Caroline and her team made everything so easy for us. Following on from a few staff changes we were made feel at ease and everything went as planned.
The food was gorgeous and the prices for the packages are more than reasonable.

We had such a perfect wedding reception at the Lady Gregory. I have stayed in a number of 5* Hotels but none of them compared to the personal service we received by the staff of the Lady Gregory.In particular Caroline who made it a very special occasion.
The quality of the food, the beutiful honeymoon suite and the warm and caring team made our day very special.

I honestly don't know where to begin. I got married to my husband just in June and I cannot thank the Lady Gregory, the O'Grady Family, Caroline and staff enough for the wedding they hosted for us and our loved ones. The day was absolutely amazing from start to finish. Any requests we had, they assisted without hesitation. Every little detail about the day was just incredible. The food was heavenly. The music and dancing started at 9.30, on schedule and the staff made this happen. The interior is aestethically pleasing for everyone. The Staff and team put 120 percent into making the most special day of our lives. I couldn't recommend this venue enough. We had our reception drinks in the new Dilly's courtyard and it was like being abroad. The day was promised sunny so we decided to have our music, drinks & nibbles outside and it was such a nice touch to the day. The banquet room is the best around and you will not find better. If you want to have a wedding with scrumptious quality food, brilliant accomodation, great service, uniqueness and to feel very special on your wedding day, book the Lady Gregory and they will not disappoint you.
We have only recieved good feedback and positive comments since our wedding day

If I could do it all again in the morning I would as the lady Gregory made the planning of my wedding stress free.

Olivia, Alan and all the team at the Lady Gregory Hotel are an outstanding bunch. They helped make our day so special. Olivia was so helpful with the planning and nothing was too big an ask, we had a specific vision in mind for the centrepieces and the ones she created were beautiful and just as I had imagined. The Gregory suite looked amazing, it was beautifully decorated and the attention to detail was second to none. The staff were professional and friendly. The service and food was fantastic as always. We couldn't recommend Olivia, Alan and the Lady Gregory enough, thank you so much for giving us a truly magical day.

My sister had her wedding at The Lady Gregory Hotel on November 28th 2020 so it was subject to Covid restrictions. Fiona and the team at the hotel could not have been more helpful both in the lead up to the wedding and on the day itself in making sure that everything was perfect for Alison and Michael despite the restrictions. Although it was not the wedding they had planned I have to say it was such a perfect day and that was thanks in part to the attention to detail, kindness and patience of Fiona and all at the lady Gregory, they went above and beyond to make sure it was lovely day for all.

We got married in the lady Gregory at the end of November 2020 and honestly we could not have asked for a better day. We planned for the usual 200+ before covid hit. Fiona and Olivia looked after us throughout helping plan 2 weddings essentially. Even with the restrictions in place we expected a ?COVID wedding? where everything was stripped back but we got the opposite, the decorations were a huge feature in our photos, the food was great the groom actually ate it (big thing if you knew him). The staff were professional at a level you would expect at a 5star venue and were always on hand all awhile making it seem effortless. They looked after every concern any guest had and allowed us to feel at home... except one of those fancy homes that have staff looking after the owners.
As a couple everything was handled so professionally we would do it all again. My advice to any couple looking for a venue the Lady Gregory hotel in Gort should be on the top of your list, you will have nothing to worry about because they are amazing at planning your special day.

We would highly recommend The Lady Gregory Hotel for having your wedding reception. Fiona and Olivia were a pleasure to deal with and were so helpful from start to finish.The reception was decorated beautifully and matched our chosen theme perfectly. We would not change one bit of our wedding reception. Lots of our guests complimented the friendly staff and beautiful food.

From the outset Olivia at the Lady Gregory was fantastic. From everything in the hotel to giving tips on other aspects of our day i couldnt recommend enough.

