The best hotel for location, scenery, food, hospitality and communications. We had our wedding here 1st August and could not fault it . The guests are still talking about the food and how it was the hottest dinner they ever got and the beef was melt in the mouth . Overall can not fault it . Thanks so much for making our day the best day!

The first time we stayed at Bloomfield was in April 2023 on a babymoon. From the minute we entered to leaving the hotel we were made feel so welcome. The staff were so friendly, and the food was amazing. Ww talked about Bloomfield as a wedding venue so the following April we made an appointment and met the lovely Abbigail, who is a breath of fresh air to work with. She took all our ideas on board, and we had a few dietary requirements too which were not an issue, and she made the planning of our wedding so easy. She answered all our questions, (some more than once), she is extremely good at her job. Luckily, she had our date available, so we booked it. Then we had a year to plan and organise it. Anytime we had to pop over to go over detail we were always treated like it was our first time there. We couldn't wait to share that experience with our guests. We arrived the day before the wedding and had booked the bridal suite the night before. The room was amazing , the view from the room was overlooking Lough Ennell. We had a lovely family meal the night before and we were so well looked after. Everyone complimented the food and the service. The next day we got a sneak peek at the ceremony and reception rooms; they were both beautifully decorated and it was nice to see our plans and ideas put in place but quite surreal at the same time. Everything was done like we had discussed with Abbigail, it was amazing. Sharon came and collected me from the Bridal Suite and brought me downstairs, she waited with me until it was time for me to go in and calmed my nerves. She also played the songs we had chosen throughout the ceremony and was there to greet us afterwards with a glass of Nozeco. After our photos we got to mingle with our guests which was so nice, before been introduced into dinner as Mr. and Mrs. Sharon was with us the whole day and we were treated like royalty. Service at dinner was brilliant again and we had Emma looking after us at the top table. Thank you, Emma. The food again was lovely; we couldn't fault anything. The guests commented on how lovely and hot the food was. The day went by so quick, but it was the most wonderful and amazing day ever. We really didn't want it to end. We will definitely be back for our anniversary. Thank you for the gift bag upon leaving the hotel. (It's the little touches). Our guests are still talking about the hotel, food and staff. Some are talking about returning to the hotel, they had such an enjoyable experience. Thank you to Abbigail, Sharon, Emma and all the staff at Bloomfield for a truly wonderful day.

We had our wedding ceremony here at Bloomfield in May 2024. The staff were just amazing from first contact.. there was no question or request to big or small.. we were so well looked after. The food was amazing as always, our wedding sat just over 270 and everything ran so smooth. Thank you for everything ☺️

Where do we start.....we always knew The Bloomfield House Hotel was the place we wanted to celebrate our wedding, having attended weddings there in the past we knew the service and attention to detail was A+, not only that Bloomfield holds a special place in our hearts having been the place we would go on our first few dates to our engagement down by the lakeshore in April 2021.
On our first tour of the place back in July 2021 we got a warm feeling that this was the right choice for us. Abbigail, Joanne, Sharon and the events team really made the planning process easy for us, the communication from the day we booked right to the big day was excellent no question or request was too silly.
Fast forward to the big day itself and we really couldn't have asked for any better, not only did we feel like royalty but our guests did also. The food was delicious and plentiful, loads of choices for people with dietary requirements and the staff were so attentive to everyone's needs.

We loved the Bloomfield Hotel Mullingar for our wedding the staff are so helpful and the atmosphere is relaxed, our ceremony was here and our celebrant Gerry Byrne was amazing and personal. The food was amazing we will be back with our sons.

Where do I start, to say the made the day great is an understatement.
From the menu tasting, to the emails and calls back and forth, to the day two food and entertainment, everything was smooth sailing thanks to the Bloomfield staff!
Abbligail always responded to me quickly, professionally and knew everything I could have possibly asked for. She was always calm and collected and helped me whatever way I could as this was of course my first wedding I didn't have a clue and they helped with everything.
The day itself went so smoothly I didn't have to think of anything. The bridal suite the night before and morning of was booming with happiness and comfort because we had no worries, the staff took care of everything and ever so often rang to check if we needed anything which was lovely.
The food, everyone at the wedding from the picky eaters to the fancy Danish absolutely adored their meals, there is something for everyone, the meat is top quality, the veggie/vegan options are plentiful and delicious and they are so attentive to any needs or wants. The service couldn't be better.
I also had a lot of props, wedding favours, Photo Booth etc, and I had to worry about none of it, I got it all handed to me on my check out in lovely neat little boxes.

