When we got engaged it didn't take very long for us to decide on our photographer as we had seen him in action, and the results, at three other weddings in our friend group so we know we were in very safe hands. On the lead up to the wedding, communication with David was really easy and friendly as he got to know the names of family and bridal party and also got had a call with us to discuss our story and just to know us a bit better. As a couple, we don't actually take a lot of photos together and I don't know if we were the best models but David was able to instruct us and the pictures he got are just beautiful and even better are the ones he captured when we didn't even know he was taking them! His patience and kindness with also accommodating our dogs into some pictures and also managing to convince my gran that she didn't need her polka dot cane 'Grainne' in the wedding photos were more than appreciated by us. We have also felt that the speed at which he has delivered our photos to us as well is phenomenal given how in demand he is! We can't recommend David enough!

We were very happy to have David to photograph our wedding. The introduction call was easy to arrange, and David took all our considerations into account and providing some good advice too. During the big day, David was very friendly with all the guests and captured many great spontaneous moments alongside all the group pictures we requested. David made us feel at ease during the whole day which resulted in very natural couple pictures. David was also very quick sending a first preview of the wedding pictures and we received the whole selection shortly after.

We originally found David on Instragram where we really loved his candid style of wedding photography. We contacted him through his website and he was very quick to respond and very professional. We specified that we wanted photos from the ceremony until the first few dances of the night as it was important for us to be present and make the most of the moment without the worries of being distracted or documented. David was so flexible and considerate with this request and was there for every important moment we had wanted. He did a fabulous collection of family and friend portraits for us, but it was the candid photos that really shine. He was friendly and kind throughout the whole experience and has great patience. He is also an extremely lovely person, with a glowing personality that it was a pleasure to work with him and stay in touch with afterwards.

I met David at my sisters wedding the year previous and as I waited alongside her for her photos they were absolutely phenomenal and we knew straight away that we would want him to photograph our wedding and thankfully he was free. As we pulled away from Bellinter House having agreed on a wedding date our thoughts quickly turned to suppliers - our priority list was a photographer, celebrant and a band. While two of those three were going to need some research we knew exactly who we wanted to be our photographer. Before we even made it home we had sent David a message to check his availability.

We met David a couple of years previous at another wedding he was working at and he had made a lasting impression as a result of his fly on the wall approach and ability to put people at ease.

David was incredible and I cannot recommend him enough. His relaxed and unobtrusive style was the perfect fit for us. I didn't feel like we were having photos taken for too long - we were able to make our own drinks reception!! David is super friendly to deal with. He was excellent in communicating with us prior to the wedding; on the day and in follow up services. He brought a lot of positive energy on the wedding day and worked seamlessly with us all day, getting some beautiful photos for us which we are absolutely thrilled about.
The photos did take a little longer than we had anticipated on the day but as soon as I asked David if we could wrap it up to go and enjoy the day he acted immediately which I really appreciated.

When choosing a photographer, we knew David was the one for us !We were lucky to meet David at our brother's wedding a few years ago ,We loved his style and how unobtrusive he was on the day. He is a true professional ,and always replied to any questions straight away ,no email was unanswered .He has not only photographed myself and my brothers but two other family weddings this year, my niece and sister's.

Highly recommend David as a wedding photographer! He captured our big day on the 14th of May 2022 in the Station House Hotel in Meath and couldn't have been nicer to deal with. From the beginning he put everyone at ease, the relaxed atmosphere resulted in stunning photos!

Myself and my husband got married on Saturday 30th April 2022 in Clontarf Castle Hotel . David was actually the 1st supplier we booked back in 202 & having been at 2 friends weddings with David as the photographer we knew straight away that we wanted to book him in early !

David was our photographer at our wedding in November 2021. He was the first and only photographer we made contact with and from our initial meeting onwards he was excellent.

We had to reschedule due to Covid and there was a lot of back and forth with David during that time, he was so accommodating and quick to respond to our emails. He was with us from first thing in the morning until after the first dance and I think he managed to make friends with almost all of our guests during that time (my sisters still mention him in conversation 6 months later!).

We decided to take our photographs before the ceremony so we could enjoy the drinks reception with our guests and as I have a large immediate family we specifically asked that we didn't spend too long on formal photographs. David was a pro at organising us all and he managed to get all the family photographs taken in record time.

It was important for us to get as many casual photographs of both our families and friends throughout the day and David did just that. He seemed to be everywhere at once and got so many fantastic shots of everyone without being intrusive.

We met up with David recently to get our wedding albums and we are absolutely delighted with them, he did an excellent job and it's nice to have something to remember the day by. We are so glad we found David when searching for a photographer and would happily recommend him to any other couples planning a wedding.

