. All our guests were in awe. We moved to the ballroom and the event manager on the day directed us on exactly what we needed to do. Their was plenty of wine at the meal and all the serving staff were great. The next morning the ladies were serving breakfast which was no easy task with 10 kids, they were amazing nothing was too much trouble. My wife and I could not have selected a better venue than Ballymagarvey! First The grounds are amazing and provide a wonderful variety of locations for pictures. All our guests commented on how beautiful Ballymagarvey was, the onsite venue was perfect for our wedding of about 75 guests. The menu for both our Rehearsal dinner (the night before) and the wedding meal were incredible, absolutely the best food we have ever had at a wedding. But any review of Ballymagarvey must include mention of their wonderful staff. The wedding coordinator, Celine, was incredible to work with from our very first conversation, she helped guide our selections and provided wonderful support throughout the planning process. Then once we arrived Florin and his staff were simple incredible and very attentive. Every single person we interacted with from Ballymagarvey was nice and helpful, the removed any stress that might have come from a wedding day.

Ballymagarvey village is a fairytale venue. It is hard to find a venue that ticks every box but Ballymagarvey ticks them all! The precision to detail is out of this world and every inch of the place is manicured to perfection. It's hard to put into words the high standards that Ballymagarvey caters to. The staff are like one big family. Our coordinator Rachel was a joy to deal with, she is so professional that on the day of the wedding she had every t crossed and I dotted it went so smoothly. The coordination of everything is flawless from the seasonal decor and fire pits lighting as guests make their way to the truly amazing banquet hall. Lisa, florin and Greg made sure everything went off without a Hitch. The perfect team and the perfect venue. Ballymagarvey village will blow your guests away and exceed all of your expectations.

Niall was our coordinator and he was an absolute dream to deal with no ask was too big for him, he was on top of everything, very quick to respond to any question, fantastic at his job. We had the barn booked for the bridal party to get ready and oh my god Lisa and Adrianna made each and every one of us feel like celebrities. They are two of the nicest ladies and they looked after us so well I actually can't thank them enough. Absolute joy both of them. Florin was our coordinator on the day and my god he had everything run perfectly he was amazing and a joy to deal with. All of the food was absolutely fabulous every single guest has come to me to comment how amazing the food was from the drinks reception to the breakfast the next morning flawless. The venue itself is stunning I have not seen a nicer venue picture perfect and what makes it even better is the staff I can't thank them enough every single staff member was absolutely lovely and so helpful they are a credit to the venue. We travelled to Ballymagarvey Village from the U.S. along with 65 guests for our October 2022 wedding. The venue was truly unique and unlike anything we could find in the States, with the ceremony, reception, dinner, and lodging all in one place. Our wedding day was actually the first time we saw the venue in person and its beauty absolutely blew us away, from the romantic courtyard grounds to the little details in the rooms and everything in between.

Every single staff member that we encountered throughout the day was so friendly and provided exceptional, above-and-beyond service. The staff really makes you feel well taken care of, makes everything run so smoothly, and seem to genuinely enjoy being a part of your special day. Lisa E. was patient and helpful throughout the planning process, Lisa was caring and accommodating during the morning preparations, Jonathan was friendly and helpful throughout the whole day, the bartenders made a memorable impression on our guests, and the dinner and breakfast staff were so polite. The venue is of course beautiful in itself, but the staff are really what make Ballymagarvey a 5-star experience that made us and our guests feel very fancy.

All of our guests are still raving about the food and presentation. Many have told us it is the best food that they've ever had at a wedding, and some even their favorite meal of their international trips or ever.

Beautiful and intimate wedding venue.

Everything was amazing and went perfectly to plan.

I only had one complaint for the 2 days (pre day and day of the wedding). We were doing our wedding pictures and the bar manager interrupted the pictures/video to tell me the bar tab was running low and nearly gone. I would suggest that the best man or someone else is also a point of contact for this also.

Besides this one issue above, the day flowed perfectly and everyone was so helpful. I wasn't in the bridal suite (barn) in the morning but the bridal crew couldn't speak highly enough of how good lisa was with helping them get ready and minding the kids. The bridesmaids dress zip broke but Lisa was on the case and got the correct color thread to repair the dress in no time.

I gave 4 out of 5 star for the flexibility as we were not allowed to put taytos in the bags we made for the rooms due to previous occurrences of some mess. We were just a small bit upset about this as we had the taytos already purchased but Lisa Egan had informed us it was due to previous occurrences and we complied happily.

The one thing I would like to compliant was the execution of the wedding day. It was flawless and I would highly recommend to anyone. We had 2 kids and the help throughout the day just made it so much easier.

Where do we start!? The whole 2 day event was amazing. From the get go, the staff and venue were amazing! Anything we needed both in the lead up and during the wedding was never a problem. Food was one of the most talked about topics on the day, we were all sincerely blown away with the 5 star restaurant quality food. The whole event was arranged by the most amazing wedding coordinator Niall Smyth, along with the wedding day event manager Greg. They were both unbelievable and went well above and beyond the level of service we expected! We couldn't recommend a venue or location higher! If you are considering Ballymagarvey as a potential wedding venue, don't bother looking anywhere else. The general staff were the most pleasant, kind, polite and discrete people, tending to every fine detail in the most particular manner while never being seen but always being available! Because they have a wedding almost everyday, they operate the entire organization of the wedding so strictly. When you do chose Ballymagarvey, make sure to go through as many details with you wedding coordinator as soon as possible, in order to be sure you're on the same page.

We could not recommend Ballymagarvey enough for your wedding. Our day was above and beyond anything we could have ever hoped for. The staff are truly a credit to the venue. Food was absolutely delicious and all our guests commented on the brilliant accommodation.

Niall was our wedding co-ordinator and for the months leading up to our day, he could not have been more helpful or accommodating.

On the day, we had Greg looking after us, and we have honestly never experienced service like it. He was always there, ready to do anything for us. One of the day's highlights was when the staff organised for me and my wife to spend a half hour away from everyone in the conservatory, with canapés, champagne and cocktails. Just added such a special touch and allowed us to decompress before dinner.

We are now trying to convince family and friends to get married here so we could enjoy the experience all over again as guests! Thank you all so much for making our day so special.

Such a stunning venue. I would give 4 stars for value and flexibility because they were a little difficult throughout COVID to rearrange dates - there was a reluctance on their behalf back in 2020 to allow us to rebook for 2022 ( they were trying to get us to move to a Monday/Tuesday in 2021 off peak times of year from our Saturday midsummer wedding in 2020, which was not what we wanted). We expressed our wish to move to 2022 to allow us to have the wedding we hoped for. In the end, they agreed to rebook to 2022 although we were charged a thousand euro to do so. HOWEVER, that was all COVID related and it was right at the peak of COVID uncertainty for the whole wedding sector so I don't think it will ever apply to future couples. There were literally no other issues with the venue. Everything else was impeccable and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it as a venue to anyone else. The day itself was magical and run faultlessly. The staff are so attentive, friendly and professional. The food was raved about by every guest.

The venue and staff at Ballymagarvey are overall excellent. The grounds are stunning and well maintained. The food and beverages quality was 5* from start to finish. On the day the staff where incredibly obliging and friendly to us and our guests.
Constructively, considering the cost, in planning our wedding we where at times surprised by the lack of flexibility. It became apparent during planning that the venue seems to adhere to a copy paste structure for all weddings. Examples; There is no menu tasting offered to bride & groom prior to wedding, onsite ceremonies cannot begin before 15:00, dinner begins at 18:30, cutting the wedding cake happens after dinner indoors.
On the day it would have been appreciated to have someone to guide the bridal preparation room with time and schedule information regarding guests arriving onsite, ceremony music beginning, as the bride I was late to walk up the aisle.
Our day was fantastic, regardless to the above minor feedback and I would recommend this venue to all future couples. Ballymagarvey was a magical wedding venue and will always be special to myself and my husband.