I could not fault this hotel, my parents and my guests say it was the best and I would highly recommend them to anyone and everyone getting married!!

We had our wedding in March it was the one and only place we looked at, the location itself is fantastic. Abigail, Sharon and there staff couldn't have done more for us. The food was incredible we had a 2 day affair and both days we couldn't fault anything, we stayed on with family extra days and everyone couldn't stop talking about the staff and the hotel and the food.
All our guests have raved about our wedding and some have even gone back to stay for couple nights already they loved everything about it. Also amazing photo opportunities. You will not regret booking.
We wish we could do it all over again.

All the staff were amazing. They made our day so special. Food was amazing everything went perfect on the day and for the entire weekend.

Bloomfield house really made our day so special. Nothing was too much hassle for them. The room itself was so beautiful and considering we didn't have to decorate it at all that says a lot, the food was absolutely gorgeous and VERY plentiful. The staff were amazing very professional but still friendly and approachable. After our wedding ?ended? they even let us stay in the room and continue the party which was amazing as we didn't have to try squash everyone into a room ???? I would recommend Bloomfield to anyone

All the staff at Bloomfield are amazing so friendly and an absolute pleasure to deal with. Nothing is a problem. Abbigail our wedding coordinator was super at her job and was on hand for anything we needed. The food was fabulous and everyone including us had the best day ever.

We had our ceremony there in the beautiful hotel , which ment we stayed the night before . The hotel and staff couldn't of been anymore helpful and met all our needs .
The day was magical , THE FOOD OMG , was perfect my family are hard to please when it comes to food and every one of them commented 10/10 on the meal ????

We would like to extend a huge thank you to all the staff at Bloomfield for an unforgettable wedding day. From the beginning, we loved the venue and the warm feeling we got from our very first day there on our tour with Joanne! All throughout the process, we received great communication from the wedding team who kindly answered all our questions. When the big day came we were treated like royalty! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with a smile by the Banqueting Manager Sharon. Our reception went so smoothly. We were blown away with how amazing the banquet room looked on the day and loved all the little wedding signs that Bloomfield had put up for us. All our guests said that the food was excellent and service by all the staff was top class. Some guests were accommodated last minute for alternative meals. We had our photos taken at the lake and it truly is as stunning as it seems! We?re so grateful to everyone that worked so hard for us on the day. We had an absolutely amazing day, better than we could have imagined. We?ll look forward to our next stay!

We had our wedding here in December 2021, couldn't have asked for anything to be more perfect. Could not have been happier with the Bloomfield hotel for our wedding. I'm not sure I can express how amazing the whole day was from start to finish, the venue was beautiful, the food was amazing, the staff were unbelievable. Sharon really looked after us and made our day so special. Our guests were raving about the food and venue, enjoyed the whole celebrations.

The wedding team and all the staff at Bloomfield were exceptionally helpful throughout the whole wedding process. Nothing was ever a problem (even throughout the difficult time of Covid). We changed dates three times and the management of this difficult situation was superb. The venue options are fantastic and they really cover the decorations of your room so well. I would highly recommend bloomfield, the grounds are fantastic as are the facilities and the food. So glad we chose it as our wedding venue.

They went above and beyond to help us

Nicola, Joanne and Lucy made the mid pandemic lead up to our day as stress free as possible. On the day Sarah deserves a special mention. Nothing was a problem! With only 25 guests we had the best day of our lives and it could have been 125 for the way we were treated like a king and queen by all staff. So professional and everyone made us feel extra special from the very first glance at the suites and rooms to the final goodbye on departure. We stayed 3 nights and every bite of food was delicious. We got fabulous photos by the lake and on the grounds. Would recommend to anyone planning their wedding!