We had David as our wedding photographer on 2nd October 2021 at the beautiful Palmerstown House, Co. Kildare. He was recommended to us by a friend. We are so happy we picked David to photograph our wedding day. Leading up to the wedding, he was extremely professional and quick at replying to our email enquiries. On the day, he was so happy and friendly to everyone and after a while, I didn't even notice he was taking photos. I found David by chance online and after meeting with him in person booked him straight away. David is an absolute gent and was great for coming back to emails and keeping in touch. On the day of the wedding David slotted into the preparations perfectly, he made sure he knew all of the bridal party by name and just got stuck in straight away. How do you even begin to thank a professional like David? He was absolutely amazing on the day of our wedding! We had him at my childhood home to start, where he was very much in the background, snapping away while all the chaos began. There were times when I didn't even notice him, only to look back now and see that from that, we have received some of our best pictures! David was the photographer at our wedding on 22nd June 2017. We were married in Ballymagarvey Village in County Meath.

To say David was fantastic would be an understatement! He did an extraordinary job. We met with him before the wedding and shared our ideas for photos with him, he was so accommodating right from the start, he never tried to influence our ideas in any way but gave wonderful hints and tips. We were looking for natural photos with as much colour and vibrancy as could be captured.

David knew exactly what we were looking for and assured us he would be able to disappear into the wedding and get the best shots for us. And he did exactly that. We loved all of his pictures. The album he created for us is incredible. The craftsmanship he poured in to it really stands out.

On the day of the wedding, David was amazing, in fact he was so professional he added to the calmness of the day. It was great to see him mingling with the guests and taking candid shots as he went. David has experience working in Ballymagarvey which meant he knew exactly where the best pictures could be taken, but again, never pushed us or staged anything, he just let us be us and captured the perfect moments of the day. David did an absolutely amazing job and was wonderful on the day. As for the photos, we really loved them. I don't like pictures of myself, they are never good, but was thrilled to bits with David's. We took forever getting back with our final choices due to how difficult a job it was picking what went in the album, I loved them all. Also, David was so good about doing the album when I finally did give him the list. I cannot recommend David enough!

David's style and quality of photography is amazing. He listened attentively to what we want and was very organised having sent us a list of questions ahead of the day to include who our family members were, the wedding party, etc and a list of photos we wanted to have. I would say what makes David a great wedding photographer is what makes him a great person; he is friendly and caring, and took a genuine interest in getting to know who we were as a couple as well as what we wanted.
David was recommended to us by a friend and though we had contacted other photographers, we knew once we had met with him that he was the one for us. We wanted someone who would capture the key moments and the people and the spirit of the day without being too obtrusive. David understood this and delivered it perfectly.
In addition to capturing our wedding day, David also helped us greatly by facilitating an engagement shoot. Neither of us are great in front of the camera but David was able to give us some good tips and made us feel very relaxed.

We first met David at a family wedding and even though we weren't engaged at the time we were very impressed with how unobtrusive his photography style was and how relaxed he made everyone feel on the day. When the time came to organise our own big day we contacted David and happily he was free to cover our wedding day. We chose David as our wedding photographer as he was recommended to us by a friend. We were looking for someone who would be relaxed with us and our guests, he didn't disappoint. We were married on 2nd October 2015 in Monknewtown Church, Slane, Co. Meath and had our reception at Bloomfield House Hotel, Mullingar, Co. Westmeath.

We initially met David in a hotel in Dublin after some email correspondence and a chat on the phone. When we met he spent time getting to know us, asking about how we met, what we did for a living and a whole range of topics. He's very easy to talk to and looking back it's clear that this is how David forms a picture in his mind of what the couple are like. We explained what we wanted from him and we were confident that he could deliver.
He showed us examples of other weddings he'd shot and the wedding album including the handmade cover from Italy. We were delighted at this stage to book him. He's really friendly, he has a very relaxed personality and his packages offered real value for money too!!

In the lead up to the wedding David was regularly in touch just to make sure he knew exactly what we wanted as well as knowing where to be and when. He arrived to where I (The Groom) was staying first and immediately set about his day. He asks questions about things to see if there's any history behind them, another way of him finding out what's important to you personally so that he can highlight that, for you! He took some lovely shots with me, my Best Man and my Groomsman and also some alternative shots of the wedding rings too.
He then headed to our house to capture Eibhlin getting ready with the Bridesmaids which included my daughter. He took some amazing shots of them all. There are some really natural photographs there that we'll love forever.

Again, outside the church David captured some superb shots before and after the ceremony. Inside, he was almost invisible. I certainly wasn't aware of him whilst the ceremony was ongoing.

