We are two people who hate the camera naturally and cannot pose - however with a little guidance, a lot of patience and good fun we now have the most amazing pictures. Mark and Fiona listened to exactly what we wanted and we so so delighted with the output!

Most importantly though they were both great craic, nothing was a hassle and they made everyone feel so comfortable! The process was very easy from start to finish - I would sum up the experience as absolute professionalism delivered in a laid back style!!

Mark and Fiona have a relaxed, fun vibe which is just what we wanted on the wedding day. They know exactly what they are doing and so were able to capture the photos we requested and still give us plenty of time to enjoy our drinks reception and time with guests. The Fennells provided the photography and videography for our wedding on 25/10/21 in Faithlegg House Hotel. From the moment I read about them on weddingsonline, to looking at their portfolios online, it really was a no-brainer. Their work is incredible! Speaking to Mark really sealed the deal. He is so warm, professional, understanding and answered all of our (many!) questions. Throughout wedding planning in a pandemic, Mark and Fiona were so understanding of our date changes, and were as flexible as possible with rearranging a new date each time. On the day, their positive energy really added to the excitement of the whole day, they really kept the show on the road! Honestly, I felt like they were just two more friends who had joined the party! We received our photos and videos this week and I haven't stopped looking at them since. We are absolutely thrilled with them. We chose to do an engagement shoot with Mark before the wedding, and I would highly recommend doing this to all couples too as it taught us a lot about what to do and what not to do for our photos on the wedding day. (Top tip: Chatting too much while getting your photographs taken leads to funny facial expressions!! :-)) Honestly, I couldn't recommend Mark and Fiona highly enough to anyone looking for wedding photographers and videographers or indeed someone to capture any big event in your life. What can we say, Mark & Fiona were a dream to have as our wedding photographers. They are professional, fun and very efficient. They're attention to detail is second to none with nothing left uncaptured. We are thrilled with our photos and would highly recommend to any wedding couple.

Mark and Fiona were fantastic to work with from start to finish. We had to move our wedding date 3 times due to Covid and they were so accommodating of all the changes and quick to respond which really helped with our planning. On day the of the wedding, Mark as great at keeping us to schedule, especially in the madness of getting ready in the morning! Both him and Fiona made sure to get the key shots and get us to the church on time!
Neither myself or Conor are big fans of being photographed and did dread a little the shots on our own, but Mark and Fiona put us so at ease and we were laughing and smiling throughout. It all felt really natural and like we were just being captured in the moment. We have seen a couple of photos so far and absolutely love them. Mark and Fiona were just amazing from beforehand arranging zoom calls to meet and dealing with a last minute change of venue due to covid. On the day they were so warm and calming they snapped away without anyone noticing. The candid photos and moments they captured are now memories we will cherish forever. Words will never express how happy we are to have chosen The Fennells as our wedding photographers or should I say how lucky we were that they agreed to be part of our day! We were one of the lucky couples who had amazing weather for our wedding and when we speak with family and friends the first thing everyone comments on is the weather quickly followed by and ?your photographs are amazing, your photographers were brilliant, they were great fun?.
Mark and Fiona are outstanding photographers, their attention to detail is incredible! As with every couple getting married in 2020, the weeks leading up to our wedding were a rollercoaster of change and emotion. Mark and Fiona were so calm and reassuring and made excellent suggestions whilst always respecting our wishes.

Their style of photography captured the mood of the entire day and we have the most amazing array of photographs to look back on. They captured moments with all our guests that we never expected them to do. In our case, the sunset shots which we hadn't planned but which they gave us the choice of that evening are among our absolute favourites! Whilst always professional, they were fun and flexible and felt like two friends on the day.

My husband was the sixth son to get married in his family and therefore with lots of wedding experience it's a very strong testimony when both his parents said that The Fennells were the best photographers they had experienced. Friends who are getting married have asked for our opinion of vary aspects of the day and we always begin by saying that choosing The Fennells was the best decision we made. Booking The Fennells was the easiest and best decision we made throughout planning our special day. We can't thank Mark & Fiona enough for the incredible memories they have provided us with. We absolutely love our photographs, everything is perfect and we couldn't be any happier with them. In particular, we love the action shots of our wedding guests throughout the day. As a couple, we generally don't like photographs of ourselves and always tend to feel a bit awkward. We expressed this concern to Mark & Fiona in advance of the wedding and they couldn't have made us feel any more comfortable on the day and the results are evident in the photographs!
Due to unforeseen circumstances, our wedding band cancelled on the morning of our wedding. Mark & Fiona (the 'lifesavers') came to the rescue and organised a replacement band to show up on the day! They really do go above and beyond to ensure the couple have the best day possible.
All we can say is Mark & Fiona were the team to have by our side throughout it all! The positive vibes and energy they created ensured we were relaxed and had fun at all time. They were professional to deal with from start to finish, and not to mention extremely efficient in sending back our photographs in record time!The only problem with working with these guys is choosing the photographs to go to the wedding album.....we love them all it's impossible!!