From the minute we booked Ballymagarvey nothing was an issue and all queries or requests were dealt with very swiftly and professionally by our wedding co-ordinators Lisa and then Alana.

On the day of the wedding the Bridal Prep room was used by the bridal party and they can't thank Lisa enough who looked after them all morning going above & beyond.

One thing that we weren't made aware of until the day that future couples should know is that the best man had to comp?re the speeches, as we were under the impression that a member of staff would do that as is the case in any wedding we had previously attended. Thankfully this didn't phase our best man but can see how it would others, so not really a complaint by any means just a heads up.

The breakfast in the Barn, the lunch in the Coachhouse, the canapés at the drinks reception, the evening meal and the breakfast the next day were all exceptional and have had many guests commenting on the quality of food & service.

All in all we had a truly amazing day and can't thank all the staff enough for helping it all run so smoothly and make the experience something we will never forget.

Myself and my husband had our wedding at Ballymagarvey Village on the 7th July 2022 and wow we were absolutely blown away!! From the start of the day getting ready in the bridal paper room to the banquet Hall we cannot recommend this venue more for a wedding! Our guests were raving about the venue a week later and claimed it was the nicest wedding dinner they ever had. We had a few guests with very specific dietary requirements and the staff were so accommodating throughout the day and night. If we were to marry again we would pick Ballymagarvey Village every single time! Just incredible!!

From the moment we got engaged, we knew we wanted our day to be in Ballymagarvey and they did not disappoint! The communication between myself and my husband and Ballymagarvey from the very beginning to the days after the wedding was so positive and reassuring and I just knew that we were in safe hands. Every single thing on the day was smooth sailing and they even tailored to my specific needs when I found out I was unexpectedly pregnant before the big day! Multiple guests told me that they had been to 5 star hotels and that Ballymagarveys staff exceeded their experiences. The venue is absolutely stunning, the food is amazing and it was honestly like a fairy tale. The accommodation is beautiful and it's even extra special as you have the whole venue to yourselves and your guests. I 100% recommend and wish I could relive the day again!

This review is about a year delayed, but I could not praise Ballymagarvey Village enough! My husband and I had our (three times postponed) wedding there last year, and it was simply amazing. The venue and the grounds are absolutely stunning, the staff is kind and very accommodating to any of our needs, the food was amazing, and our wedding coordinator was a pleasure to work with. Getting ready in the bridal barn is an experience in itself. It is gorgeous, there is so much space, amazing food, and incredible staff. Everything to give you the most stress free morning. Like others have said before, Ballymagarvey is like a well oiled machine. Our guests were blown away, and we could not have asked for a better day!

What can I say...from the minute we saw the venue to the actual day itself, the experience has been fantastic. Celine our wedding coordinator was an absolute dream to work with! Always professional and no request / question went unanswered. Daniel and I live in the UK and so we organized everything via email or by phone, which was super smooth. Dan and I had the most incredible day, Johnathan and Lisa were on hand always and made us feel so comfortable and relaxed. Our guests are still commenting on how this was the BEST wedding they had ever been too. The venue, the food (filet beef just WOW) the daytime staff, the gardens; it was all perfect. I could not recommend this place enough!

Ballymagarvey was the first venue we went to visit and I knew straight away I didn't need to see anymore, not alone are the grounds and all the buildings and interiors stunning but we honestly couldn't get over the level of attention to detail and help there was from all members of staff on the lead up and especially on our wedding day! We had a dedicated wedding planner helping us to plan out everything over the months leading up to our wedding and they were so so lovely, kind and helpful to deal with and on the day a dedicated wedding coordinator who was just incredible! She stayed with us throughout the day she was there to take my bag and put it somewhere safe when we were taking photos, she brought us drinks and food during the photos, helped with our 3 and 4 year old boys when they decided they?d had enough and we were trying to settle them she went and got sandwiches for them and ribena that my 3 year old was crying for all while rushing back to hold up my dress as I carried my little boy back to the room, I honestly have never felt so special in my whole life I literally felt like a princess, I know some people may find the price per head on the higher side but for all that's included it is so so worth it, people are still talking about how amazing the food and drinks were and how the day was so smoothly ran and there was always food and drinks available, I honestly could never have imagined a more perfect venue and day! I would highly advise anyone thinking of booking here to just do it you couldn't possibly regret it the staff are just second to none, I wish I could do it all over again just so I could go and see all the amazing staff!

From the start Rachel was a pleasure to deal with, we picked the Vintage Lace package and it really did have everything we wanted, from food to drink and decorating the venue. The staff went above and beyond on the day of our wedding and it was noticed by ourselves and our guests. We got so many compliments on how amazing the venue was and our guests said they had never been to such a beautiful venue before. There really isn't any words to describe the day we had with our family and friends and that was down to Rachel in our planning and Jonathan on the day of our wedding. We felt so comfortable and relaxed on the day and in particular for myself as the bride, Lisa was like a second mam to me, helping me with my dress and keeping me calm. Lisa really made my morning and herself and her colleague couldn't have done anymore for us. The bridal room to get ready on the morning is a great option. What can we say about Ballymagarvey Village as a wedding venue! It is out of this world we couldn't imagine having our day anywhere else. From the very start when we viewed Ballymagarvey we knew this was the venue for us. The staff were so attentive and always went the extra mile for us. No request was too much to ask for.

Everything ran so smoothly on the day, myself and Sean didn't have to lift a finger and we knew we were in the safest hands. The staff were on the ball at every angle and being an exclusive wedding venue really demonstrates the focus on attention to detail as Ballymagarvey is so experienced in this industry. Our coordinator Niall was amazing. He was so responsive and went through the finer details to ensure we included everything we wanted. He greeted us on the day to again ensure everything was going as planned and assisted in some last minute changes. They have close relationships with suppliers which really helped on the day and again allowed for the smooth running of the day.

Right up until checkout, staff were so courteous and accommodating. We didn't want to leave! We cannot wait to visit again. It really is the venue of a lifetime and the best decision we made.

Where do we even start... Ballymagarvey was nothing short of 5 stars on all fronts. They were very flexible and accommodating in the planning stages, and were also very responsive to our queries. They let us come up during any open evening to have a look around the place prior to our wedding. An important thing for us when picking a venue was to ensure that we could get an exclusive venue but which had plenty of accommodation onsite, of which Ballymagarvey does. All members of staff were amazing to deal with, both coming up to the day, on the day and afterwards. Lisa, our coordinator, looked after everything for us, and even held up some umbrellas around me as it began to rain before walking down the aisle! We unfortunately did not get to do a tasting due to covid, but both ourselves and our guests were blown away by the food. The venue is stunning, and you really do get the run of place on your wedding day which is brilliant. We hope we someday get to return to Ballymagarvey as guests at another wedding!! We were delighted with our wedding at Ballymagarvey Village and would thoroughly recommend this venue. Our coordinator Niall was excellent throughout the planning process and made sure that every detail was covered. The Bridal Party chose to get ready in the Barn before the ceremony and it was amazing with Lisa on hand to make sure that we were well taken care of. The Mill Loft was perfect for our ceremony and the stunning grounds made the perfect backdrop for wedding photographs. The food was delicious and staff were on hand to make sure that everything ran smoothly (even popping out to get Shloer for some of our guests). We had an amazing day!

