The speeches are a big part of weddings and one way to make them that bit more interactive is to have a bit of a game element to them. The speech sweepstake has been popular at many a wedding table so why not make life easier and have your very own sweepstake booklet so guests can hedge their bets!

The Shoe Game

This game is for the happy couple but is highly amusing for everyone watching. The couple sits back to back and removes their shoes – each party takes the other’s shoe! Then one friend or family member steps up to ask them a series of fun questions with the answer to each question being either ‘the bride’ or ‘the groom’. They’ll then have to answer the questions at the same time by holding up their shoe if they think that they’re the correct answer for example: who is the tidiest?! If the bride thinks it’s her, she holds up her shoe and vice versa for the groom.

Tip: Another way to get guests involved in The Shoe Game is to leave some paper on their tables to gather questions for the newlyweds!
