Cannot fault the hotel and location in any way. Niall and all the staff were so helpful when we had any queries, big and small about anything from the day we booked the venue.

I have worked in a lot of hotels in Cork City and worked at a lot of weddings in my time so when it came to my own wedding I wanted something different and out of the ordinary. I didn’t want the flatpack, clip-to-assemble packaged wedding that I had seen a thousand times. Karen, my fiancée (now wife) and I, searched for different and alternative weddings in Ireland that would still be romantic but with that “Je ne sais quoi” of an enchanted Irish wedding. We even googled terms like “different weddings Ireland” or “alternative weddings Ireland” but the right wedding for us found us in the form of The Aran Islands Hotel. The main benefit of an island wedding was that our guest left their cars and troubles behind as they disembarked from the ferry. Each guest was committed to a few days of relaxation in an friendly atmosphere which offered the opportunity to connect with family and friends and to completely switch off and absorb the proceedings of our wedding day. The local community around Kilronan and Inismor were grateful to us for bringing the wedding to the island because of the benefits to the community as a whole and we were treated as minor celebrities as the Bride and Groom. Niall Madigan and the staff at The Aran Islands Hotel never let their limited resources and humble surroundings, be boundaries to our imaginations and dreams of a prefect wedding which we have romanticized over for half our lives. Set against a transitional backdrop on the edge of the world, where white sands, and karst rock combine to offer a homely relaxed wedding in an atmosphere of pure love and endless welcomes. As an archaeologist I have always loved the raw beauty of west of Ireland and found the perfect alternative wedding venue in the Aran Islands Hotel. The Hotel staff treated us like family and our every need was catered for with a smile and I can honestly say that we were on first name terms with all of the staff be the time we left the Island as Mr and Mrs Keating. Our fairy tale wedding was complete and our happy ever after has begun, writing new pages day by day. Thank you to The Aran Islands Hotel for our opening chapter!

We had a brilliant weekend for our wedding despite the weather on the day. Niall and Monica were so helpful and flexible. Nothing was ever an issue and everything on the day went really well. The BBQ the next day was also fantastic and all our guests had a wonderful time. A year later they are all still talking about their weekend on Inis Mor for our wedding.

Don't let the relaxed nature of the hotel fool you, these guys seriously know what they're at! Niall and the staff at the Aran Islands Hotel could not have been more professional or attentive. They made everything look easy and nothing was too much for them. The day flowed seamlessly which is without a doubt all down to the expert management of the hotel. If you're even half thinking about booking the Aran Island Hotel for your wedding just go ahead and book, you won't regret it!!

We got married September 2017 and had the best time ever! Niall and his team go above and beyond the call of duty! The only negative was the weekend went too quick.

My husband and I got married in the Aran Islands Hotel in August 2017. From start to finish, Niall and his team went above and beyond to ensure that our day was absolutely perfect. They were so flexible with what we wanted, while sometimes gently reminding us that some things might take a bit longer than we had anticipated, in order for the day to flow perfectly. The venue looked absolutely amazing, and the food was fantastic. All of our guests commented on how great the day was, and the Hotel even made sure that all of our guests got home safely to their houses or B&B's - they really went the extra mile for us and I couldn't recommend them enough!

The staff at the hotel are amazing! Niall and Keith are absolute doers. Niall pretty much took care of everything for me. The food was amazing, we had a buffet style meal, because I wanted a more casual day. And my guests are still raving about how good it was. The marquee was beautifully decorated I simply added my own few touches. We had the ceremony and the reception right there at the hotel, was supposed to be an outdoor ceremony but alas the Irish rain arrived but within half an hour they had the marquee changed around to have the ceremony indoors. The staff are all amazingly helpful. The food is divine. Honestly couldn't recommend the place enough.

Niall the hotel manager of the Aran Islands Hotel was top class. He went above and beyond helping us prepare for our big day from helping us find our church singers , hairdresser, beautician, ferrying guests from the boat , to the hotel, to the church ..