We had the most amazing wedding at Ballymagarvey Village. Everything from booking, and the lead up went so smooth thanks to the communication of our wedding coordinator. Nothing was too much hassle and I always felt at ease knowing my day would go smoothly which is a great feeling when you are organising a wedding with several vendors. The day of the wedding was exceptional, the staff are so professional and helpful, they honestly can't do enough for you. The girl who was in the bridal prep room was amazing, assisting us with breakfast etc, she was brilliant and such a lovely presence on the day. We found Ballymagarvey Village an absolutely amazing venue for our special day. While planning a wedding is stressful, we would do our day again with them it was that phenomenal!
We had an extremely stressful time with COVID, pushing the wedding out, panicking over buying a house and then one of us being in hospital; that was nothing to the venue and the coordinator Alana, and they helped us every step of the way and made the whole processes seem to easy.
From arriving in the Barn on the day, both of us and our wedding party were looked after so well, from the food to the extremely helpful staff making us coffees and getting us any bits we needed (iron board and steamer). The wedding coordinator met with us and made sure we had everything sorted that we needed to hand over. We were guided throughout the day on what we were to do and everyone was so friendly I cannot compliment the staff enough! The food in the venue - WOW!!! From the littles bits in the Barn, to the reception food to the main meal, just unbelievable. I only wished I could have had all of the foods at the main meal (beef, chicken and the vegetarian option) as everyone of our guests praised the food throughout the day and the next day. All of our guests said to us that they not only loved the venue, but their rooms, the Manor House, the grounds, the staff and the ambience that it creates.
Worth every single penny we spent! And we would do it all again without changing a thing. Our friends have even said that they enjoyed it so much they just want to have a copy and paste of our day for their wedding.

He was so responsive answering our (many!) questions, helping with advice and going out of his way to cater for our every need, as well really understanding what we envisioned for our day and setting up/styling the space better than we could have hoped for! Niall is such a credit to the team there and all future couples will be in very safe hands with him! Every one of the team on the day itself were amazing, they kept everything running smoothly and were so friendly and helpful - the service was truly 5-Star from start to finish. So many of our guests commented on the wow factor Ballymagarvey Village so naturally has, as well as the food and service received, with many saying it's the best wedding they've been to and that's down to the hard work of the venue and staff who are exceptional at what they do! After long planning with much help from Celine, our wedding took place in March and what a day it was. Everything was perfect and nothing was ever a bother for any staff.
Every guest has commented on how great the staff were and also how beautiful the venue is.
We only have one issue and its that we can't go back and do it all over again.

The service myself and wife got soon as we visit the grounds to view on our 1st open night to the day after we got married was top class. The friendly staff that worked throughout the two days and done anything they could to help us and our guests. Can't say one fault for ballymcgarvey. From day one our wedding coordinator Rachel was incredible in helping us make it personal but also sorting any last minute table plan changes due to cancellations.

The day couldn't have run smoother, every member of staff was ready to help with any question big or small. Leading up to the day, alot of family advised us to take 30 minutes for ourselves to let it all sink in, Ballymagarvey already had this planned and even saved us some food from the reception.

Bottom line, we went with them based on reputation and although it might be slightly pricier then the average...it was worth every cent. Cannot recommend enough

I cannot recommend Ballymagarvey enough as a wedding venue. Lisa, Rachel, Kristina and the whole team could not have been more helpful in the planning of our wedding. We were guided through every step and they responded to all our queries in the most professional way. No stage of the planning process with Ballymagarvey was stressful as we were in communication regularly. Lisa ensured that every detail of our day was organised perfectly. Our guests all commented on how beautiful the food and venue was and also praised all the staff on the day.

From the very beginning nothing was too much too ask.
Niall was always a phonecall or email away.. cant rate the staff and facilities highly enough. All guests had a fantastic day and were amazed by the venue. if we where to do it all again we wouldn't change a thing..

The whole day was amazing from start to finish. All the staff at Ballymagarvey Village were so helpful and professional. We were made feel so at ease. Lisa was so friendly and helpful in the barn where the girls got ready, would highly recommend the barn. Our guests are still raving about the beautiful venue. I cant recommend this venue enough . It is such a beautiful venue , my wedding guests were blown away . We had both the ceremony and the afters in Ballymagarvey . The staff were so professional , the food was excellent and our whole day was amazing. I didnt need to worry about anything as the staff were on hand to take care of all of our needs. Where to start? we had our wedding day at ballymagarvey village 10.10.2022. 18 months ago we booked our wedding here and from then right up to the morning of the wedding Rachel was by my side every step of the way. She was there through the tears and tantrums and always made my feel so reassured and calmed me down . There is not enough words that I could say to explain this place. It's so magical. Phenomenal venue, staff, food and atmosphere, we felt absolutely spoiled from the moment we arrived. We were absolutely blown away by how well everything was for our wedding day. Every staff member took care of our guests & ourselves so well on the day. Lisa took care of us in the Barn house on arrival that morning & nobody could have wanted for anything such a lovely lady. Jonathan the event manager took over for the rest of the day & he was a pleasure to deal with he was right by our side to help out in any way he could. The service & attention to detail was far above what we had even expected. The food was amazing too & we couldn't have our tasting due to covid but that did not matter everyone was still talking about the beef & Guinness pie starter the next day.

We celebrated our wedding on October 14th 2021, after postponing twice. We fell in love with the venue before we even viewed it, and they far exceeded our expectations on the day of the wedding. The staff, specifically Lisa and Kristina were there for us the entire day, they couldn't have done anything more to make us feel relaxed and taken care of. Our one minor issue was with the dinner, our band were delayed setting up by about 1.5 hours as dinner service ran over our planned time frame. We?re not entirely sure what caused the delay, but we did have to ask the staff to clear tables so that they could set up. But apart from that, we had an amazing day! The food and wine were also delicious, and the decor, as expected was beautiful.

After 3 rescheduled dates, we finally got to go ahead with our wedding in Ballymagarvey in October. The whole day from start to finish was perfect. Special thanks to Alana and Greg for making everything run so smoothly. We had a ball.

This was the first venue we viewed for our wedding and knew straight away that nothing would compare to it and booked it straight away. Our wedding day was the most magical day from start to finish albeit when my Mother and Brother were sent to the wrong door by a member of staff and missed Sarah coming down the aisle. My Mother was very disappointed that the ceremony went ahead before she was seated.

Ballymagarvey is so magical! Even with the smaller number of guests in the dinning hall it was organised so well that the room didn't feel too spread out! We dealt with Louise who answered all of my many questions in the lead up to the wedding so quickly, and Caroline was our coordinator on the day who made sure everything was running to plan and we were where we needed to be. Victor was in the bar in the evening making sure everyone was happy aswell. All of the guests commented on how amazing the venue was from start to finish. The reception and dinner is delicious, the amazing grounds, the decor in the entire venue, the rooms, the breakfast the next morning, but honestly the staff couldn't she more helpful. I cannot recommend Ballymagarvey and Rachel (our coordinator) enough. Planning a wedding during a pandemic is very stressful. After postponing our day from 2020, it really meant the world to us that we got our day in 2021. Rachel went above and beyond to ensure we got the most amazing day despite the hurdles and covid restrictions. Nothing was too big an ask. She did her utmost to ensure we had a relaxing and stress free experience right the way through the planning process. She was so prompt and responsive in answering all our calls and emails which were probably more frequent than normal wedding planning given the constant changing trajectory of covid restrictions in the months leading up to the wedding.

On the day itself, the staff could not have been more obliging. They made every guest feel so welcomed and special. Their attention to detail and the quality of service is impeccable. Not only did they make myself and my husband feel constantly looked after, they extended this courtesy to all of our guests also, ensuring each person had everything they needed.

The quality of the food is second to none. Also the grounds and setting were so beautiful. Many of our guests commented on the standard of the food and everyone thoroughly enjoyed taking photos in the beautiful surroundings.

