Segrave Barns

I have nothing but good things to say. We wanted a local wedding with a relaxed atmosphere and that’s what we got. The staff made you feel welcome and at home. The food was perfect. Eugene sang and the whole room had his undivided attention. This venue is just special and now holds a special place in our families hearts.

It is a gem in County Louth, and I cannot recommend a better place to get married. It is pure magic and unique. The staff was super professional, paying attention to each detail; there was no need to panic; our job was to enjoy every moment.

All my friends and family said our wedding was the best they have ever been. It was hard to leave such a fantastic place.

Seagravarns and its staff made our day unforgettable.

When we got engaged this was the first place we wanted to view and see if it was a match for our big day - when we went to meet Eugene and John and view the venue we didn't even bother looking anywhere else and we couldn't have chosen a better place.

Eugene and John were both so helpful and every me ever of staff on our day were so accommodating and so friendly and our guests were singing their praises.

This place is absolutely fabulous and there is surprises all throughout the day. We couldn't recommend this venue more to people who ask us.

To all the incredible staff at Segrave Barns, thank you so much for the most incredible week.
Words don't really do the place justice at all.
Can't wait to get back again. x

Segrave Barns as a venue could not have been more perfect for our day. The beautiful setting and options for indoor or outdoor ceremony meant that the Irish weather was never a worry for us. From our first visit John and Eugene were happy to guide us and answer any questions we had - they were also just lovely, friendly people. They made us feel relaxed. Arriving the day before gave us a chance to settle in, we felt at home and were able to explore and become familiar with the grounds. We met John for a quick run through of the day to ensure we did not forget anything.
Getting ready in Ashtree Barn was like a dream. The amount of space was more than enough for the whole family to enjoy breakfast and still feel involved in the hair and make up party. The amount of light in the room created a lovely, fresh atmosphere and allowed for amazing prep photos.
The staff were fantastic in guiding the bridal party to the forest for the ceremony and being greeted after with a glass of bubbly was such a nice touch. From entering the forest ceremony, to the ease of the reception, the fantastic relaxed area for speeches and being serenaded by the singing chef - it was, for us, the most amazing day and we could not have asked for more out of Segrave Barns. They gave us the day of our dreams.

John, Eugene and the staff @ Segrave Barns Dunany are amazing???? We had the best weekend ever ???? Everything was just perfect. We couldn't have asked for a more perfect wedding venue x

This was the only venue we were ever going to get married at. I cannot rate it highly enough - there are not enough words to explain how amazing the people who own and run Segrave are. The venue itself is stunning, the attention to detail is other level and so much is done to make your life easy. I wasn't great at planning all the extra bits like table decorations and flowers and they helped me with it all. Their advice was as good as having a full planner. The day ran so smoothly and they became part of our day. My family are still talking about the venue. We cannot wait to go back as guests for a wedding (and if I could do it all over again I certainly would!!)

I was here for my cousins wedding in June 2019. Without a doubt, it was the most magical day with all the family. I stayed in a pod and they were very comfortable, cosy and great value for money. The staff were second to none and nothing was to much trouble for them. Food was top class .I really hope to return here soon.
