The Village Hotel is an award winning seaside wedding venue situated in the heart of the picturesque village of Bettystown, Co. Meath.

We have an a choice of an intimate wedding or an all inclusive package in which our dedicated wedding team will give you the reassurance you need to enjoy the planning, as well as the day itself, by creating a day that is truly yours.
Our Garden Ballroom boasts beautiful stone walls with pristine wooden floors, making it a superb, elegant setting for your wedding reception. Its doors open to manicured gardens, which are perfect for a pre-dinner champagne reception. We also cater for civil ceremonies, civil partnerships and humanist ceremonies.
Conveniently less than 5 minutes away from the beautiful beach of Bettystown, our magnificent venue with secluded gardens will leave you spoilt for choice for as to where to have your wedding photographs taken.
As all of our food is seasonal, why not let us know your favourite dishes and our innovative Head Chef will create a bespoke menu for you which will be unique for your day.

It’s coming up to the 1st wedding Anniversary that we and our guests had the good fortune to choose the Village Hotel as the venue for simply The Perfect Day! I have intended to leave a honest review for a while now of just how incredibly impressive the entire process from planning every little detail with the expert team that made the day come together seamlessly.. and so easy for us!
What a fantastic little Gem the village hotel is for special occasions and add in the wonderful food options available for all tastes and preferences, alongside friendly & professional staff that will make every effort to ensure everyone has an amazing experience.
All of our guests on the day were highly complimentary of the venue and the quality of the food and the general hospitality that comes as standard at The Village Hotel!
My Wife and I would like to once again thank the wedding team and the staff for an amazing day! We look forward to our upcoming visit back on our anniversary celebration to experience it all again! Although maybe at a slightly smaller scale this time!
We can’t recommend The Village Hotel Highly enough & for any couples considering where would be a good venue that can provide it all?!

I don’t know where to start with the amount of praise we have for this hotel.
We just had our wedding here two days ago and my god the staff made everything absolutely PERFECT! The room was STUNNING for both the ceremony and for the afters! The food was absolutely incredible! Massive thanks to the absolute gentleman that is Sans and the kitchen staff, everyone went up for seconds and kept saying all evening and the day after how delicious all the food was! Sans created beautiful dishes to suit everyone, coeliac, vegetarian, nut allergy, nothing was too much trouble. Thank you Sans ❤️
Grainne: Grainne is the absolute dote I dealt with from the first time I popped in to look at the hotel and instantly I clicked with her. She was absolutely incredible. Nothing was too much trouble and was always quick to respond to any emails I sent her. She is an absolute gem! Such a warm caring soul but also absolutely class craic ❤️
Christine: another absolute gem. Our little girl took an instant like to Christine too which is totally unheard of with people she doesn’t know. That speaks volumes for the kind of person she is ❤️
Dave: Ah Dave- what a guy!! He’s an absolute joy to be around. Such a jolly genuinely nice man. Real cheeky chappy too, legend ☺️ Again our little one adored him which as I said before it’s so unusual for her to like people she doesn’t know especially men but Dave she absolutely loved.
Aidee: ah the lovely Aidee, we had the absolute pleasure of having Aidee looking after us during our stay. An absolute sweetheart, so easy to chat to and so helpful ❤️ again Ellie loved Aidee too.
Donna- Oh what a pet 🥹 such a gorgeous bubbly character. Great craic and again nothing was too much trouble 🥰 we even went for dinner last night and even though she was super under pressure because it was so busy she made the time to have a little catch up with us and a chat with Ellie and had a smile for her anytime she walked past which made her evening ❤️
Ciaran- Ciaran is a real gentleman. He made sure everything ran absolutely seamlessly with the ceremony and the afters, everything was perfect!
The rooms are beautiful! We stayed in the bridal suite which is stunning and all our guests commented on how nice all their rooms were and how comfortable the beds were.
I could keep going on and on with endless praise for this wonderful hotel and the fabulous staff! Thank you all again for everything guys, we will see you all really soon and you’ll all hold a special place in our hearts forever for being so welcoming and making our day perfect ❤️

Nothing was a problem for Sinead or Leanne at The Village. They were able to facilitate all of our requests when our day went from a very small intimate occasion to a full on party!
They made the whole experience very easy and straightforward for us with no fuss or pressure, which was exactly what we wanted.
Can not thank them enough for making our day everything we wanted and more.