Muireann was our coordinater and was extremely helpful and flexible, with everything we asked for. The service on the day of the wedding was brilliant. From the morning of the wedding in the Bridal room, Lisa took such great care of us. The whole day Caroline and Greg couldn't have done anything more for us. They really made sure that we were looked after. Everyone who attended the wedding thought the venue was great and complimented the food, service and grounds. It was simply a 5 star experience. Ballymagarvey was exceptional. We starting planning our wedding well in advance of our original date, about 2 years, when Covid-19 didn't even exist. From initially walking through the doors of one of their viewings the attention to detail was evident. They really are great at what they do. When Covid-19 changed everything Ballymagarvey was excellent, accommodating and above all fair in working with us as restrictions came and went and came back again. In the end we went ahead with 6 guests at our wedding and all of us had an amazing time. For a business that was obviously effected by the pandemic it was great to see the happiness in all the staff at being able to host us, a true sign of a good choice of staff. Our wedding planner Celine could not do enough to help us and we're not sure what we would have done without her. As always the attention to detail was excellent and everyone was just lovely. I would advise anyone I can to go to Ballymagarvey, the whole experience was easy, and I know I mentioned before but I feel they went above and beyond with accommodating us with the uncertainty around Covid-19 restrictions. We loved every minute.

We piggy-backed on Sin?ad's sister's wedding after our original date last August couldn't go ahead due to COVID19 restrictions. To say that Rachel at Ballymagarvey was accommodating is an understatement. Our plans had to change regularly due to evolving government guidelines but Rachel made the entire process as smooth as possible. The event ended up going ahead with 2 couples and 6 guests but we didn't feel for a second on the day that any effort was compromised on the part of the hosts. Met on arrival with champagne, beautiful full fires lit in the gorgeous reception rooms, fantastic staff and bar man (special shout out to Anthony for sourcing a keg of Guinness during a national stout drought). Communication in the run up to the event was always clear and faultless. I can only imagine the complexity of ensuring one bride experiences a perfect wedding day - but Rachel and Ballymagarvey managed to ensure both couples had a day we'll remember forever.

This venue & staff are really the last word in wedding venues. It was the most magical place any of us had every been & all guests all day just would not stop commenting on how everything about Ballymagarvey was unreal. We booked our wedding in a COVID date change & Ballymagarvey pulled everything together for us in 10 days. And it was perfect. The service was the best we've had in Ireland & the best team work there. We are trying to convince anyone else we know getting married to choose Ballymagarvey because we want to go back. Couldn't express enough how much we loved it & they have something extra special going on at Ballymagarvey.

From the moment we set foot in Ballymagarvey Village, we knew it would be the perfect place for our wedding. Every time we visited, the staff was very friendly and welcoming. Celine, our wedding coordinator in the weeks coming up to our wedding, was so helpful and easy to talk to. We had to postpone our original day due to government restrictions and we found them to be very accommodating in making sure our new date was just a wonderful as our original date would have been. We found them to very understanding and as helpful as possible, despite the very difficult situation the entire wedding industry has been in for the last 12 months. Even though we had much smaller numbers than originally planned, we still got the full Ballymagarvey experience. We decided quite close to our day to have a dinner with all of our guests the evening before our wedding, in Ballymagarvey. This was great because it allowed our guests to arrive the day before which eliminated travel on the day of the wedding, and it made the whole event seem more relaxed. The event staff on the day were absolutely superb, particularly Jonathan, Daniel & Lisa. Having your wedding in Ballymagarvey Village is like stepping into a different world for a day and it is definitely a luxury experience. We would be happy to recommend Ballymagarvey Village as a wedding venue.

We can't rate the Ballymagarvey Village high enough! From beginning booking and preparations to the day of the wedding all staff involved were absolutely fantastic-nothing was too much trouble. Our wedding was booked for March and was postponed due to lockdown for Covid 19. The Ballymagarvey were extremely flexible with booking alternate dates and our coordinator Lisa was very responsive via email and phone to support us through the stress. We really couldn't have picked a better venue for our wedding. We were treated like royalty the whole day and all guests were blown away by the beauty of the venue, the service of the staff and the amazing food! Would absolutely recommend to anyone!!

We had a brilliant wedding in Ballmagarvey. A disappointment however on the day was that there was no fire pits(no explanation as to why they weren't on). They were a huge selling point on the open day.
A few things were forgotten on the day eg. Sticks with banner were made for end of ceremony, they were given to staff but no where to be seen. Asked staff on the night where the flipglops were we provided? They were located eventually.
Slow response from wedding coordinator for some emails.
Some rooms had no heating on the night.
No refund on guests canceling was disappointing.
Otherwise we thoroughly thought it was executed brilliantly.

Not only did we have the most amazing experience throughout the day but all our guests made a point of saying how magical the place was. Outstanding venue and staff from start to finish. Everything went totally smoothly, Lucile was fantastic in helping us plan it all and Oliver expertly managed the day. In particular, his idea to bring us to a separate room for a few minutes to relax before the dinner was hugely appreciated and a real highlight of the day. The menu tasting evening was also a stand-out memory, and very helpful in the planning process. The food was incredible, the bar was well-staffed, and the rooms were perfect. Every guest enjoyed the day and commented on how great the venue and the staff were. We would not change a thing. As we said to Oliver, you even sorted out the weather for us!!

We were so pleased with our wedding at Ballymagarvey Village. From our very first contact with the venue we found everyone very helpful, especially Rachel Gantly. The setting and the food is amazing, our guests were in awe. We had a winter wedding which was spectacular and made so special with all the Christmas decoration and the effort everyone makes.

Disgraceful customer service. No refund on deposit despite not being able to cater to original numbers and is being stuck in a foreign country. Less than accomodating when we tried to change date, and wouldn't offer us same date the following year because they were being kept as back up dates for other couples who had their weddings booked on different days.
Would highly recommend looking elsewhere as we did and were much more accomodating and more about the couple than the money unlike Ballymagarvey

We were told that Ballymagarvey was an amazing venue from a number of sources and it did not disappoint. We were absolutely thrilled with Ballymagarvey as our reception venue. We had a 2 day reception with our guests and we received impeccable care and service. The staff really could not do enough to ensure we and our guests were enjoying ourselves.

Guests are still raving about the reception, including the food from both the reception meal and the day 2, the excellent bar staff and the attention to detail to the little things including ensuring our little personal touches were perfectly arranged throughout. The operations team is a well oiled machine and the whole thing went off absolutely perfectly, hats off to Jill and Caroline.

Our coordinator Lucile was also excellent and was on hand to find solutions when the accommodation that we were staying prior to the wedding had a hot water problem. Thankfully it was sorted with that host however it was a great comfort knowing that Lucile was there to help, even after hours.

One small hiccup we had was turnover of coordinators over the year leading up to our wedding. This did create some mix-ups, for example missing out on food tasting as we were flying in from overseas, HOWEVER my experience immediately before, during and after the wedding day far exceeded my expectations and that's the most important thing.

Overall, I would 500% recommend Ballymagarvey Village to anyone. It was a truly magical experience and I really appreciate all the effort that the team put it in to make it so.

All of the staff involved from the open evening right up until the morning after were just exceptional. We literally had the best day thanks to all the staff in Ballymagarvey - Amy was our coordinator and she could not have been more helpful. On the day John helped ensure everything ran smoothly and was both a complete professional and wonderfully friendly and easy to be around.

Ballymagarvey specialises in weddings , they know exactly what they're doing and it really shows with how easily everything flows but all the staff still seem enthusiastic about your wedding day - I literally have no idea how they do it but it's incredible. Special mention for Joe the barman who was great craic and made fabulous cocktails all night (something a lot of venues won't do).

