Afterwards invite your guests for a beautiful 4 course meal in the dining terrace of our converted barn alongside the gardens and after, celebrate in style with dancing and more. Weddings often take place on Saturday, and the couple have exclusivity of the house and grounds from Friday (check-in) at 3pm until Sunday (check out) at 12 noon.

Durhamstown Castle, Bohermeen, Co Meath

Are you looking for somewhere really different? Durhamstown is certainly that! A seriously old Castle, a great big Barn for feasting & dancing, plus two houses for guest overflow, all opening onto a large restored courtyard. We now even have a ceremony Barn to get married in. Every wedding here is exclusive. Not a marquee or chiavari chair in sight! And it’s only 40 minutes from Dublin, Dublin airport & Ferry port.

The Great Barn will encourage you to get in touch with your inner bohemian, so feel free to hang festival lights, have lovely rustic flower arrangements in the windows & ivy trailing along the wooden beams. We can provide jam jars with broderie anglaise & sparkly tea lights, all set out on hessian runners.
