Gorgeous Wedding Decor Spotted In Real Weddings

Décor & Flowers

If you’re anything like me, you love looking at real weddings just to see what real life couples did on their Big Day. Want to see some gorgeous wedding decor spotted in real weddings? Then check this out and be prepared to be inspired:

Pink and White

Hayley and Gary chose dusky pink and white for their wedding! As it was summer, they really wanted to lean into the summer theme. They incorporated sweet details like the love heart fans and sunglasses, which came in handy on such a sunny day.

Hayley says, “The hotel was perfect for my theme as the reception drinks area is so open and bright and the dinner room has beautiful crystal chandeliers hanging from the ceiling, which matched our welcome mirror and seating plan as they were mirrored and had some dusky pink and white flowers for decoration.”

Pink and Gold

Marie and Brian planned a gorgeous pink and gold themed wedding!

“Pink and gold encapsulated the wedding invitations, bridesmaids’ dresses, the wedding flowers, the page boys’ ties, the flower girls’ satin belts, signage, ceremony booklets, the wedding reception and our wedding cake.”

All Their Favourite Colours

Sarah and Keith chose colours they love! The groomsmen wore navy blue suits, while the bridesmaids wore turquoise blue dresses. We love the beautiful shades of pink, white and green in the bouquets and buttonholes.

Simple and Classic

Jess and Michael describe their wedding as simple and classic, with the colours white, off white and blush pink!

We love how they incorporated simple mason jars with fairy lights into the decor, along with a fun Jenga game guest book!

Tankardstown House was absolutely perfect, with little decoration needed. The staff were phenomenal and very hands on. The food was top knotch and all guests were happy. Couldn’t recommend them enough. Aine was our wedding coordinator and she was brilliant.”

Pink, Neutral and Lavender

Mary and Patrick’s wedding colours were dusty pink and navy blue – which you can see beautifully in their wedding party outfits. These seasonal colours extended into their floral arrangements, with dusty pinks, neutrals and some lavender! We love that they brought their colour scheme into the wedding invitations, mass booklets and reception flower arrangements too.

Sage and Eucalyptus

Johnny and Brenda’s entire wedding was decorated with their theme in mind: classic, elegant and timeless.

They chose their flowers very carefully, with predominantly white blooms interspersed with sage green eucalyptus. Lorna, the wedding coordinator at The Westgrove Hotel brought their colour scheme into the decor throughout the entire hotel. From the welcome sign in the foyer and arrivals area to the amazing floral displays at the grand staircase, to the centrepieces in the banqueting suite.

A Garden Wedding

Lauren and Martin originally planned to host a bigger wedding in August 2021, but Covid hit and their plans were disrupted. Lauren’s mum is a keen gardened and had already begun growing flowers for the wedding. So, they decided instead to bring the wedding to the flowers! They hosted a small garden wedding and kept everything simple. There was no wedding party and Lauren did her own hair and makeup. They served Handsome Burgers on paper plates for dinner and had no seating plan.

“Our wedding was at home in my mum’s beautiful garden. My mum did all the flowers, my dad made the tables and built a bar in his shed. We had a small marquee in case it rained (thankfully it didn’t) and used the patio area as a dance floor.”
