John Delaney Photography

John was the photographer for our wedding on the 30th of December in Langton's hotel, he had everyone at ease from the beginning, he was exactly what we wanted in a photographer and very efficient. We are so happy with the photos he has sent so far and looking forward to the rest. We would highly recommend John to anyone.

John dealt with our wedding photographs, both in a relaxed and humorous manner exactly what I wanted.

I loved the fun we had taking them and the results speak for themselves. Fabulous if I do say so myself.

We booked John Delaney as our wedding photographer for our September wedding 2023 and all I can say is he definitely did not disappoint!!
He was brilliant from the very first time we spoke and so helpful with any questions asked.
The day of our wedding was a breeze and that is down to people like John who are so professional at what they do in each and every way.
He was great with all our guests and got some amazing shots without us even knowing, he is gifted at what he does.
The photo's we have gotten from John are unbelievable.We love everyone of them and it was so hard to choose for our album beacuse they were honsetly, all great!!
We were married on a Thursday and the Saturday of that same week, John had a sneak peak of 60 photo's for us to look at and the following Tuesday he had delivered our usb stick with nearly 800 hundred photo's in a beautifully carved wooden box.
John hand delivered our wedding album to us yesterday and all I can say is WOW!!! It is fantastic, every picture brings back a happy memorie from that day. The album it's self is packed with photo's, black and white, coloured and the quality itself is brilliant and beautifully finished. We love it.
We really can not thank John enough for everything he has done, he is brilliant at he's job and is such a nice and genuine person to deal with.

John was an absolute pleasure to work with on our wedding day and captured many beautiful memories in a stress free way! The quality of the photographs were superb, with great use of lighting. He also captured the guests in many natural shots, which captured emotions on the day (moments we may have missed!).. Alp though it rained all day long and I was not doing John any favours with saying no to most things he was asking John still captured every special moment for us both and more, I can't express how the photos he took turned out absolutely amazing and that he actually managed to get gorgeous photos from a very stubborn bride.

Today John hand delivered our photo album and drove all the way from Kk to present us with our album together again after the wedding it was a lovely Monet shared with myself the groom and the photographer., catching up about the wedding day and events that took place to talking about each individual photo he took which took us right back to that very moment that took place on the day.

I can't not thank you enough for all you have done and would highly recommend you to anyone I know due to be married or planning a further wedding. Main factors to keep in mind when choosing someone to trust and capture your special day.

1- communication between the photographer and the bride and he was an absolute amazing man to deal with so comfort so down to earth he actually felt like a long lost friend catching up with our now life!!

2- character and John definitely has this from running across the green the morning of the wedding with the rings to the groom as I forgot to hand them to him making jokes to break a tension moments giving me tips on how to place my vail as it was very windy incase it blew off.

The list really goes on for John I can't say anything bad or wrong.

Just delighted that he was the man that caught our day and has giving us these pictures to cherish forever

The best in the business. From the minute we got in contact with John he was a pleasure to deal with. He was friendly, professional and efficient. When it came to the day John was brilliant, he is very good with people and is a master of his craft. His professional and efficient style made the day go seamlessly for us.
We had the slideshow included in our package and we were blown away the next day when we received it. John also got our USB out to us two weeks after the wedding and we received our album extremely quickly. We hired John for our wedding on Sunday August 28th, 2022 in Kilkenny and had an engagement shoot with him a few months prior.

We really couldn't recommend John enough.

When we were looking for a wedding photographer, we were looking 2 or 3 things.

1. We wanted a photographer that was good. John is better than good. He's exceptional at what he does. We're delighted with the photos. He's a multi-award winning photographer with a world of experience and it shows in his photos.

2. We wanted a decent turn-around time from the day of the wedding to the day we got our photos. Prior to the wedding, Kate & I hoped to have them before Christmas (within 4 months of the wedding date). We got them within 2 weeks of the wedding. At the time of our wedding, John was in the middle of a crazy run of weddings (maybe 20 in 5 or 6 weeks) so to get the photos back so quickly was unexpected and very appreciated.

3. We wanted a photographer who put us at ease. John did that. He brought a bit of fun, and a bit of craic to our engagement shoot, and everybody was at ease on the wedding day for photos, too. John's very professional but also fun to work with.

We highly recommend him as a wedding photographer.

I really can't recommend John enough! I've seen his work over the years & always knew he would be my photographer for my wedding when the day finally came. I've only gotten a few teasers of my pics & we are already blown away! Such a talented man but also one of the nicest & funniest you'll meet. Due to covid I had only met John once to discuss our wedding so was a bit nervous for the morning of. I needn't have worried - he slotted right in with us & everything felt so easy. We soon realised we were all as mad as eachother so plenty of laughs were had. I was sad to see him leave at the end of the night as we got a great buzz off him! He goes above & beyond for you on the day. He ran around and helped out more than my bridal party. He's an absolute gent. You won't regret putting your faith in him I swear he is amazing... the awards speak for themselves! I highly recommend John Delaney photography he done my wedding on Wednesday he was a pleasure to work with u wouldn't even know he was there he fit right in with everyone he had my usb full of my photographs delivered to me today 2 days after been married he just made our day magical from start to finish

We had John for photography at our wedding back in November and he was fantastic. Nothing was too much to ask from him, from the time we booked him anytime we asked questions he was quick with replying back to us. He took any guests photo that asked for it. Would highly recommend John

John is an absolutely amazing photographer. His professionalism and attention not detail is next to none. He made us all feel at ease on our wedding day and at times I didn't even notice he was there. He is funny and makes everyone feel so relaxed throughout the day. We had John for our wedding back 4 years ago. He was great and so easy going. The weather was beautiful and John captured the day perfectly. We loved our bridal party pics but he also got our guests relaxing and chatting. So nice too see these after the big day is over. Thanks John.

We got married in carlow had a very intimate wedding. I'm not a fan of photographs so I was apprehensive I couldn't have wished for a better photographer John was amazing we had such a laugh with him all day long he put us at ease and he was such a special part of our big day. Highly recommend xx

John is very professional. His duty of care towards his clients is top notch. I lost both of my parents prior to my wedding and john done everything in his power to ensure my albums were missing no important family moments. I also have a little girl and he done everything in his power to include her. He treated the whole family and extended family with equal importance capturing all the right moments. I had my album before my honeymoon was over. I pull my album out every once and awhile to relive the day. Thanks john.
