We celebrated our wedding at the Hotel Kilkenny and couldn’t be happier with our experience.
Laura and Niamh were warm, welcoming, and incredibly helpful from our first meeting, making the planning process smooth and enjoyable. On the day, the hotel staff provided excellent service, ensuring everything ran seamlessly for us and our guests.
Our guests praised the beautiful Orchard Suite, the lovely ambiance, and the outstanding food, all of which exceeded our expectations.
We are so grateful to the entire team for making our wedding day so special and memorable, and we would highly recommend this venue to any couple seeking a beautiful setting and exceptional service.

After viewing many hotels & speaking to wedding planners, we instantly knew arriving at Hotel Kilkenny that hotel was for us. From the warmth & friendly staff arriving in the front door, then speaking with the truly amazing wedding planners Niamh & Laura, They both covered absolutely everything, and always kept in contact throughout the beginning until the morning of our wedding. Their experience down to the small details were amazing we couldn't of asked for better wedding planners than Niamh & Laura. To this day we both still get complements from the civil cermony, reception bar & to the reception dinner everything was beyond amazing. We also had Ellen on the evening of our wedding no task was too big or small for her. We got married at Hotel Kilkenny last August, and when we look back on our wedding day, we have nothing but wonderful memories. Hotel Kilkenny was the very first venue we viewed, and we didn’t need to look anywhere else. We both knew straight away that it was exactly where we wanted to celebrate our wedding.

From the moment we started planning, the team were so helpful and responsive. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and there was always someone available to answer any questions we had. We felt genuinely looked after throughout the entire process. Laura, our wedding coordinator on the day, was fantastic, and Niamh, who was our main point of contact throughout the planning process, was equally wonderful.

We had our reception in the Orchard Room, and it was absolutely perfect. One of the things we loved most was having our own private space for the day. With the bar, garden access, and facilities all downstairs, our guests could relax and enjoy themselves without constantly moving around the hotel, which kept everyone together and added to the atmosphere. It felt intimate, exclusive, and exactly what we wanted for our wedding.

The staff on the day were fantastic. They were friendly, professional, and always seemed to be one step ahead, making sure everything ran smoothly. We were actually running late arriving at our drinks reception, but the team were incredibly accommodating and helped make sure we still got to enjoy as much of the day as possible.

One thing that really stood out to us was the value of the wedding package. Not only was our wedding day itself incredible, but the extras that came with it made it feel even more special. We were treated to a stay in the beautiful Monart Spa after the wedding, complete with dinner, bed and breakfast, which gave us the perfect chance to relax and enjoy being newly married.

We also received an anniversary stay in Hotel Kilkenny, which is actually why I’m writing this review while sitting back here a year later! What we loved most was that the experience didn’t just end when the wedding was over. The package gave us the opportunity to continue celebrating long after the big day itself, creating even more special memories during our first year of marriage. Returning for our anniversary has been such a lovely experience and really shows how the memories of your wedding day continue to grow with time.

A wedding day goes by so quickly, but thanks to everyone involved, we were able to relax, be present, and enjoy every moment with our family and friends. It was honestly one of the happiest days of our lives, and we’re so grateful to the entire team for helping make it so memorable.

All the team at Hotel Kilkenny ensured we had a wonderful wedding day. From our first contact to our big day the communication was excellent, all our needs and wants were catered for in a quick and professional manner. The drinks reception was welcoming, cosy and a perfect size for our number. The food was delicious and plentiful and the staff were very efficient and friendly throughout. We had a brilliant day, would do it all again and wouldn't change a thing. We would highly recommend Hotel Kilkenny to anyone planning their wedding.

We shopped around loads of hotels from 5 stars down. From the day we arrived in the hotel to see about weddings to the big day itself and even a month after the wedding we couldn't have asked for better. The wedding team are second to none professional, friendly, everything was no problem and they made us feel we were the only wedding they were having. They were always at the other end of the phone or email.
Their customer service was exceptional and I would highly recommend Hotel Kilkenny.

We could not have asked for or expected anymore from the services provided by Hotel Kilkenny. The staff who looked after us on the day especially Liam, Ross and Joanne were very helpful and friendly. They went above and beyond for us as a couple and our guest. We would highly recommend the venue.

An amazing experience is how I would describe my wedding day at Hotel Kilkenny but it wasn't just the one day that wowed us, from the minute we walked into this hotel we got that warm and welcoming feeling from everyone we met. The professional of the staff was out of this world and the friendliness accompanied it. Everything on the day went off perfectly and this was with great help and hard work from all the staff included. We had nearly 250 guests sharing our day and we did not have one complaint about anything. We are a month on now from our special day and our family and friends are still raving about the hotel and especially the food. My guests stayed all weekend and had such a wonderful experience here. We knew from the day we picked the hotel that we made the best choice and Hotel Kilkenny did not disappoint.

We cannot thank this hotel enough for our day! They were exceptional. From booking the date all the way through to the time we checked out (two days later), the staff went above and beyond. All meals served at the same time, all portions very generous. None of our guests complained about waiting for wine refills or table space. The whole day went swimmingly. They truly make your day more wonderful than you can imagine. So happy we chose hotel Kilkenny we have zero regrets.

From the moment we booked our wedding at Hotel Kilkenny, they looked after us so well in all our planning and in the months coming up to the wedding day. The day itself was flawless and hotel kilkenny were brilliant in the organisation of all our decor in the hotel and everything ran on time. Food was amazing! As was the service 5 star all round