My Husband and I had our wedding and civil ceremony at Ballymagarvey Village in October 2019. The venue is absolutely beautiful, there are so many picture-perfect locations for photos and the banquet hall is stunning. We attended open evenings in advance of our wedding day to meet with vendors and to work on details, each time we were warmly greeted by John and Oliver who answered all of our queries and were very professional.

I got ready at Ballymagarvey with my bridesmaids on the morning of my wedding and Lisa Hewitt was exceptional, she took excellent care of us and went above and beyond to ensure our bridal breakfast and preparation went perfectly. Caroline was our event manager on the day and her kindness, responsiveness, and expertise are just a few things on the long list of reasons she was incredible. The bar and banqueting staff were attentive to every detail and the food was fantastic, Oliver was brilliant and ensured that our top table and all of our guests were happy, he is a credit to Ballymagarvey and really puts your mind at ease with so much happening on the day.

I would warn couples to be very clear on the terms with regard to room bookings as they are quite inflexible. We had some very disappointing experiences with the reservations team, as did a number of our guests. We had called on a few occasions to book rooms and to make amendments, One member of staff was incredibly rude and quite defensive, on one occasion she stated that 'she knew her job? and refused to cooperate with one of our guests who needed to cancel a booking two weeks in advance of our wedding as their child minding arrangements had fallen through. We were embarrassed to receive feedback like this from friends before our big day and it was a cause of concern for us as other guests were traveling some distance to stay on the night of the wedding. Most upsettingly, a very sentimental item has been lost, a wedding cake knife used by my parents to cut their wedding cake was to be put out for us to cut our own wedding cake. This knife was never put out at the time of the cake cutting, nor has it been recovered since the wedding despite our request to locate it. As my mother had passed away a few years ago, she was not present on the day and the wedding cake knife is still missing, my family are very upset by this. Our wedding coordinator managed the details and timeline for the day but I couldn't help but feel that sometimes we were just another couple passing through, the next morning when I approached her about the missing cake knife she seemed preoccupied with preparations for the next wedding and said she would call me to follow up, she never did.

What an amazing venue can't recommend it enough. From the time we arrived to when we left the following day we were treated so well, the staff were very attentive to all our guests.
The food was mouth watering and every one agreed it was one of the most fantastic meals they had in a long time.

Ballymagarvey is everything advertised and more. We could not have imagined a more perfect venue for our wedding. All of our guests were smitten with the entire experience Ballymagarvey provides. Nothing is too much to ask and all of the staff really go above and beyond to create a surreal atmosphere. Big thank you to Caroline and Rachel who without them, our day would not have been as amazing as it was. It's no wonder they won best wedding venue in Ireland 2019. They accolades are much deserved and we were upset when the day was finally over and did not want to leave! Thank you again Ballymagarvey for everything, we really has the best wedding we could have imagined.

My self and Darren had a two day wedding at Ballymagarvey village on September 10th and 11th- 2019. There isn't any words to describe how amazing this venue is and how fantastic the staff were. From the day we viewed this venue with the lovely Carmel - to the tasting night with joe the Barman and Carmel again -we were blown away! The day itself was just magical- everything had the wow factor! The food was out of this world, the professionalism of the staff and friendliness was amazing. Lisa was so lovely looking after us girls in the bridal room and Oliver was just made for his job! Ann who made our breakfast was a laugh a minute and all the wonderful staff on both days made our wedding day perfect! My guests have said they can't go to another wedding now as nothing would live up to the experience they had at Ballymagarvey village. Muireann and Rachael will help you plan and aine will handle your reservations of your guests! Most stress free two day wedding ever and if We could do it all again tomorrow ,we would. Ballymagarvey was an excellent wedding venue. From Booking to the wedding our wedding planner lisa was always on hand to answer any questions and organise things for us both.

On the big day, we felt like royalty. The staff were extremely accommodating and the organisation went off with little fuss and without a hitch. Oliver, Lisa and victor made our day fabulous. The food was excellently served and tasted amazing and the breakfast the day after was fab.

Our guests reported after that they felt very welcomed by ballymagarvey; nothing was too much trouble; and the venue was certainly top of the list compared to other weddings they had been to.

We would highly recommend this beautiful venue.

We arrived to early that day but wasnt a problem , were showing around by one of the housing staf and she was amazing natural funny and new her stuff ...as i say ballymcgarvey sales itself .i would love this job lol as no sale pitch r gimicks needed..... roll on to 18mths later.and everything was a dream..dream day in dream location .by dream staff.
I just turned up and it ran like clock work .. staf from arrival to coordinator. To bar, waitress staf ...every singel one of them went above and beyond the duties..very comfortable atmosphere made...

All the staff are hands down amazing it made organising a wedding from overseas so easy. The venue its self is out of this world everything we wanted and more can not fault it. Everything was perfect and we couldn't be happier we choose such an amazing place to host our special day.

There were a few hickups in the run up to the wedding but the staff always worked to find a solution. We had a fantastic wedding in Ballymagarvey Village. I would recommend to a friend. It is expensive but worth it for the overall experience and food. The service on the day and the wedding co-ordinator were exceptional.

This venue is so incredible and beautiful.When we first viewed here it took our breath away and no other venue we viewed compared to the ballymagarvey. From the minute we booked our wedding we received the most amazing professional help with planning the big day. Each time we visited the ballymagarvey we were greeted with a warm welcome from Vincent and all the staff.The wedding day was set up just perfect and exactly how we planned thanks to Rachel and john. The staff at the ballymagarvey went above and beyond for us and all our guests. Everyone was blown away by the amazing service they received right up until breakfast the next morning. The food was just delicious and our guests are still talking about it. It really is such a magical and fairytale venue to have your special day.

From the open evening through to the wedding day Ballymagarvey were a cut above every other venue we saw. The staff are so courteous and helpful, the venue itself is stunning and meant we didn't have to leave our guests for too long for photos as everything is on site. The recently renovated Ceremony Room in the Mill Loft was stunning. Special thanks to Rachel and Oliver for looking after us.

Absolutely incredible place. The venue and grounds are immaculate and the ceremony and dining hall are just amazing. The food was of a quality i have never experienced at a wedding before, and it blew our guests away with how good every course was. The staff cannot do enough for you, both in the planning stage and on the day, the customer service was faultless. I cannot recommend Ballymagarvey highly enough, and fail to see another venue in Ireland that could match what they do for the same price. You will not be disappointed!!

The service is amazing, the venue is magical, literally the only thing letting it down is the amount of things that went missing in the chaos as you are booted out the door the day after so that another wedding can come in. Leave a bitter aftertaste on an otherwise perfect day. Also the Osborne room doesn't lock from the outside so bride and grooms room (with wedding cards inside) is open to anyone all day and all night!

We booked Ballymagarvey after viewing it in November 2017. We walked in and fell in love, and it was in the process of being cleaned at the time! The venue itself is just unbelievable. It's breathtaking. The staff are incredible. So attentive and professional, but so friendly too! We just couldn't have wished for better. You made our day so magical and memorable and we are very grateful.

Lisa who helped me get ready in the bridal room was amazing. There was nothing she wouldn't do for me and she was just lovely.
Daniel looked after us both all day, he was incredible. He was here there and everywhere making sure we had all we needed.
Rachel helped us from start to finish and I couldn't have planned it without her.

