From the day we went to view Knockranny as a potential wedding venue, right up to checking out after our wedding weekend, all we can say is INCREDIBLE. Claire, our wedding coordinator was fantastic throughout the whole process and she was always on the other end of the phone/email if we needed anything. Upon our arrival the day before the wedding, she took everything off our hands where we could fully relax. Everything was perfect and we couldn't have been happier.
The food was absolutely gorgeous, not just on the wedding evening but every morning for breakfast too! All of our guests mentioned how good the food was all weekend.
Special mention to the hotel porter, who went above and beyond managing our bags and boxes! Thank you and also to the staff who were working at the wedding. They were fantastic.

Overall, it was a 5 star experience and we can't wait to return to our favorite hotel soon.

Our wedding at Knockranny House Hotel was nothing short of perfection. From the very beginning, Claire was simply superb — an absolute gem. Nothing was ever an issue, no request too small, and her attention to detail was second to none. The fact that she replied to emails even on her days off says it all about her dedication and care. She completely put us at ease throughout the entire process, making everything feel effortless and stress-free.

The food on the day was amazing — beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. So many of our guests commented on the quality. The staff were excellent and incredibly attentive, especially when it came to guests with allergies. Everyone was looked after so thoughtfully, which meant the world to us.

The rooms were huge, luxurious, and so comfortable. Every single guest complimented the hotel — from the service to the setting and overall atmosphere. It truly exceeded expectations in every way.

We also held our Day 2 celebrations at the hotel, and it was just as big a success. The team ensured everything flowed seamlessly, allowing us to relax and continue celebrating with family and friends.

If you are considering Knockranny House Hotel as your wedding venue — do it. It was the best decision we made, and we couldn’t recommend it more highly.

We got married in Knockranny House Hotel in September 2024 and it was more than we could have ever imagined or hoped for. 6 months later and people are still talking about how amazing the hotel and the food were! Claire the wedding co-ordinator was simply wonderful, nothing was too big of a job for her and she couldn't do enough for us. There will never be enough words to describe how fantastic Claire and all the staff at Knockranny House Hotel are! Quite quickly after our engagement the first venue we visited was Knockranny, on a whim, no appointment no time scheduled to meet with anyone, regardless of that Claire met us and gave us the full tour there and then. As you would we kept looking around at other venues but we found ourselves always comparing to Knockranny, but nothing could and we knew instantly that Knockranny House was out dream venue. From the moment we stepped inside the doors even up to now weeks after the wedding! Claire was nothing short of brilliant, nothing was ever too much, to big or too small. We were blow away. I could honestly speak all day about Claire AMAZING, she was always available to us either via email phone or even to pop in. We felt like we could have been the only couple in the hotel! From the food tasting and nights stay, to the wedding day and the days in between. Claire facilitated us a couple of days early to start decoration and ship stuff to the hotel. We cannot recommend Claire and all her staff enough! The food on the day was fantastic, over all the organisation of the whole day was STUNNING. Everything went so smoothly as perfect as could be. Our guests couldn't belive such a stunning place existed, the views the food the rooms, absolutely everything was MAGICAL. AGAIN I could go on all day with how brilliant Claire and all the staff have been for us. But afew special mentions aswell as Claire, to Chris the porter, thank you so much for your unwavering kindness and help throughout our day's with you. To Ben, fantastic such a friendly face and always a kind word. Anna, brilliant nothing was to much for her, always on hand to help.

We recently had the pleasure of having our wedding at the Knockranny House hotel and the experience was absolutely exceptional. From the moment we engaged with Claire, the wedding coordinator, to the end of our special day, she went above and beyond to ensure that everything was perfect and that our wedding was a memorable event.

We got married in the Knockranny on December 31st. It was the most wonderful day, I would rate them higher if I could. The service, food and atmosphere were amazing. Claire, the wedding coordinator, is absolutely fantastic. She made everything so easy from the very first day. I would highly, highly recommend the Knockranny for your wedding venue.

We could not recommend Knockranny House Hotel as a Wedding venue highly enough.
Everything from the moment we walked into the venue to checking out the day after our wedding was fantastic.
The venue itself is beautiful with stunning views and really captures the West Of Ireland. Inside, the hotel is exquisite with roaring fires, cosy decor and a feeling of absolute luxury. Claire, our wedding coordinator was amazing. Nothing was too big or too small and Claire handled everything with the up most professionalism. We planned our wedding from abroad but really this did not hinder anything one bit as Claire had everything under control at all times. The day ran so smoothly, the venue was decorated perfectly. The drinks reception in the cocktail lounge is a fantastic opportunity to mingle with guests - we ended up having almost an hour here which we really appreciated. The functions room itself was decorated so well, it felt so homely even though we had 250+ guests. One of our guests commented on the lack of pillars within the room and I never thought about this until afterwards, but even though the room is so spacious, there is no pillars in the way so when you are sitting at the top table you can clearly see all your guests which is lovely. The food was amazing, we have never quite tasted that quality at a wedding reception and this is something that each of our guests has commented on. There was plenty of second helpings offered around. Our band sounded brilliant and the DJ afterwards and everything went so smoothly during the day. Ours and our families rooms were the height of luxury - we could not have asked for anything better and ended up booking two nights the following week in Knockranny as part of our "mini-moon". We really got to enjoy the luxury and relaxation of it all.

For anyone who is thinking of booking Knockranny I would really recommend going along and meeting with Claire and possibly having dinner in the la Fougere restaurant - this will make your mind up!

Luxurious, exquisite, welcoming, beautiful, professional and personal are the words that come to mind when I think about Knockranny and I know it will hold a special place with us for many years to come.

We cannot recommend Knockranny House Hotel and Spa enough as a wedding venue. We had our wedding reception there on 22nd February and we literally do not have one complaint. Everything was just superb from the day we walked in the door to enquire about booking our wedding right up to every last detail on the day itself. Claire is amazing at what she does. You get a very quick feeling that you are in safe hands with Claire and you really are. She is an absolute pro as are all of the management and staff. Highly recommend.