We had our wedding reception in Bloomfield House Hotel on 6th April. The whole day and the experience of preparing for it was fabulous. The team at Bloomfield were so helpful and informative at what needed to be done at different stages to get ready. On the day there was a football match that a lot of our guests were watching and Sharon and the staff were understanding of this and were so efficient at taking orders and getting people settled in the room quickly. The food was amazing as well we were so happy with everything. Cannot recommend Bloomfield enough for value as well. We will always remember the fantastic service and will return frequently in our future.

Excellent and professional service. Could not have asked for more, they were flexible with requests and we got brilliant value for money. The staff were very friendly, relaxed and went out of their way to help. The guests complimented the food and service. Hotel is also set by lake and provided great setting for photos. Again great value for money and I highly recommend it.

We honestly couldn't have asked for anything more on our Wedding day, it was perfect! Everything from the table plan arrangement with the decorations and detail, the amazing food that everyone raved about, to the fact that we both felt spoilt rotten all day by Sharon and her team, and how well Noel and his team looked after everyone in the bar. And everything in between. Made our day just the most fun and perfect day! Even though the weather was really bad it didn't dampen the day at all so thank you so much for all you did for us. It really did go so smoothly and people even commented on the staff, how discreet and efficient they were yet still interacted with out guests. Looking forward to returning to Bloomfield House Hotel soon!

We cannot thank the hotel enough for everything they did on the day. Sharon was brilliant, I was oblivious to time as she organized everything. I only found out afterwards that I was over 30 minutes late, though I was ready! I didn't have to worry about anything as Sharon handled it all. She is extremely professional and nothing was too much trouble. Food was fantastic; hot, & tasty and our guests said they were offered seconds. Waiting staff were polite & efficient and everyone is raving about the hotel. Both Chris & I wouldn't fault it and would highly recommend it to everyone getting married. I'm so glad I chose it now. From meeting Maria I knew it was the hotel for us. Fantastic hotel, staff and wedding venue. Wish I could do the day all over again!

To all the Bloomfield Staff, especially Oliver, Maria & Joanne in Banqueting, Sharon who looked after every single little detail on our special evening reception on Sat 10th December, and the night staff - especially John who could not do enough for us at the early hours of the morning, and all the catering staff. From our first meeting with Joanne in Oct / Nov 2012 to our very last, it was a pleasure to deal with her and all the staff at Bloomfield. We found everyone so helpful and accommodating and nothing was too much effort. We both have been to so many weddings at Bloomfield over the years as have our friends and family and it keeps getting better everytime. On the day itself Sharon was on hand to take care of any last minute details / requests we had and kept everything in order. The food was excellent, the best we have yet tasted in Bloomfield and this was also commented on by all the wedding guests, some who are quite hard to please. We stayed an extra night and enjoyed the Bridal Suite again and a beautiful meal in the restaurant on the Saturday night. We would like to say a massive thank you to Joanne & Sharon and all the team and we will recommend Bloomfield at all times and we are sure we will be back at several more weddings. Firstly I really, really want to pay a huge thank you for everything you did to make our day special. All of our guests commented on how friendly all of your staff were. The service was great throughout the weekend. Myself and Kevin both felt that the hotel staff ensured a stress free day for us both. We were both so happy to have chosen Bloomfield House. Also, a big thanks to the girls in the office for promptly responding to my many, many emails in the run up to the big day. We both look forward to visiting Bloomfield again in the near future.

On the day of the wedding, Joanne and Sharon could not have been more helpful and were at hand throughout the day taking care of our guests and us. The service was superb from the ceremony to the reception with the meal being served at the giving time. Our meals were served piping hot & fresh and without any delay. I don't even know where to start in describing our magical wedding weekend in your amazing hotel. All the way up to the wedding the banqueting staff were simply outstanding. Nothing was ever a problem for them and not once was I made feel like a ?Bridezilla?. On the day of our wedding we simply had to arrive; everything I had asked to be done was done to perfection and Joanne and her staff did a fabulous job with the rooms and d?cor. Our meal was superb and our guests are still speaking highly of the food and service. Stephen and I were both so proud to have picked such a wonderful venue for our special day. We both wish to offer Joanne, Pat and all the staff at Bloomfield House Hotel our deepest gratitude for our truly perfect wedding weekend. It was the fairytale I had hoped for and more and we can't wait to return.