I dont know where to start with ballymagarvey! If you are looking for a fairytale wedding then this is the spot!Brianan our wedding co-ordinator was so helpful and friendly and supported us through every question and query throughout the year of planning.It isnt the best value for money but it is absolutely worth it! The food on the day was beautiful and everything ran seamlessly. In particular Lisa was brillant on the morning of the wedding,making us all cups of tea and coffee and making sure we had everything we needed! Amanda the morning after the wedding was so lovely, knowing we were a bit worse for wear, she made sure we had our breakfast out straight away and plenty of tea, she really looked after us!!! John was absolutely fantastic too, making sure everything went smoothly on the day, we had great crack with him before and during the cermony and he couldnt had done enough for us,he was so easy to be around! Its things like this that really makes a differnece to your day. The room is breath taking!! I have never seen anything like it. Its worth spending that bit extra to have these incredible memories, Ballymagarvey really is the dream!

Our wedding day in Ballymagarvey Village was perfect. The warm welcome we received in the Manor House on our arrival was only the start of a beautiful evening in Ballymagarvey. The attention to detail at the drinks reception and the banquet hall was superb. Our guests were so impressed with the food, friendly service and gorgeous decor. We were so thrilled with our choice of Ballymagarvey and really did have the best day. Our co ordinator Rachel Gantly was extremely helpful during the planning process and was a pleasure to deal with. Daniel and Amanda looked after us on our big day and couldn't have done enough for us. They were so attentive and really made us feel special. Our guests are still commenting on the friendliness and helpfulness of every staff member. The food and wine served for our meal were amazing and we are still hearing about how impressed guests were with their meal. It made us so happy that our guests were really enjoying themselves. I just wish we could do it all over again!

To say that our day in Ballymagarvey was perfect was an understatement. The day was organised like clockwork. Everyone was really helpful and efficient at guiding us through the day. They were happy to set up any extra touches that we wanted for our day. Our wedding coordinator (Lisa) and operations manager (John) were always available to us and showed a genuine interest in making sure our day went perfectly. The food was fantastic with many guests complimenting it afterwards, and drinks were plentiful. The banquet hall was absolutely stunning and the synchronised service during the meal was so impressive. Food allergies were catered for really well. The waiters were extremely attentive and the waiter who showed us around at our viewing was there on the day too(Amanda)and she really looked after us which added a lovely personal feel to the day. The venue is beautifully maintained and there are so many pretty spots for photographs. The whole day was seamless and I would recommend this venue to anyone, it was the most wonderful day!

You could not find a better venue than Ballymagarvey. From the second we arrived we knew that was where we wanted to get married, it is stunning and the dinner room is just the most amazing room you will ever see. The food is superb with a huge amount of choice! The staff here are second to none, they could not do enough for you and that extends to every single member of staff. I still get compliments from any guest I speak to on how amazing the venue was with pretty much everyone agreeing it was the nicest they had ever been to! I cannot give Ballymagarvey a high enough rating! They think of everything and make the planning process easy and stress-free. Honestly, we hadn't a clue about organising a wedding and they guided us through the whole thing with friendliness at all times.

On the day of our wedding, they made us feel so special and had absolutely everything covered. We had a truly amazing time, and so did our guests. One of the goals we had for our wedding was that our guests would have a fun day - and they really, really did! They could not stop complimenting everything about Ballymagarvey - the team, the food, the venue, and all the wonderful little details that make Ballymagarvey so magic.

Ballymagarvey just knew what we needed before we did from the day we booked.. I could not find one thing to fault them. We had an amazing experience from service to food to stunning decor. On 21st November 2018 my wife Emma and I had our wedding reception in Ballymagarvey Village and what an exceptional out of this world experience the management and staff of this venue give to us. Throughout the planning process Lisa Egan, our wedding coordinator was just fantastic, an asset to any wedding venue. Her level of professionalism, attention to detail and overall assistance was somewhat amazing. Ballymagarvey Village as a venue is something we could only describe as a real life fairytale venue. Our first question when selecting this venue was when do the Xmas decorations go up, and on our big day the requested decor did not disappoint. The attention to detail this venue considers when decorating their venue for this time of year is magical. On the day of the wedding the service from the staff, from the receptionists, to the kitchen staff, to the waiters/waitresses/bar staff was just extraordinary, again the staff here at Ballymagarvey showed nothing but 100% professionalism and provided an exception service to us and all our guests. Another special shout out to Caroline our wedding manager on the day. This lady went out of her way, over and beyond her call of duty to assist Emma and I. She made us feel so important and her attention to detail was also exceptional. Ballymagarvey is the definition of exceptional service, and any couple lucky enough to have their wedding at Ballymagarvey Village will not be disappointed. I just want to add that this venue gave us and our guests a day to remember for years to come and we are sincerely grateful for the unbelievable memories Ballymagarvey Village has given us.

We had an absolutely flawless wedding day at Ballymagarvey! The service was out of this world. The food was the best I've ever had at a wedding. The staff have been so helpful from day one, as we were planning our wedding from the states. The venue is so beautiful. We could not have asked for better and our guest were so impressed at the standard and beauty of this venue.

Our Wedding in Ballymagarvey was nothing short of magical. It is the most stunning venue which needs no added decoration. They go above and beyond with their seasonal touches to create a warm and inviting atmosphere. Our guests were blown away by the banquet hall which has such a WOW factor!
The service was top class, there is a huge amount of staff on the day and they are all very personable and professional. They treated us like royalty! Ballymagarvey Village has been fanstastic to deal with. Every request we made during the planning stages of our wedding was always answered with a ?Yes? and ?No problem? Our Wedding coordinator responded quickly to all emails and made sure we felt at ease in the led up to the big day.
The food is of a high standard with very generous servings. They were very accommodating for guests with dietary requirements also.
We are still receiving compliments about the venue, service and food from guests.
Ballymagarvey is such a special venue and we had the most amazing wedding celebration there!

Ballymagarvey catered for everyone that had the oddest food issues and the food itself was out of this world. To this day I'm still told by family and friends that it was the best wedding they have gone to, this is a true reflection of the staff and the venue.

You really made our day so so special, all of our guests could not believe all of the efforts that all of the staff went to. The venue is so amazing and I don't think I have the words to truly describe how much we appreciate everything and a lovely touch receiving the book of the history of Ballymagarvey which was beautiful. We knew from the moment we set foot in Ballymagarvey Village that it was the venue we had dreamt about holding our wedding in! Before then, we didn't know that such a venue existed here in Ireland. We were struck immediately by how welcoming and professional every member of staff were and we had full confidence that they would help us to have an enjoyable and stress free wedding day, which they absolutely did! The venue itself is stunning in every aspect and every detail, with a charming country chic style that is sympathetic to the previous use of the buildings and their surroundings. Our wedding coordinator, Lisa Egan was so great at helping us to plan the perfect day. On the day itself, John, the operations manager was there helping to keep us all stay calm and relaxed, making everything run smoothly and cracking jokes. We were totally stress free! The entire team at Ballymagarvey are a pleasure to work with. Always very quick to respond to emails and on the day they were very attentive and professional. I couldn't give a full 5/5 for their flexibility due to the certain terms and conditions that have to be respected by the couple (no confetti or glow sticks that kind of small thing) but their reasons for each stipulation are understandable. Likewise for value they are very up front about the fact that there is no bargaining so I can't complain but it's always nice to feel like something could be thrown in as a little extra.

Ballymagarvey was an amazing venue. We couldn't have been happier to have our wedding there, service was 5 star quality and our guests from home and abroad couldn't get over how beautiful the setting was and how well they were looked after. A little bit on the expensive side but overall it was worth the money!

Myself and Aoife were due to get married in Ballymagarvey on Match 3rd 2018. We were so impressed with their grounds, their staff and food that we really couldn't wait to experience it all with our family and friends.
Unfortunately that week there was a snow storm which failed to clear in time for our day resulting in us having to cancel and reschedule our wedding the day before. As you can imagine it was a busy, stressful and extraordinary situation for both ourselves and Ballymagarvey. Luckily, with the help of Lisa Egan, we managed to rearrange a date for May 7th and had the best and sunniest day of our lives! We had so many comments about how amazing the place looked, how delicious the food was and how helpful and friendly the staff were, from our impressed friends and family. We couldn't recommend Ballymagarvey higher and look forward to one day returning.

