If you’ve ever wanted to see what real life couples have chosen for their wedding decor, this is for you! Sometimes the best way to see what a beautiful wedding colour scheme looks like is to see how other couples did it.
Get some wedding colour scheme inspiration from real life couples:
Dusty Pink and Navy Blue
Mary and Patrick’s wedding colours were dusty pink and navy blue – which you can see beautifully in their wedding party outfits. These seasonal colours extended into their floral arrangements, with dusty pinks, neutrals and some lavender! We love that they brought their colour scheme into the wedding invitations, mass booklets and reception flower arrangements too.
Sage and Green
Actor Johnny Ward and Brenda’s entire wedding was decorated with their theme in mind: classic, elegant and timeless.
They chose their flowers very carefully, with predominantly white blooms interspersed with sage green eucalyptus. Lorna, the wedding coordinator at The Westgrove Hotel brought their colour scheme into the decor throughout the entire hotel. From the welcome sign in the foyer and arrivals area to the amazing floral displays at the grand staircase, to the centrepieces in the banqueting suite.
Rose Gold and Blush Pink
Rachel and Dermot really wanted a boho wedding that was very casual. They didn’t have much of a theme, other than a rose gold and blush colour scheme which you can see in the bridesmaids’ dresses, signage and jewellery.
Emerald Green
Caoimhe and Blake have always been a fan of bold colours. For their wedding they chose an emerald green colour theme reflected in all aspects from the wedding cars to the seating plan, menus and wedding favours set at each place setting.
Blue
The closest thing Jen and Robbie had to a wedding theme was probably the colour blue, a favourite of Jen’s. They found a wedding website theme they liked and then matched their invites to that.
Pink and Florals
Alan and Alice describe their wedding as simple, with pink and florals.
“We had our ceremony outside in the walled garden in Rathsallagh. The sun was shining, it was a beautiful day.”
Lilac
Lilac is Lauren’s favourite colour so of course, that became their theme! They opted for something classy, but laid back, with no stress. Lauren is surprised that somehow she was the most chilled bride ever. As a result, the day just flowed.
Cream, Brown and Green
We love Claire and Paddy’s wedding style! They opted for a boho theme with creams, browns and greens.