After the ceremony myself, Eibhlin and David went to the historic Hill of Slane where he took some of our favourite snaps.
We headed to Mullingar and once there we went to the Lough Ennell which meets the grounds of the hotel. We had our "official" family snaps taken here and well as ones of just myself and Eibhlin. Again, these are some of our favourite photos. One of the family members had a slight issue with the hem on their dress and David managed to edit this out for the album.
He captured some great photographs of our guests and each and every one of them commented what a lovely guy he was.

When we eventually got our act together and chose all of our photographs for the albums, David was very quick to respond and act on what needed to be done. We only waited a few short weeks to receive them. We again met up in the Dublin hotel and sat chatting to him for around 2 hrs. The quality of the albums are superb.
We're absolutely delighted with them and to have chosen David to capture our big day. If you're looking for a photographer who is friendly, relaxed and very easy to deal with then look no further. David was fantastic, he captured everything we wanted but in such natural way. When we met David to collect our album it was more like meeting with a friend than just our photographer.

In our planning, we knew that the wedding party was relatively small which would allow a photographer to capture very intimate aspects of the day for everyone involved (max 40). For that reason we placed a premium on the quality of photos themselves and the personality of the photographer. I first conducted an extensive search online nd then narrowed down our options in order to meet some photographers. But, when it came down to it, there was only one photographer to meet and this was David because of the sheer beauty in his portfolio. We viewed his work online and went through his extensive portfolio paying particular attention to his close-ups, landscapes as well as those serendipitous opportunities that arise on family occasions like ours. We knew that his work met all of our requirements. When we met him (and he was so willing to meet us halfway between Dublin and Belfast), it was the icing on the cake because he was so personable and interested in us as a couple. His main aim was to get a sense of who we were, what we had planned for our wedding day, the kinds of images we wanted as well as the characters (young and old) at the wedding. This was very important to him (and to us) and it paid off 1000-fold on the day. David was exceptional on the day of our wedding. Given that our party size was just under 40, his presence could have overtaken guests or made them feel like they were under the microscope. It was entirely the opposite because he became one of the party, so much so that my nephew even got a photograph of David in action. There are very few of him behind the camera! He blended in and became part of our party. Our photos were absolutely beautiful - in terms of composition, imagery, photography and finish. They captured details on the day that we would never have seen or appreciated, they captured the many characters (young and old) immaculately and, most importantly, they treasure the emotion and connection and love that we had as a couple. We would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending David. In fact, two of our wedding party got married a year later and also had David involved.

We absolutely loved having David as our photographer. We knew from his portfolio that his pictures were beautiful, but when we met him for an introductory coffee and were still there chatting away a few hours later, we knew he was the right person for us.

We found David really warm and friendly and he captured all the big moments of the day, and a thousand tiny details that made the day special. He was really unobtrusive and our album is full of photos we didn't even know he was taking. Lots of our guests commented on how polite and easy to talk to he was. He made everyone feel at ease for our few posed photos and then gathered memories for us in an unimposing way that meant no one felt self-conscious of being photographed as they celebrated the day with us.

We really can't recommend David highly enough. Not only do we have beautiful photos with which to remember our day, but we had a lovely experience with him as well, very professional, always easy to deal with, prompt with replies, and always having a sunny disposition. We contacted David to photograph our civil partnership after seeing his work on his website and loved what we saw. We particularly liked his unplanned/unposed photos which was the style we preferred. Through all our dealings with David prior to the wedding he was friendly, courteous, punctual, understanding and enthusiastic.
On the big day David was there early to capture the preparations and was with us until late in the evening. He was unobtrusive and undemanding. We never felt pressured or stressed and he was always calm and collected. He captured the few posed photos we wanted but mainly we gave him free reign to do his thing. We couldn't have been happier with how the day went.
When we received our album we were thrilled with the results. We paid extra for the A3 size photo book and it was worth every penny. We had a combination of some posed shots but mainly candid shots of our wonderful day, many of which we hadn't even noticed him taking.
We wouldn't hesitate to recommend David as your photographer. In fact Dave's mother was so impressed she hired David to photograph Dave's sisters wedding!

One of the main reasons we chose David for our wedding was due to his natural style and ability to capture things as they happened on the day. He was a joy to work with and did not order us around as I have seen other wedding photographers do. This meant that our guests were happy and relaxed and we were too! Even our priest complemented him on his ability to capture all of the important parts of the ceremony without interfering with it in any way. We were delighted with our photo album and every time we look at it, it completely brings the day back to us. David has a special ability to capture the character of people in his photography, which is an art in itself, as this is what makes the photographs all the more special to us.