The venue is stunning and well looked after by a dedicated and passionate team. Sean and I had a blast celebrating our wedding at Ballymagarvey - and we planned it from afar - from Sydney Australia!

Lisa our Account Manager/liaion from the viewing to booking, to the planning handled all our random enquiries and niggly questions from afar over email and skype. She noted all the small details and it was great to actually see her on the big day too!

As an Event Producer myself I was extremely happy with the service and attention to detail. Caroline (Ops Manager on the day) was professional, personable and understood just what we needed when we needed it. She along with our celebrant leads us through the day, put us an ease. I will never forget... when cutting the three tier cake... cut the middle tear - thanks Caroline!! :)

It was also great to get feedback from other staff the following day saying how much they enjoyed themselves too... the joy and love rubbed off on everyone! :) It's great to see people doing what they love.

Thanks so much to everyone who made the day (and the following day) so amazing for us and out guests... half of whom flew from across the world to be there with us.

So very happy with Ballymagarvey... will always be a special place for Sean and I.

Ballymagarvey were incredible to us and helped us have the best day we could have asked for. We looked around a few places with similar look and feels but Ballymagarvey were far better in terms of value for money and hospitality. Would 100% recommend to anyone wanting a magical wedding in the most beautiful venue.

I cannot rate Ballymagarvey Village highly enough. The staff were amazing throughout the whole process, nothing was ever an issue and I had some mad requests! I was looked after so well on the day and they really make sure everything goes to plan and all family and guests have the best day ever. The rooms are all beautiful, the food was amazing and the only way to describe the atmosphere was magical.

I loved my wedding day at Ballymagarvey. It was the only venue we went to visit as we were happy that it ticked all the boxes from first viewing. It is a gorgeous venue and I highly recommend it. Where I do think it falls down though is that it's really inflexible. Before I booked my friend compared it to a conveyer belt for weddings... which is exactly what it is. Any request we had was hit with a hard no. In saying that they are excellent at what they do so the approach is obviously working!

Ballymagarvey Village was a dream wedding come true. We planned every detail of the whole day from abroad, yet the wedding coordinators were so incredible that it went so smoothly on the day! The grounds were gorgeous, our guests loved staying in all the unique rooms on the property, and we loved being able to utilize the entire property exclusively. We had a woman in the bridal suite all morning to help us with anything we needed and she provided us coffee and tea all morning. We then had John, who made sure everyone was on time and in the right place all day long. He even fluffed my dress up just before I walked down the aisle - he was a star! The attention to detail from the staff was impeccable, the service incredible, the food SO delicious and the venue so gorgeous. I have only positive things to say about the entire experience! Thank you again!

Ballymagarvey was an amazing wedding venue. I would highly recommend this venue for anyone planning a wedding. The team are so professional and they leave no stone unturned to ensure the day is enjoyable for couple and guests. The venue itself is stunning and needs very little additional decoration/flowers but of course you can put your own stamp on it. If I could I would do it all over again...love love love this venue!!

Had the most amazing wedding day at Ballymagarvey Village. It is a stunning venue with photo opportunities everywhere! The staff were so friendly and helpful and the the food was delicious. All of our guests commented on the excellent service and presentation of the dinner. What we loved about Ballymagarvey was that it felt like our home that day and night.

Ballymagarvey and their staff are exceptional wedding experts, everything was seamless and it was the best decision we made to have our wedding there.
The staff in particular cannot do enough for you and your guests and that stands out for everyone to see. We would highly recommend Ballymagarvey to any couple for their wedding.

Ballymagarvey Village is a phenomenal wedding venue. Eimear, our wedding coordinator, made sure we were happy with every detail in the run up to the big day and answered any questions we had in no time. From the moment we walked in there on the day of our wedding, everything was taken care of. Not only is it magnificent to look at (the banquet hall is out of this world) but the staff are the most attentive, professional and caring we have ever come across. I couldn't recommend Ballymagarvey highly enough.

Had an unbelievable wedding weekend in Ballymagarvey in January. We chose off peak month so that we could avail of Day-2 package and were delighted we did. Essentially it felt like our own home for the weekend and all of our guests commented on how relaxed and friendly the atmosphere was. My 99year old grandmother was treated like the Queen for the weekend by the staff who were so kind to her. Our nieces and nephews had loads of fun exploring the grounds and were happy too! Everyone was so professional, our every whim was attended to. We cannot praise the staff enough - so impressive. Food was sensational. Setting was beautiful - got gorgeous photos on the grounds. Cannot find a single fault from start to finish - would recommend Ballymagarvey in a heartbeat!

From the beginning of our day at Ballymagarvey the staff were so attentive that my wife and I felt totally stress free. Every one of our guests, without fail, commented on their professionalism and courtesy. From our arrival, through dinner to the after party nothing was too much trouble. Obviously the village and surrounding grounds are magnificent and I wouldn't hesitate in using that word to describe the staff as well. I would recommend the venue in a heartbeat for the whole experience especially the organisation, the meal - which was outstanding - and even before our big day our wedding planner Niamh, who kept in regular contact, addressing even our smallest concerns in a timely manner.

From the moment we arrived at Ballymagarvey on our first visit for an open evening, we were blown away. Everyone was so friendly and professional, we knew this was the venue for us. We quickly reserved our date and got planning. From the start we were helped along the way by the amazing Veronica; nothing was too big an ask for her. As the day approached, Veronica was as excited as we were which made the day seem even more special.
We had a Bridal Breakfast on the morning of the wedding in the most beautiful room which was ours to use as we pleased. We arrived in our PJ's and relaxed drinking Champagne, eating the most amazing breakfast provided by the in-house chef, and having our hair and make-up done by my glam squad. We then moved over to the main house to get dressed before the ceremony. As we are not religious, we opted for a Humanist ceremony which was so personal to us and which Ballymagarvey led itself so well to.
We then moved over to the main house for drinks and canap?'s and our guests loved the homely feel of the main house. Dinner was called at 5.30pm and everyone was again taken away by the beauty of the banquet hall. Fairy lights, trees and exposed brick led themselves to our rustic wedding, and everyone commented how beautiful the room was.
All of our guests commented how beautiful the venue was and the food and service was amazing.
Mary helped us on the night, she was there for anything we needed but her entire team are so professional, everything went without incident.
I can't recommend them enough, we had the most enjoyable wedding, as a Bride it can be very stressful planning a wedding and I was doing it from London, but Veronica and Mary made the process so easy, and I didn't have to worry about anything on the day, they looked after all the details for me. I wish I could do it all over again xx

Very easy to deal with, any request we had Muireann offered us massive support and advise to make our big day very special.