We recently had our wedding reception in the lady Gregory in gort. Having visited a number of venues we chose this venue not just because of the fabulous interior but because of the fabulous owner/manager Olivia. Olivia was the kindest, most down to earth lady to deal with. Nothing was a problem for her. She answered all our silly questions initially as we hadn't a clue at the start! And was there every week for us as the planning pregressed. I became sick along the way and Olivia was most understanding and helped me enormously. Overall, from start to finish olivia and all the staff at the lady Gregory were just fantastic. Where do we begin with reviewing The Lady Gregory Hotel? Well first of all, our experience from start to finish was absolutely amazing. From the very first day walking into the hotel on their wedding fair day, we were made feel welcome and special, almost like we were the only ones viewing the hotel at the time. The warm approach that all the staff had, made our decision quite easy in the end, and that was before appreciating the sheer brilliance of how they decorated the space for the big day.
We were the same as any newly engaged couple, no experience in planning a wedding or what questions to ask, but Olivia was extremely helpful and always there to support us. They truly made the experience a pleasure, and one that was hassle free. They were extremely accommodating with little (or big!) ideas we had, such as our own cheeseboards we made, or our own doughnut wall at reception. Some ideas definitely ventured away from the conventional norm, but they were embraced by Olivia who made sure that they were executed and achieved on our day. They not only took on our ideas but were fountains of knowledge when it came to little ideas that really would impress any guest, such as how to setup our drinks reception to win over any guest! Honestly, there has not been one guest that was not overwhelmed with how The Lady Gregory managed our big day, from the staff, to the decorating of the space, to the top-class food that was provided throughout the day/morning after. We feel that the hotel went above and beyond the call of duty to ensure our day was magical.
With being a local bride, and chatting to friends, it seems that a lot of people decide to venture away from their hometown. To be honest this thought never crossed my mind, and It was always top on my list of venues. This wasn't only a view held by myself, as my sister also got married in the Lady Gregory Hotel in 2011. We knew then that the hotel was amazing, but it has honestly only got better and went beyond my expectations.
Everything was absolutely top class and could not be faulted in the slightest. You are always worried that your guests are looked after and have a good time, this worry was gone from day one because you instantly know its in the best of hands. If you have not chosen your venue and are still in the search for a dream location, please visit The Lady Gregory Hotel. From our experience, we can guarantee they won't be beaten! My Daughter had her wedding reception in the Lady Gregory and it was a very enjoyable day for me and the families involved.
The manager, Olivia, and her staff at the hotel were top class and went out of the way to make sure that everything went according to plan. I did not have to worry about any detail on the day. Olivia ensured that the decor was perfect on the tables and in the ballroom.
Prior to the occasion Olivia met with us on numerous occasions to ensure that they were aware of all our plans and wishes. The staff ensured that all our guests were comfortable and well catered for at the wedding, and on the following day as the celebrations continued. The guests commented on the lovely and comfortable rooms and the availability of the swimming pool for family use.
The food at the reception and the wedding meal was delicious and the hotel also provided food during the break in music and later at the residence bar.
Since the occasion I have received many compliments on the Hotel and the wedding and I would not hesitate to recommend The Lady Gregory for a wedding or any family occasion.

The Lady Gregory was a pleasure to deal with from start to finish. The first evening we went to view the venue we felt so welcomed by Olivia & Fiona that we nearly had the decision made to have our wedding there before we left.
The flexibility with the packages, the choice of food, and the attention to detail was fantastic. Everything was so seamless and hassle free in the preparation it made planning our special day so much easier. Olivia was at the other end of the phone or email whenever we had a question or wanted to verify something. All the team went over and above, and the standard they set for themselves was higher than we ever expected.
The drinks reception room & the main function room were decorated amazing on the day, as was the hall leading into the reception room. All these extra touches were included, and really made the place look magical. We took photos on the stairs and in the hallway leading into the function room and they came out fab.
All the food on the wedding day was outstanding; from the main meal to the afters to the late night food in the residents bar; all our guests commented on the food and are still talking about it months later. We had a large wedding but the service was top notch across the board.
When dealing with every one of the staff in the hotel you feel like you are dealing with one big family, even today when we go back for lunch or dinner the staff recognize us and always have time for a chat.
We would definitely recommend The Lady Gregory for a wedding, and they made it so easy we wish we could do it all over again!

We had our wedding here on valentines day . I was 7and a half months pregnant with twins so i didnt want too much hassle in organising things but still wanted a special wedding day. Olivia made everything so easy and took care of everything that we wanted . She couldnt have done more.we had an amazing wedding day. The staff are all so friendly and helpful . Our guests are still talking about the delicious food. The lady gregory is a gem and it comes at an amazing price with 5 star service. We had an amazing wedding here .