We booked the Fennells after meeting Mark at an open evening, and from then on they were great to deal with. They also arranged our videographer Ian, and they all worked really well together. Despite the pretty horrific weather we had on the day, both Mark and Fiona had so many ideas for locations around the venue to capture special moments, and their energy and enthusiasm throughout meant we hardly noticed the conditions! From the moment they were at the venue in the morning with Shauna and the bridesmaids, they managed to guide things really well in a very professional and friendly manner, and were a discreet presence at all times. We got married on NYE 2019 and Mark and Fiona captured our day perfectly. They were a pleasure to deal with in the lead up to our wedding and were happy to answer all our questions.
On the day they were brilliant, so helpful making everything run on time and helping us along the way. Mark even had to show my MOH how to button my wedding dress on the morning and Fiona fixed my hair after being outside and offered to carry my makeup for touch ups.

This was the easiest review to write! These two were absolutely spectacular. I want to first start off by saying that if you are unsure about which photographer to go with in Ireland, you should start and stop with Mark and Fiona. They were simply the best and made Molly and I's wedding experience absolutely perfect.

Mark and Fiona were extremely easy to communicate months leading up to the wedding and even days before. They answered our emails (we had a destination wedding) promptly and professionally. Any request that we had, they were able to accommodate. During the wedding process, the small stuff can be the most stressful and Mark and Fiona were able to alleviate some of that stress for us. We absolutely loved working with them and would highly recommend them to any person looking for two great photographers.

They both did such a wonderful job with the pictures and they all came out perfect. We never felt overwhelmed by them and honestly didn't even realize that they were around. Despite that, we had over 900 pictures that they sent to us in a timely manner and it made us feel as though we were back at the venue. They listened to our requests throughout and made the entire wedding photography fun and exciting.

We decided last minute to get the videographer with them and we can honestly say that was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. The videographer was unobtrusive and we had no idea that he was even videoing the entire wedding. When we got our video back, it was absolutely perfect. He was able to capture all the highlights of our wedding and we can honestly say, every time we watch it we feel like we are reliving that day.

Mark and Fiona are a husband and wife wedding photography power couple. We actually used them for our own wedding so I can truly speak from experience when I say they are one of the best in the business.

Both Mark and Fiona are so passionate, professional and lovely people. On the lead up to the wedding Mark was so helpful with any questions I had and helped guide us through how the day would run from start to finish.
I personally felt having a male and female perspective on the photos was great. Mark was able to focus on the main shots which left Fiona to capture all the delicate details and more natural shots we didn't even realise were being taken on the day.

Alot of my guests said they were not intrusive at all and just blended in with the guests.

When it was all over I couldn't wait to see the photos and OMG they were so worth the wait. They were even better than I had imagined. At the end of the day, the photos and memories are all you are left with and they did an amazing job.

