The Glenroyal Hotel

We had our wedding day in the Glenroyal in September. Could not fault the hotel on a single thing! Originally a 2020 wedding that was postponed many times due to Covid. All through the uncertain times the hotel was at the end of a phonecall or email answering any and all questions we had and most of all reassuring us! Every aspect of planning the day with them was so easy from meal tasting to setting up the night before. Even the reservations team were fantastic with our guests changing their accommodation several times due to several date changes! The day itself ran so smoothly. Our wedding coordinator Ally and event coordinator Jenny ensured that no small detail was overlooked and were on hand for everything we needed. Guests are still talking about how good the food was! Not just the meal but the afters food was a big hit also. We stayed a second day with family and friends and staff were just as attentive. Looking forward to revisiting on our anniversary. We cannot thank the staff enough for how wonderful they helped make the day!

Myself and my now husband had our wedding here in September and we couldn’t of been happier to have our wedding here. Ally our wedding coordinator went above and beyond for us and made sure we were happy each step of the way. We had previously booked another hotel and didn’t feel comfortable as they weren’t reassuring so changed to the Glenroyal. This hotel has and always will be a family favourite of ours the staff are amazing and will always make sure you’re looked after. As I’m sure for everyone food was a big deal and all of our guests said how nice and flavoursome the meal was. Over the course of our weekend the staff always checked to see how we were they really are amazing and so attentive. I can’t thank Ally enough for all the help she gave us and also a big thank you to Ted who made our entrance as Mr&Mrs very memorable. Thank you so much to the Glenroyal Hotel and all staff there we will 100% be seeing you all again.

We had our wedding in Glenroyal and they were brilliant to us, so happy we booked there and strongly recommend it to anyone for wedding or to stay there. Initially we booked a meeting with the wedding planner because -Photos of wedding rooms looked great -Facilities like swimming pools, kids room, bar, restaurant and coffee shop would suit all our guest. -Hotel was beside train station, Dublin bus stop and airport bus stop so easy access for our guests. -Hotel is 5 minute walk into main street in Maynooth so guests could stay for 3 nights and have plenty of things to do. When we met Claira (Wedding Planner) we booked the Glenroyal straight after the meeting because we loved the hotel but most importantly because she treated us like a friend and we knew she would deliver a special day for us. Throughout the wedding preparation and wedding day she was amazing to us, she went way beyond what she needed to do. Nothing was ever a problem; we were treated so well and could not speak highly enough of her. On the wedding day itself Claira and Ted (Hotel Manager) were constantly overseeing that the day ran smoothly and the communication to us throughout the day was excellent. Any vendors like DJ Paul Soul they recommended were brilliant too. We had 140 guests attending the wedding, around 70 of those stayed in the hotel for 3 nights. All the guests spoke so highly of the Glenroyal. The rooms, facilities, location, food and wedding reception room were all great. The main reason that you should book a wedding in Glenroyal is the staff. We stayed there for 3 nights and Ted, Claira and the staff made it feel like a home rather than hotel- they were incredible to us. Cesar, Katie, Nelly, Siobhan, Vicky, Michael, Emily and Killian all worked so hard and helped make our wedding in Glenroyal a special occasion for us. Honestly all staff throughout the hotel were so professional and friendly to our guests, we were made to feel so welcome, thank you!
