We recently celebrated our wedding at the Old Rectory. From the beginning Julie was brilliant in making the day perfect. Always there to help out and she made the planning so easy. The day itself was like a fairytale. Fabulous courtyard to greet guests and the marquee itself was beautiful. Everyone has been raving about the food since it was fabulous. Julie , Pat and all the staff were fantastic. Thank you so much Julie for all you did for us. We had such a blast and so did our guests. It will be a day to remember. Avril & Paul

Fantastic Venue
I can't recommend this family run venue enough.
First of all the venue and surrounding countryside is amazing and great for photos.
Julie would do anything for you to make your special day spectacular. She is so attentive, and nothing was too much, and she completely took the pressure and stress out of the planning in the weeks before and on the day. She even made centre pieces and decorations for the tables.
On the day, the venue was warm, beautiful, and so inviting more than we could have wished for. The staff were so pleasant and helpful.
The food was well presented and was tasty and everything was spotlessly clean. Even the next morning Julie and her family were up and made everyone breakfast when most of us had sore heads but still nothing was too much to ask for. I really enjoyed my stay in the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in if my car would have been big enough Julie would have been short a mattress. Joking. Now I've told you all this it wasn't my wedding that took place at Julies venue but my sister's wedding that I helped to organise, but if I ever do get married you can be sure Julie will be getting a call from me.

We so loved going on the journey with you to plan your wedding, it definitely had a lot of ups and downs along the way and we are so happy that it turned out to be exactly as you wanted it. It was lovely to meet your families and friends over the weekend and we are so glad everyone enjoyed their stay and your wedding day. We wish you both a lifetime of happiness together
From the moment we arrived at The Old Rectory, we knew this was the place where we were going to get married. From the breathtaking lake views, the immaculate gardens and the stunning Pavilion we were blown away. Julie, Patrick and their team have their magnificent venue looking phenomenal.
We had our wedding on the 22nd August 2021. Planning our day was effortless thanks to Julie's help and keen eye for detail. Our Humanist Ceremony was held under a towering mature tree overlooking the lake making for a magical setting.
The Courtyard made the perfect place to hold the Canap? and drinks reception for our guests while we explored the grounds and House with our photographer and videographer.
The House itself is tastefully decorated and restored with period features and furniture. The sitting room was the perfect location to take photographs to capture the character and class of the property.
The Glass fronted Pavilion overlooking Fenagh Lake is the most amazing setting for any special occasion. The finish and decor is second to none and blew our guests away. From the hand stained wall panelling to the Fairy light covered roof this place is truly magical.
The meal we shared with our guests was fantastic, and served to us promptly. The staff were exceptional and a credit to the venue as nothing was too much trouble.
Our families and close friends stayed the night in the self catering accommodation and the main house. All accommodation is remarkably decorated and in keeping with the character of the venue.

The Old Rectory was everything and more to us for our big day! We planned the wedding in 7 months and nothing was ever too short notice or too much trouble for Julie and the team. The venue and staff are second to none and the atmosphere at the venue is amazing.

The Country house is stunning and old worldy, I chose to get ready in the house. The rooms in the house are beautiful.
The Barn is so rustic and an excellent option for drinks or ceremony. The courtyard apartments are finished to a very high standard and the guests are still talking about the breakfast and the homemade bread. The little touches are notable everywhere.
The chalet is perfect for the newly married couple and so romantic.
The marquee set up was exquisite and the meal was delicious.
Julie,Pat ,Aoife and all the staff were so welcoming at each visit, we felt like part of the family on our wedding day and enjoyed every minute of the relaxed cosy atmosphere. I just wish we could do it all again. Julie is an excellent event organiser and the reason why I enjoyed the build up and did not have 1 day of stress. Book a visit and you will be hooked.