Once we got engaged, we started researching wedding photographers - we loved all the feedback we read about Mark and Fiona and decided we definitely wanted to work together. We were 18 months out at this stage and coordinated the venue and date around Mark and Fiona's availability. From the beginning, Mark was so friendly and helpful to deal with on the phone and through email. Weddings can be quite stressful at times and knowing we did not need to worry about the photography was a massive relief. On the day itself, both Mark and Fiona were beyond professional, made us all feel completely at ease and at the same time ensured the day kept running smoothly (Fiona even helped me with my dress) The photos and video turned out so much better than we expected, such amazing memories captured. Mark and Fiona were fantastic to deal with. From the moment we contacted them, we knew we had made the best decision for our photography. The first phone call between us was brilliant, Mark's energy and enthusiasm was apparent. At the time of booking, we didn't opt for a video but a few months later we realised we would regret it and were delighted that Mark and Fiona could provide this for us too! We met with them about a month before the wedding to go through the final details which was great, we really liked this personal touch. As soon as they arrived at our house that morning, the excitement levels kicked up a notch! Our wedding was on the 13th April 2019 in Brooklodge and from the very start Mark and Fiona were amazing. Mark and Fiona are just incredible at what they do. They have a way about them which just puts everyone at ease. They are so friendly and from our first meet up with them we just knew they were the photographers we wanted. Our pictures are amazing. Everything we could of wisged for and more. We just received our wedding photos and video and we couldn't be happier. The Fennells were recommended to us from friends and from this recommendation I began following them on social media. Its hard to put to words how happy we were with The Fennells - but we will give it our best try! We came across The Fennells through a friends wedding. We were absolutely blown away with their photography. Once we had our date set they were the first suppliers we called - we knew they had to take the photos of our day. Mark and Fiona are a pleasure to work with - their attention to detail and assistance to us on the run up to and on they day was priceless. We appreciated their expertise and guidance on timing and the run down of the day. We also appreciated the Skype sessions as we planned our wedding from the US. We felt so at ease with them both. On our wedding day the rain clouds opened - but that didn't deter these two. When my husband and I booked our venue over a year a go overseas in Ireland we really didn't know where to begin when it
came to planning our wedding. The one thing I did know however was that we HAD to have amazing photos of our big day. I went to the RDS to a wedding fair and Mark and Fiona were there. I was really impressed with their work. I saw my neighbour's in one of there promotional brochures and she looked amazing. I asked her about it and she couldn't speak highly enough of them. She also recommended them to her friends and her brother who also used them. I went through their reviews and work. Their photos are amazing so we booked them. I wasn't disappointed they really know how to get the best photos. From the beginning Mark and Fiona were great to deal with answering any questions we had. On the day they both made us and everyone around us feel very relaxed with cameras coming from all angles. Where do we start! Mark and Fiona are the most amazing, talented, nicest people! From the day we sat down with them to discuss the photos, they walked us through the day. Their years of experience shone through with advice on different things, like timings which we wouldn't have a clue! It was such a relief! At one stage Bruce broke his flower on his jacket and Mark calmly whipped out his fanny pack and fixed it just like that, and saved the day, like a ninja! What can I say that will really describe how fantastic Mark and Fiona were, not only on the wedding day but on the lead up to the big day. Mark was always very responsive on text when I was having some "freak out"! On the day Mark & Fiona went above and beyond not only taking our photos but helping the bride get to the church as we were running a little behind schedule! The atmosphere they created was very relaxed and ran seamlessly. Fiona was amazing reassuring me that hair and make up looked fine, she had a smile on her face all day. I can't even begin to explain how grateful we are to Mark and a Fiona for many different reasons.

Our wedding day was like a whirlwind kinda day and it was only when we looked at moments caught by The Fennells that we remembered lovely moments of the big day ( along with a few surprisest!). The day started off with getting ready and joking with the bridal party, all caught on camera and honestly we don't remember these pics being taking! I do remember that my bridesmaids didn't know how to close my dress properly and The Fennell's stepped in and helped!

The ceremony was written by us and a lot of thought went into it, Mark and Fiona captured all the amazing special moments. In show biz they say never work with animals or children, well now I totally agree. Our 6 year old son was completely overwhelmed and couldn't be involved in the ceremony but as the day went on and the ?pressure? was off, The Fennells captured the most natural and happy pictures of him and of us as a family.
As much as it was our wedding day, pictures of our guest reveal some hilarious and special moments that otherwise we wouldn't of known about.

What a great team to work with! Mark and Fiona were so friendly, professional and easy to be around. They really added to the morning of the wedding, with a nice bit of banter which helped

Both my husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our photo session with Mark and Fiona following our marriage ceremony. They ensured we were comfortable at all times and had a laugh which to us was most important as we didn't want just posed photographs. They also captured some beautiful photographs of our family and friends in the church and during wedding reception.

Not living in Ireland, we had to organize most things in advance from abroad, which can be a bit stressfull. However, Mark was very prompt at answering any questions we might have. From our first meeting we knew we made the right choice, as Mark and Fiona are such easy going people and very profesional. I was a bit worried about not being used to "posing" for photos. From the moment we met Mark and Fiona, we knew they were the photographers for us. We felt like they had been friends of ours for years. They were so relaxed throughout the wedding day and made us both feel at such ease.