We were at a wedding recently in the Village Hotel and I can't praise them highly enough. Everything about the day was just lovely! The room is fab, (I loved the gorgeous wooden floor, the chiavari chairs and the lighting) the garden and marquee for the drinks reception were great. The food was amazing- there were chefs among the guests and they are hard to please! I was delighted as a vegetarian to have 3 choices of main course. A very very enjoyable day. The hotel was beautifully decorated also.

Where do we start- we would like to thank the Village Hotel and Angie for their help in organising our dream Wedding Day. The All Wrapped Up Wedding package is amazing value- included everything we needed from Food & Wine,Cake,Flowers,Photographer, Band and DJ, just to name a few.
The food and wine was excellent and everyone thoroughly enjoyed the meal.
The function room itself took our breath away. Angie and the whole team had gone above and beyond in decorating it so beautifully. Unfortunately we didnt get the weather but it didnt matter one little bit as the room was so cozy and tastefully decorated.
From start to finish the whole experience was 100% stress free. Angie and the Team really took our us in fulfilling our dream day.

I couldn't have wished for a better wedding venue. The wedding package is amazing value, so many extras included such as cake, flowers, photographer.
The food was AMAZING, everyone loved it. When we walked into the room, it literally took my breath away, Angela and the team had gone above and beyond in decorating it! From start to finish the whole experience was stress free and I knew from the minute that I stepped into the venue that Angela had everything under control, which was great and meant we got to enjoy the time with our guests.

Angela the event planner was so helpful and made the planning process feel easy. The hotel looked amazing on the day and everything ran smoothly.

Venue is a lovely size and location is great. Staff were responsive to queries in build up to the day and very flexible with bookings, schedule etc.
Food was top notch and set up of the room was excellent. Rooms were good and event went well.
Would take away marks on evening organisation - first dance and speech introductions had little staff assistance, but the rest of the night was excellent.
Overall 4/5 and would recommend.

The village Hotel in Bettystown, co. Meath is a spectacular location for a wedding. We had An amazing day, Angela and her team went above and beyond to make sure our day was perfect. In addition to that they are super friendly and make you feel like your part of the Village hotel Family, you don't get that amazing personal feeling in many hotels these days but the village. Nothing was too tall of an order for Angela and she always had a smile on her face, even though we had some funny and unusual requests. Words can't describe how thankful we were to have held our wedding there and we booked it only 3 weeks before the date as we had a last minute change in venue.
Our guests were delighted with the food also both on the day and at breakfast the next morning. 1/3 of our guests were vegetarian and they couldn't get over the selection that was on offer for them. Their comments were ?the best vegetarian breakfast I've ever had in a hotel?

We are so happy that we choosed Village Hotel for our wedding dinner it was so professional and made us feel so special! Food was so tasty and looks great as well! Our guest was from Lithuania, but they liked all meniu! Thank You!

We had our wedding here in November , which we only started to organise from July ! My first point of contact was grainne and from our first phone call I knew the village hotel was the place for us .
What started as a party turned into a full blown wedding , and grainne was fantastic the whole way through !!
Plenty of times I changed my mind and each time grainne just took it all in her stride and put together the day that we imagined .
Our ceremony room was absolutely stunning , the way it was laid out , the decor , the lighting!! It was perfect for us !!
We had a break in the weather and made use of the garden for photos which was amazing!
Our reception was perfect with our guests enjoying Prosecco and macarons which I requested and they were presented so beautifully !
The dining room was absolutely beautiful for our meal and everybody said how fantastic the food was , and every couple weeks always worries about the food including us - we had absolutely nothing to worry about . The courses were served in great time and nobody had an empty stomach afterwards as the portions were so large.
We used the house dj for music and we had a great time for the night .
Honestly our only complaint is that our night ended 😂
The rooms were perfect and none of our guests had any complaints , we booked out the whole hotel and everybody had an amazing breakfast the next morning .
So to grainne , Aidee , ciaran , sinead , and all the rest of the staff in the village hotel thank you so much for hosting our wedding ! We had an absolute ball ❤️
