Avalon House Hotel

We had our wedding in the Avalon house hotel last weekend, after two postponements in which they had been most accommodating with and then to finally have our big day was truly amazing!
We had a fantastic day ! Sinead and the team were absolutely flawless as was the food, rooms and decor ! All our guests had a fantastic experience !

We cannot recommend avalon house enough. Sinead and her team are just so professional and no job is to big or to small for them... The food was more than 5 stars all our guests are raving about it. And the hotel its slef is just a beautiful spot for a wedding!!! Words doesn't do justice as to how good this hotel and its staff are.. Don't hesitate to book this hotel. Just book it now. U will not be disappointed

We had our wedding in the avalon as well as the dinner and follow up party, we had all as requested.

we had our wedding in this lovely Boutique Hotel, Sinead (the wedding coordinator) was very helpfull and open to all our ideas. Everything was done has we had requested, it went all very smoothly. Peter Wilson and all the staff were very professional and were willing to address any queries and or requests.
we also had the ceremony in the hotel and could not have been happier with the way everything was set up and organized, it was such a romantic atmosphere, you do feel like its all about you.
The food was 5 stars, and with so many options to pick from.
the rooms were just very well decorated and the attention to detail was amazing, we were treated to our room with a lovely personalized card and some strawberries covered in chocolate (yum).

We had the most amazing wedding day in The Avalon in May of this year and thoroughly enjoyed every moment. The staff exceeded our expectations. They went above and beyond to ensure every detail of our day was perfect.
The venue is beautiful, and the food is absolutely delicious. Guest bedrooms are fabulous.
We were delighted with our wedding day and that's thanks to the level of care and attention to detail from all the staff to the bridal party and to all of our 180 guests.

We celebrated our wedding on the 15th of October 2021. Sinead, Bill and the staff were fantastic. With Covid restrictions in place, the team did their best to ensure we had the best day of our lives. We had 97 guests at our wedding. From start to finish everything was top class. The staff were very professional, guests commented that it was the best wedding meal they had ever had and the hotel rooms were fab! We were able to take photos both outside and inside the hotel- it really is a lovely setting! We have just received our photos and look back now with great memories of the most amazing day. The Avalon hotel was the ideal location for our intimate wedding of 6 guests and really surpassed all our expectations. Sue and the whole team did a fantastic job to ensure everything about the day was perfect and all the guests were at ease. No request was too big or too small. The rooms were beautiful and we all had a truly enjoyable day. The decor and style of the hotel is fabulous and perfect for photos! We would highly recommend the Avalon to anyone!

Thank you so much for everything you did for us on our wedding day and the lead up to it. Sean, Sue, Bill and staff could not have been more helpful in organising everything for us even down to the smallest detail. We had a ball on the day and the food was delicious. Lots of it and extra helpings. All of our guests were complimenting the hotel. The rooms we stayed in were fabulous and decorated lovely. All staff were very friendly and could not do enough for us. With Covid we had 3 weeks to reorganise and find a venue. Having viewed this venue originally we decided at the time not to book as their max capacity was 150. But when Covid forced us into number restrictions we were back on to them straight away as they have the perfect space for an intimate wedding in their restaurant. They were quick to respond and so helpful with all the queries I had. I will say even though we did not use the function room it is amazing, it has the bar in the room, a good size dance floor and if you have smokers as guests the area is not too far away.

From the second we arrived Joao, Sue, Bill and the best bar man ever Marcus went above and beyond not just on the day but the days leading up and the day after. The food was amazing and all of our wedding party could not stop talking about it. They took the worry out of the day for us.

They have a fabulous lit up court yard and we decided to have our first dance outside in it. Everybody was impressed with the area even in November.

Accommodation for guests was perfect throughout and as we had a wheelchair user as a guest they had a great room and were able to raise the bed for them to make their life easier.

It was an amazing experience that we will never forget and would recommend it to any bride and groom. Thank you Avalon for everything.