During the lead up to the wedding, we met them a few times to run through the timetable for the day and also so they could establish the list of photos we wanted and the names of the bridal party. This made everything run so smoothly on the day. We hadn't to think about a thing as everything was taken care of.

We have often been at weddings where the photographers have been quite intrusive and obvious. Mark and Fiona couldn't be more opposite to this. They go about their business quietly and discreetly and many of our guests mentioned how they hardly noticed them on the day. This was very important to us.

In terms of the end album and photos, we couldn't be happier. They are better than we could have wished for. Mark walked through our album options and advised us perfectly in line with our requirements. We found it hard to choose the photos for the album as there were so many brilliant moments captured to choose from.

Overall we wouldn't hesitate to recommend Mark and Fiona. If you?re lucky enough for them to be free on your date, book them before they?re gone!

We cannot begin to explain how thrilled we are with our photos, they are more than what we could ever have hoped for. We knew when we met Mark and Fiona, that they would suit our day as photographers. From the moment they set to work on the morning of our wedding, they gave our day 100%. They were extremely subtle at the ceremony; I wouldn't have even known they were there only for the amazing photos they produced from it.

On top of all the other daunting tasks when organising the big day, one of the biggest decisions is the picking of the Photographer. There are so many options, not to mention all the "great" suggestions from friends and family when starting your search.

Having met quite a few, our prayers were answered when we meet Mark. He is very engaging and clearly has a real passion for what he does. From minute one he listened, advised and guided us through every detail of the day. Along with suggestions on so many other things, we never even thought of.

He kept in contact in the lead up to the day, and then of course on the day itself he brought his secret weapon along, Fiona, his partner in crime! : ) They were simply fantastic, so relaxed and had great craic with them both throughout the day. They really felt just part of the wedding, and made us both feel at ease. On the day we were a bit unlucky with the weather, but because they both have such a great attitude and of course experience, it really didn't matter.

Everything was made so simple for us and it completely removed any stress from the process. They were a big help in the lead up to the day with advice and on the day made every effort to make it as seamless as possible for everyone involved and instead of the photos being a pain point to get through on the day, we enjoyed them end to end!

The photos came out excellent - all the big moments were captured beautifully and we have moments to cherish forever. It was a big positive having two photographers as we have some great photos of the same scene but from a different perspective! It was also great for the church to be able to get moments at opposite ends of it during the arrival, entrance, vows, etc!

We had our wedding back in Feb of this year and we had Mark Fennell from www.TheFennells.ie video our wedding.
The end product was truly amazing! From every detail that you could imagine, from Mark been in the correct place at the correct time and yet seemed to make himself invisible through out the day was outstanding. The attention to details that we considered important , Mark was there to capture it. He even placed microphones discretely on us so the intimate moments did not go a miss! At one point the venues microphone for the speeches broke down, however, Mark had already placed his mic beside it so the video speeches were captured without no interruption.! This guy is always thinking ahead... I had my own personal best friend who is an excellent photographer, wanted to be our guy on the day. If it wasn't going to be him, it surly was going to be Mark too. As I'm a supplier to weddings also, I have witnessed himself and his amazing wife Fiona as photographers at other events! Finding the right photographer was so very important for us. We loved the Fennell's work and when we met Mark we liked him instantly. Just received our wedding photos from the Fennells and what a lovely Christmas surprise they were. We met Mark a few weeks before the wedding and we were quite specific about a couple of things we wanted, main thing being that the focus was on our family and friends and us enjoying the day with them. Mark and Fiona arrived at my mums house on the morning and straight away got to work without ever getting in the way or without being intrusive at all. Mark even managed to get a smile out of my super shy 3 year old niece! My husband is not usually a fan of photos but Mark and Fiona made us feel so comfortable and we're delighted with the results! The after service we received was superb. My dad passed away two weeks after the wedding and my husband contact Mark to see could we get some sneak peeks of some of the photos with myself and my Dad and I couldn't have been happier to have received these within a few days.