The Aran Islands hotel is the perfect hotel for the couple looking for something a little different. Niall, Keith, Miriam and their brilliant team couldn't do enough for us. The staff make the hotel feel like a home away from home, with the professionalism and care that is required. From day one the staff are welcoming and helpful, and all shared in the excitement for our big day. We all settled in on the Friday evening, where family reconnected and danced the night away as the excitement built. Saturday went off without a hitch, and with the amazing help of Niall and his team we even pulled off a beach ceremony. Sunday was spent well with a guided bus tour of the island, blowing off the cobwebs on Dun Aonghasa and settling down in the evening for a meal and traditional music, to end the weekend. We had the perfect weekend wedding, in an unique setting that ourselves and our guests will never forget.

We booked the Aran Islands Hotel for our small wedding party (approx. 35) having arranged a spiritual, non-religious, wedding with Dara O'Maoildhia on the island. Admittedly, we were a little hesitant at first but choice on the island is limited and we had our hearts set on the outdoor wedding at Cill Chiaráin. Looking back now, we wouldn't have had it any other way. From start to finish, it was easy to organise, the team at the hotel were an absolute pleasure to deal with and the guests were totally 'wowed' by their visit to the island (we arranged a morning trip of the island to make sure they got to see it). The quality of the 'marquee' was better than many a hotel function room, with the added bonus of amazing sea views. There was no sense of wanting to rush us in and out either, as I've seen at other wedding venues, and the food was really excellent. The icing on the cake, for us, was that they managed to find a small traditional music group to play the evening out.

we can not fault the staff and management of the Aran islands hotel whatsoever. Because of their professionalism and attention to detail it truly made our special day all the more special not just for us but our guests also. Nothing was too much trouble.

Niall, Keith and the whole team were a pleasure to work with in both the run up to the wedding and in the days after our celebrations. There were no issues and they had any issues resolved before we ever realised that they were there! There isn't one thing that we would have changed for our wedding on the Aran Islands.

Niall and his team were an absolute pleasure to deal with. We wanted to have a wedding that was timeless, relaxing, non pretentious, intimate, uniquely Irish and a barrel of fun - and we got all we wanted at the Aran Islands Hotel. They made our wedding weekend a true Irish experiance that we shared with close to 200 guests from Fiji, Europe, Asia, South America, Australia & Ireland. The hotel cooked hearty fresh local cuisine that was enjoyed by all. The bridal suite and rooming configuration of the hotel is excellent. There's lots of room for young and old guests to enjoy indoors and outdoors. The hotel is a 5min walk away from the local church where we tied the knot. This venue is part of a very warm and hospitable Aran Islander community. The locals are so friendly and helpful. The sightseeing of historial Irish forts, dramatic limestone cliffs and coastlines and being a part of the local Aran Island community for that weekend was an experiance we are truly grateful for. The staff were professional and super friendly. Our hired band, hair stylists and photographer from mainland Galway had no trouble getting to the hotel and did a great job on the day. We hired a local make up artist from the island who did a fantastic job. The hotel also arranged authentic Irish bands to entertain our guests at a traditional night we had the night before the wedding and at a bbq we had for guests the day after the wedding. If you're looking to book a hassel free, uniquely Irish and intimate wedding on a beautiful historical island in Ireland then Aran Islands Hotel is highly recommended.

Niall and Keith's crew of wonderful staff were Amazing and really pulled out all the stops for us on our special weekend and any time we visited before the big day. We dealt mostly with Niall and he was always friendly and helpful and genuine with us. Would highly recommend here just one thing to note to prospective Brides this is an island location and even though Niall and his team will do everything they possibly can to make your day special wonderful, it is on an island. We would do it all over again and not change a thing. Sorry that's a lie I'd of shorten the best man's speech cause I was starving and to me 30mins is a novel not a speech!!!!

We were married in the Aran Islands Hotel, Inis Mor in 2013. We cannot fault this hotel. It's got the perfect setting, best management and staff and they really cannot do enough for you. Our wedding started on a Friday with guests arriving, wedding on the Saturday and continued with a bbq on the Sunday evening. You have the beach across the road and the lovely picturesque church around the corner. The local musicians are brilliant who entertained us all weekend and you have local hair and makeup girls on the island. You only have to visit this hotel once and I gaurentee you will be back. I would highly recommend a wedding here.