We knew from the moment we went to view Ballymagarvy Village that there was nowhere else we would even consider for our Wedding Day. Our Wedding Co Ordinator was Mary Troy who went above and beyond to make sure every detail & everything we asked for was done to perfection on the day. I booked the newly furnished Bridal Prep room to get ready in the morning of the Wedding, it was fantastic, when I arrived that morning, breakfast was prepared & waiting for us, my make up artist & hairdresser were set up & ready to go. The morning flowed brilliantly, no hassle or stress, I would highly recommend any bride to avail of this facility.
Our Cermony was at 3pm in the Beautiful setting of the Loft Cermony room, it's just stunning, private, & exactly what we wanted, decorated beautifully with flowers from Arbour Blooms, Ballymagarvy's recommend florists, they did a marvellous job.
Our drinks reception just flowed brilliantly, & so did the drinks & canap? service, the staff here were just amazing, we were allowed download our favourite songs & play them in the back round which really made our reception more personal to us, & also we had our speeches in the Manor House before our dinner, making the day more relaxed for everyone involved, it's the small personal touches that made the big difference to us.
Our dinner in the Banqueting hall was exquisite, as always this beautifully decorated room took everyone's breath away, the food was Excellant, everyone still talks about how good the food & the service staff were, the staff were always on hand, to help anyone with their choice of dinner on the menu, & no glass was left empty, the waiting staff were always on hand topping up everyone's glasses, true professionals.
I cannot praise Ballymagarvey enough for giving myself & my husband Mark, the day we had always dreamed of. A massive Thank You to John Regan our manager on the day, he was brilliant, always calm, funny & on hand to do anything we asked for, he is a huge asset to Ballymagarvy. We were blessed to have him with us on the Day.
I cannot recommend this venue enough. It's six weeks now after our Wedding Day, & our guests are still talking about the fantastic day they had. All thanks to the staff & the stunning setting of Ballymagarvy Village. I wish I could do it all over again.

From the very beginning of our wedding planning when we first booked Ballymagarvey back in 2014, everyone went out of their way to be as helpful, as friendly and as accommodating as possible. It really did make our planning that much more exciting, special and absolutely stress free to work with everyone and Niamh- you were just amazing and I looked forward to our catch up calls and emails! :)

Our guests were not only blown away by the staff- they were absolutely overwhelmed by the beauty of Ballymagarvey itself! As was I when I first came to visit a few days prior to the wedding- I was absolutely blown away and felt so lucky that we were getting married at such a beautiful place! The venue is just beyond anything I could have imagined- just so incredibly beautiful and the atmosphere all throughout the day was pure magic! So many of our friends had travelled from England, Australia and NZ, visiting Ireland for the first time and they were all saying it was such an incredible place for them to visit and they couldn't wait to come over for their next trip to the Emerald Isle :)

I could continue on about how wonderful a day, and how amazing a venue Ballymagarvey is, but I shall leave it as this. We hope one day we get the opportunity to be invited back to a wedding at Ballymagarvey as guests!

I have to say all the staff were fantastic, particularly Veronica who helped us prepare for the day. The finishing touches were superb, the venue was even better than I had hoped. I cannot recommend this place enough and would very much encourage anyone considering this venue to attend an open evening at the very least. In terms of cost it was also very affordable. Lastly, the rooms were amazing - all our guests raved about the rooms, food and pretty much everything! It was one of the greatest days of my life and I cannot thank Ballymagarvey enough!

This place is magical. The venue is out of this world. The staff are super friendly and take care of all your requests with no problem. The food is 5 stars. I'm hoping someone I know will get married there so me and my wife can go back as a guest. I would one million percent recommend this venue to anyone looking to book somewhere. We booked as soon as we saw the venue.

What can I say about Ballymargarvey...... From the very minute we walked through the doors on our first visit we fell in love with the place, and knew instantly it would be the place we would get married. The staff were also a huge selling point. Every person we had any contact with were so warm and welcoming. In the 18 months from setting our date to the big day itself our wedding coordinator Niamh could not have been more helpful, always on hand to answer any of my queries. The day itself could not have been more perfect. We were lucky that the weather was fabulous, so the house and the grounds all looked amazing. Our guests were blown away by Ballymagarvey, it was even better than they had all expected. We would do it all again in the morning if we could, and would recommend Ballymagarvey to any future Bride and Groom out there, you really won't regret it.

The team at ballymagarvey were so professional and helped us in creating the wedding day we both envisaged and created a magical experience. From the viewing to the booking and the pre hand arrangements they were carried out to the highest quality and nothing was an obstacle. Myself and my now husband Ryan celebrated our wedding day at Ballymagarvey Village in July 2016.
We live in Australia and had to plan everything from overseas. Our Wedding Planner Muireann was absolutely fantastic and made the organisation of our special day so easy for us and stress free.

The venue itself is absolutely breath taking and out of this world. It certainly speaks for itself.
The staff however are absolutely amazing and their attention to detail on our special day was phenomenal.

This venue is the no.1 in Ireland!! The professionalism from the open night to your special day is second to none... I was so upset my day was over because this meant I wouldn't see all my friends I made at the venue over my 2 years planning. The wedding co-ordinators are exquisite the food is out of this world I did it receive one complaint the soup was on special request everyone looking for the recipe... I want to thank all the staff I cannot express how much I appreciate all there help and hard work on our day and the run up!!

Ballymacgarvey village is an absolutely beautiful wedding venue. We got married in July 2016 and everything on the day was just perfect. Fantastic food, brilliant staff and a stunning venue.

We had such a fantastic wedding day in Ballymagarvey. The food, staff and attention to detail was just outstanding. We knew what a good reputation Ballymagarvey Village had so we were happy to just sit back and let them do what they do best! For weeks after the wedding we were hearing wonderful feedback from our guests about the service and what a great day they had. Special thank you to Niamh (our wedding coordinator), John, who did an exceptional job looking after us on the day) and last but not least to Ellie who's name we heard mentioned in praise by all our family afterwards! We just wish we could go back and do it all over again!

The planning process with our planner Muireann was such a pleasure, we really looked forward to every meeting and this insured that our actual wedding day was spectacular. Ballymagarvey were so accommodating to all of our requests and were delighted to include our little doggie too. Ballymagarvey made our wedding day as special as I imagined when I was a young girl. The staff were all so helpful and incredible. They couldn't do enough for you. The venue was out of this world with the most stunning rooms and banquet hall. And the food was incredible!!! Everything was 100% perfect. Couldn't have wished for a better day. Would highly recommend to anyone. I can't wait to go back to renew our vows in 10 years to do it all again ;-) x

We attended the wedding of our niece at this wonderful venue. The house is very well maintained with plenty of comfortably sized reception rooms, with very good furnishings that really suit the house. We didn't stay in the accommodation, but the rooms we saw, were perfect, all decently sized, in top condition, with very good beds and furnishings. The room used for the wedding dinner was beautifully decorated. The food was very good, and well presented. The staff without exception were top class, very friendly and nothing was too much trouble for them.

We got married here in February 2016 and couldn't have imagined having our wedding anywhere else. We fell in love with it the first time we saw it and just knew it was the venue for us. From the time we booked until the wedding was over, the staff were so attentive to all of our needs. They were always so accommodating to changes we wanted to make. The food was to die for, people are still talking about it now :) Our wedding day was simply perfect, couldn't fault a single thing.
Niamh our wedding planner was amazing as was John the manager who was there on the day for anything we needed. The team at Ballymagarvey really go above and beyond to make your day so special. They were so friendly from the start and always remembered our names every time we visited, we really loved that about the staff.
My only wish is that we could go back and do it all over again, we wouldn't change a single thing.

From the moment we walked into Ballymagarvey, we knew we'd get married here. We live in England and about 75% of our guests do too, so we needed a venue where everyone could stay the night. We were also having our wedding at the venue, so wanted somewhere that had a specific ceremony room. Ideally we'd have loved to have Ballymagarvey for the whole weekend, but that meant waiting a couple of years! Niamh was our wedding planner and she couldn't have been more helpful or accommodating with our requests. We knew she was always there at the end of the phone if we needed her and we completely trusted her and the team. The food was incredible and there was so much of it (our guests still rave about the food), and the food tasting evening was an added bonus. It was a shame we couldn't get into the venue on the day until 2ish to get ready, but since our wedding, I see they've added a bridal parlour where the bride can get ready and have breakfast with her bridesmaids, so obviously a lot of other people felt the same and they're listening to what people want.

I wish we could do it all over again - and I wouldn't change anything as Ballymagarvey know how to host the perfect wedding.