We just got our Wedding photos back from The Fennells and we could not be happier! Neither of us are fans of having our photo taken normally, but Mark and Fiona made us feel totally at ease; there were times during the day that we barely noticed them at all and that lead to some beautiful, natural shots. The family and bridal party photos after our wedding were discussed earlier at a meeting with Mark - because of this we could have them taken quickly and spend some precious time at our drinks reception chatting with our guests and relaxing before dinner. The best money we spent without doubt! We knew from the start that they were excellent photographers so we knew our photos were in safe hands but never realised how brilliant they would be on the day! The Fennells as well as capturing every moment of our day just slotted in with everyone, they kept everyone moving & made sure every i was dotted and t crossed! I could not recommend Mark and Fiona enough. From the booking to getting the photo's they made every minute of it hassle free.It was very important to us to pick the right photographers. We had shopped around for a few weeks until I went to the RDS wedding fair. This is where I met Mark and Fiona and I knew from the moment we looked at their work that they were right for us and they did not disappoint.They are the nicest couple and they slotted into the day perfectly. They were a major part in the day running smoothly. Fiona was even on hand to fix my veil when the bridesmaid were forgetting to do it! The best way to describe them on the day was like your best friends we're your photographers, they just felt part of the day from the very start. I honestly could not recommend these enough to everyone. I know from our wedding I have a queue of people wanting to use them for their special day.

I can truly say our wedding day would not have been the same experience only for Mark and Fiona. From the minute they walked into my mams house on the morning they were so friendly and really good fun.. Our pictures are absolutely amazing, I actually can't stop looking at them. I still don't know how I will narrow it down for the album, they are all unreal.. We met with Mark on a couple of occasions before the wedding to go through exactly what we wanted from the day and they certainly delivered. Having the 2 of them there was great, Mark would take all the posing pictures while Fiona stood in the background taking all the 'in the moment' shots. She was always there to make sure I looked OK, fixing my dress and veil when it needed. They went above and beyond to get the perfect shot, at one point Marks arms had come out in a huge rash from standing in a hedge taking our picture (the picture was amazing btw). I really can't recommend these guys enough. They always responded to me straight away with any questions I had. It was amazing to have Mark and Fiona as the photographers for our big day. They both made us feel so relaxed about getting the photos taken and so many of our friends and family have said the same. Having the two photographers meant that we captured so many moments and angles that we wouldn't have otherwise got.
Communication with Mark was great throughout and we found that all our ideas, no matter how weird and wacky were taken on board on the day.
We just got the photos yesterday and they are amazing. Even better than we could have hoped for. Even battling hail and snow showers, mis-functioning sparklers, and rogue sensor lights, the pictures are unbelievable.

I can't speak highly enough of Mark and Fiona and how fantastic they were. One of the best things was that we met with Mark twice before the wedding to ensure we were all on the same page with what we wanted and to go through any specifics. We could completely relax on the wedding day and knew were in good hands for the photos.

Having both Mark and Fiona taking photos also meant we got some great pictures of our guests enjoying themselves on the day.

We also opted to have them stay till our first dance too which I am so happy about as they got some beautiful pictures of our first dance but also the guests all up dancing to the band as well.

We had a really great experience with Mark and Fiona and we couldn't be happier with the photographs they took of our wedding day.
As is more and more common these days we planned our wedding in Ireland from abroad so had to make a lot of decisions based on online information and reviews. We found Mark and Fiona through weddingsonline.com and immediately liked the photography style. When we met with Mark he brought several samples of his work and took the time to explain their style and what they would do on the day. Before the wedding we spoke to discuss specific pictures we wanted and the general plan of the day so on the day everything ran very smoothly.
Mark and Fiona came to both the bride's and groom's house the morning of the wedding and got some really great pictures-- a combination of posed and candid pictures. Some of the best shots are the candid ones where no one even notices the camera. In fact, many people commented how they didn't notice the photographers or videographer throughout the day.
We just recently received a copy of the wedding video which was absolutely brilliant, from the music to the shots. It is all edited together seamlessly and professionally. It brought back so many memories and even reminded us of some of the things we had forgotten in the hustle of the day. I would definitely recommend having the videographer in addition to the photographs.

We searched for photographers quite extensively, as any couple does before a wedding but when we met them and saw their portfolio we knew that they were perfect for us. We can't stress the added dimension that two photographers bring, and this pair are just totally in sync gathering the most precious moments that only last a second but are captured forever. Glances, looks, smiles, laughter, fun and happiness, all captured in the most amazing way. Every little detail that mattered so much to us, they documented and captured. Much more than this, we outlined every portrait and family portrait we wanted to have and they made sure that all our requests were granted. It's a directed photo-shoot with hilarious outcomes of family and friends resulting in high-resolution professional photos as opposed to small passport snaps.
